Oh boy! Ever since I preordered CoV and first equipped the crabspider helmet, I've been kicking myself for not getting the Arachnos helmet. Now, if poverty and various things hadn't kept me away for various periods, I'd have hit 51 in July, and now I'm sorry I havent. BUT. The 54 month award being something that's already been awarded is TEH SUXXOR. I mean really, if I'd wanted those other powers, I'd have chosen them the first time. IMO, Sands of Mu and the Dark Staff are the only way to go... I hate knockback and that axe is just plain worthless...
What about something new? How about a laserbeam eye power pool? Or, Shoot, after 4 and a half years of loyalty, how about a vet reward travel power like permanent Raptor pack or Zero G pack?

Looks like a rehash of the stealth and enforcer parts to me... Glad now I didn't pay the $10. I want an actual laserbeam eye pool.

When I saw the link 'Discuss it here, Boppers" I could hear Lynn Thigpens voice and see her in my mind talking into the DJ mike. I wish the Warriors were more like the movie, but I guess there are copyrights to consider....

I defy you to show me a Dominator who has his difficulty set to Invincible, or is even capable of doing so.

Mad props to the people that keep this list updated!! Do we know if the Devs ever plan to put the numbers on the badges in the menu, so we have an easy reference for the settitle command?

This is the longest standing costume bug that I am aware of, and I've been here since CoH beta.

Personally, I think if a Mob is not purple to you, he shouldn't be able to oneshot you ever. 90% maybe... But not enough that you can't pick yourself up and run for your life.

One thing people should be aware of is that increasing your difficulty gets you more xp from mobs, but the bonus stays the same, and since you do less missions per level, you wind up getting far less influence overall. So, you find yourself and 12 and 22 sucking wind for DOs and SOs.

A villain that thinks he's too powerful? Is that possible?

My only complaint is that global shows people online when they're not.

I play a 19 healer on Victory, and I don't really pay attention to what others are doing... I just watch the team list for health and buff status. If a blaster or scrapper suddenly takes a big health hit, I heal them with Heal Other. If they're out of range, I TP them back into range, and if they complain about that, I stop and if they go out of range again, they're just out of luck. I do an excellent job of keeping my team at full health and get lots of compliments.

That's lame... If you enjoy playing with the person, W.T.F. difference does it make what gender they are? Don't be a dick because you made an assumption that turned out wrong.

It's a lesson I learned in EQ a long time ago. If I play a male ogre warrior, I can't hardly buy a group and people don't have much to say to me. If I play a female woodelf ranger, people are knockin each other down to give me stuff and spamming me with invites.
Same with COH, I play a male character and noone wants to know me. I play a female character and people are knocking each other down to group with me and give me influence.
The only thing that cracks me up is when people hit on my female characters. LOL... It's the total internet cliche`. The see this hot little japanese blaster and think "wowsers!" not realizing I'm a 40 y/o irish guy who's 6'5" 290# with a shaved head and tattoos. hehe.
So, I play both, depends on the concept I come up with. I play the character for the character. That's why I have quite a few characters who don't have ANY travel powers. They're naturals, they can't fly, or run faster than Fitness will allow, so what? That's the character. He/She is out of luck until they implement vehicles.
