Sadly I agree...there really is no reason to make this Spider-Man movie.

Even worse, as Sony owns the SM film rights there is no way we will even get a sniff of Spider-Man showing up in the Marvel Universe that is being built on the silver screen (Iron Man, Avengers, etc.).

The sketches by artist Harry G. Peter are surrounded by notes from Peter and William Moulton Marston.
The original sketch shows Wonder Woman wearing a two piece outfit: a belly shirt with the eagle motif, a blue and silver belt, and a star spangled skirt.

It would look better if she had a 90s style jacket on....
  3. Good episode that moved a lot of the non-main characters forward.

The space station keeps getting mentioned. I wonder if this will be a plot point in the finale?

    Things I liked:

    - ShoreLeave's reaction after jumping into the ocean

    - "That's not a gun; that's an indication of how excited I am to do this!"

    - Hatred describing his bunyan to White

    - Hatred unloading on White (a la Shore Leave from earlier this year)

    - Robo Bo, and Hunter's reaction to it
  4. 'Silent Partners' airs tonight at 11:30 PM.

Then a month long break until the hour-long Season 4 Finale. What type of cliffhanger will we experience???
  5. Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

    IMDB entry

I accidentally attended the first part of the Monsters panel at the New York Comic Con. What I saw and heard really piqued my interest. This movie will be released next week in theaters, HOWEVER it is also being released ON DEMAND on the same date. Interesting strategy ot say the least.

I am looking forward to this, and I hope that it lives up to the expectations I have in my head after hearing the creator / director / writer discuss it.

If she says Closed Beta, than that is my bad.
  11. Just unpacked from the trip - man, I am TIRED - more later....

Had a blast at the MnG. Got there late due to attending The Venture Bros. panel. Had a great night with Electro and his wife, and then Captain America joined us! Good conversations that hopped all over the map with very nice and intriguing people. We will have to throw together another unofficial meet-n-greet in Boston sometime soon! Or upstate NY, whichever is easiest for folks to get to....Two other Triumph guys pointed me in the right direction to get my Costume Code card, and I definitely owe them for doing that! Met Fulmens and his wife, and he was able to plant a crazy idea (or two) into my head. Looking into the Crazy 88s soon....

Enjoyed the DJ and the songs he was mixing (Another Brick in the Wall with ... Dancing Queen??). Put in a request for some Black Sabbath (early stuff ONLY!) and played Where's Mishi with the folks.

WW and I discussed the finer points of what is the difference between a Man-Cave and a Woman Cave (plants!). She is such a nice and interesting person, and it is good to know that she is steering the direction of the game. I would love to see a Dark Tower easter egg work its way into the game sometime...

Avatea was much taller than I expexted, and it was great to listen to her speak with her accent. Nobel Savage and Black Pebble eluded me, however it appeared that they were all having a blast. Sadly there was not much CoX swag at the table when I arrived, however this was not too big of a deal for me.

The NY Comic Con was absolutely insane, and I would guess that attendance is waaaaaaaaaay up from last year. Hopefully the CoX team got what they wanted from their trip - I want to thank them again for traveling to the East coast 2x this year.

The only thing I would have changed about the Con would be to NOT hold the DCUO panel in the same room immediately after the CoX panel. That seemed a bit...tacky. However I did get to sit next to the Scarlet Witch at the CoX panel...which rocked!
  12. Posting on my itouch from my hotel rooom. The panel was goood and Avatea was a great moderator. The only things I will add for now is that issue 19 open beta is next week, more new travel powers are under consideration and Prat epics seem likely. And there was a really passionate plea for more slots. And don't expect an official CoX Mids-type program anytime soon.

More tomorrow when I have a keyboard...

  14. I am off to New York City for the NY Comic Con. Very much looking forward to The Venture Bros. panel at 8PM tomorrow night! Hopefully Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick will be on their best behavior!

This week's episode is Bright Lights, Dean City.

Will we learn more about this guy this week????

  16. Gotta love Cracked.com!

Only there can you read lines such as:

"Terry Long from Teen Titans is a cross between a member of the Bee Gees and a Dutch porn star. He is the fist of the '70s hitting you in the face forever."

    CREEPY!

Lots of great dialogue to go around here. The Alchemist was fantastic, especially when he was punching a kid!

The introduction of Nikki was somewhat out of the blue, but I quickly bought into the fact that Hank and company have interacted with her 'offscreen' for a while.

    "Get your a$$ to Mars!" . . . classic!

  21. What an awesome episode - the writing on this show is top notch!

Every character contributed in some fashion - and it is good to find out that The Alchemist went out on a date!
