Yeah, this sums it up for me.

Very disappointed to hear this news. Even before this delay, I was concerned about the release date of Issue 19 this year. Now I am very concerned....

Yes, I agree with each of these points.

I snagged the base salvage I was missing on my villain thru my hero via WW; I just need to e-mail it (to me) when that functionality goes live. Not the way I imagined completing my collection, but I am not going to complain.

This does not just apply to salvage and recipes.

It seems that the most we get every year is a bunch of stuff to give away -- little if any is actually City related. There is always an excuse that you can't come *THIS* year. If I wear a COH t-shirt (which I have to make myself), I get tagged time and time again by people asking if I'm with NCSoft, all weekend long.

PLEASE don't bypass Dragon*Con again this year. Send someone at least to see what you are missing. SONY didn't. Champions has been here. Why aren't you?
Dragon*Con has a date conflict with PAX West this year, and they already committed to PAX West. It sounds like Dragon*Con is a strong contender for 2011 tho....

It's not that they are going to the east coast for the second time this year. It's that they asked /us/ to pick the 5th stop and then ignored us.

What, like...5 people...said New York? At most?

    And how many said midwest?

So, really, they /don't/ want us to have any say in where they go. Seems to me they had already decided and they just hoped that we'd all say, "Hey, go to New York" and then they could be all like, "See? We're listening to you!"

    Hogwash.

They only look good the 10% of the time that what they have already decided and what the majority of the playerbase wants is the same.

    Anwyay...I'd rather be playing...
Sorry that their choice was not to your liking. However, this was not an election. They clearly stated that they already had a site in mind but wanted to get feedback from us.

I imagine that our feedback will be used going forward, as mentioned in the follow-up post by EMPulse.
  7. Base salvage supply will take a HUGE hit, as I believe that most of what is currently listed is on ALTS that are not looked at frequently. High priced base salvage redside will take a hit as it is more common blueside (Verminous Victuals for example).

Of course, the base salvage market is not very big (at least not REDSIDE).
  8. This is wonderful news; my REDSIDE characters truly appreciate the time and effort it is going to take to get this merge up and running. Thank you!

I am very curious how this reset is going to impact the BASE and COMPONENT salvage market. I imagine that most of the items that are currently posted are on alts that do not get checked frequently. I could see many items that are currently listed not returning to the market for a while (or ever).

As I am attempting to collect as many pieces as possible on my main villain character, I also wonder if there are some hero-only BASE salvage pieces that I will now be able to access.

    /em ponder

Clearly a typo on my part....
  10. For what it is worth, NYCC gives them the most bang for their buck due to its content AND size. Also, it is a great venue to showcase the game as DCU Online is going to have a large presence there.

I am not saying that I do not want the middle of the country to get left out. However, I can totally see the rational behind choosing NYCC as an event to attend.
  11. Wahooooooooo!!!!!

New York Comic-Con is awesome and will be a great venue for CoX. I have attend it the last two years and I am amazed at how well run it is. This is a fantastic venue for you to showcase the game and its expansion.

Just make sure that your panel does not get scheduled against The Venture Bros. panel...seriously. That event is crazy popular!

Looking forward to hanging with you fine folks in October. Hopefully your events are near the hotel I am staying at (The New Yorker).

    Time Warp, you say????

I imagine that we are close to some sort of announcement on what the final location will be....
  14. So I went to GameStop today and reserved my copy with a $5 deposit. The manager was very clear that the 9/1/10 release date in his system was not a placeholder; their placeholders are something like 12/31/9999.

I hope it turns out that he does not know what he is talking about....

Can they be stored in a base enhancement bin?

This is exactly what I thought - I thought the Black Smoke deposited MiB's body there, and expected Jack to be the new smokey.

Clearly I was wrong, however this plot hole puzzles me.
  18. I enjoyed the final episode, but I need some help with something:

How did Jack get out of the cave? When he was shown laying on a tree by the river it seemed similar to the MiB getting expelled from the cave. Did I blink and miss something?
  19. I enjoyed reading the Lost threads while at work - my thanks to everyone that made my reading interesting.
  20. Consolidating the info, just 'cause I needed something to do while eating my Cheerios. Also, EMPulse rocks and I thought this might help her a wee bit....

Wrong - meeting ME at the Boston Meet -n- Greet was the highlight for them.

Heck, Posi mistook me for some guy he campaigned with (and probably owed him some $$$).
  22. It was great to have you fine folks visit Boston. Do it again in 2011!

That video was done by the person sitting in front of me at the panel. I taped like 10 minutes of the panel before I realized that my arm was damn tired and 20 other folks were taping it too.
