Post counts should be removed too.

So what if his information was wrong? As I said previously, that is a BENCHMARK for others to try out. If it don't work for them, and others, that information can be fairly reasoned as being wrong (for now, anyway). Fine. Done with. It's called collaboration for a reason. Answers will eventually be gotten.

Post count do mean you have been around and active on the forums. Meaning you have been reading and replying or making your own posts. If someone has been active in the forums more so since the begining of the game then anything they say knowledge wise will have more weight then someone who uses their first post to answer a question. Take a poll if you will but that is how it is. The majority of people will be more likely to believe someone with 5000+ posts then someone with 5 post. -
Voodoo I see the point that was trying to be made. A lot of the problem I see is that people with higher post count like yourself and Taser and quite a few others DO get looked at as gospel simply because you have been around for so long. Many people post what they think or read somewhere else. While it is understood that people are just trying to be helpful if the information is not entirely correct then it only hinders people. Taser posted any Crey mission 30+ will spawn PPs when in fact it is any Crey mission 35+ that you need. Things like that will make people take missions too early and possible not be able to get any others. Sure Crey is a bad example because you can get like 4-5 Crey missions. Was the post a bit abrupt yes but I call it having a bad day and posting in haste.

The difference may be something like the RedCap vs Red Cap issue. Where the ones that spawn from another source were counted. I'm not sure about this, as I've not been able to try it myself, but I've seen a few posts about this mission instead of Rimsey.

Yes, it's farmable, assuming you can ditch the hostage before you exit. Don't let him be killed by the ambush, though, that may give a mission failure.

Another issue with longbow would be that fact that unlike what was previously stated about there only be one spec ops per group, like sappers, spec ops repeatedly spawn 2 per group even while solo.

The time and effort required for just the person that attempted this would be insane. It would probably take at least a month or 2. Probably longer to even find enough people willing to do so. Which is why after considering it I sent the PM to Positron and then posted this. I knew since he didn't respond to the PM he would respond to this post. And if he responded it would most likely be with a we are not gonna allow this to happen. Therefore being the deciding factor in the OCD aspect of wanting to collect the badge.

Sorry Beef but the badge appearing was and is a fluke. Most that got it probably got it the same way I did. A PVP zone event that someone used an Amy at. I was on a team with 7 or 8. Can't remember the exact number and I remember targeting the witch with my brute and beating her to a pulp. That means all of my teammates got credit for kill to so right then and there 7 people had a unknown badge bar appear. Can't use temp powers in the Arena so the only way would be PVP zone.
That being said those of us that have this badge bar I would either like Cabal to be added which may eventually happen or it be removed if possible. Most of us badge whores will agree that a badge that can not be completed should not have a bar sitting there just teasing us. -
I still have the question of whether I will be able to complete it though. Saying you are putting in a fix that would make it not possible. Assuming that means you gonna change the alliance of Amy. That being said I only killed one Amy on my toon during a forum announced PVP battle royal. But I now have this badge bar which until a legitimate way is made then no villain can get the badge. Which will mean some of us might have this uncompletable badge bar indefinitely or until Cabal are introduced. Are there any current plans for Cabal coming into play?

Don't expect this to work. I made a change that prevents this badge from being given to villains until a legitimate (i.e. not using Amy Temp Power) way to get it exists.

Castle, while you are looking at it, what would it take to make it so that ANY damage you take is reported in the Combat Spam chat?
Yes, even falling damage.
If I see red numbers above my head, I'd like to know what it is that's causing that damage.
It's not just Longbow Wardens that have this issue, there are several other mobs in the game that have the same problem, and unfortunately, none of them come to mind right at this moment.
It seems that if it's possible to get the Combat Chat to report any and all damage, and it's source, then things like this wouldn't happen.

If falling damage was reported then it would most likely count towards the damage badges so they wouldn't add it for that reason alone. -

Kronos spawning in PvP zones was a bug that I believe is fixed. There never was any plan to have Kronos spawn in Warburg, but because he spawned on a CoH TF it used to be able to make the ambush happen in a PvP zone. This, I believe, has been fixed as it was/is a bug.

Don't really see it as bug considering it was a ambush on story arc and not a TF. Ambushes happen whereever the mission holder is so does that mean no ambushes in PVP zones at all or just Kronos? -

Also, if all these monsters were meant to be taken down by more than one team, why should only one team get the badge? Forgive me if I'm mistaken, it's been a while since I've tackled a giant monster, but last I checked the badge was only given to the team that does the most damage. This was to prevent, I guess, people from coming in, swatting the thing once and sitting at a safe distance for the badge. And it works nicely for that scenario, but consider this scenario:
Team A: Deals a total of 2000 damage
Team B: Deals a total of 1999 damage
Team A: "WooooO! Badge earned!"
Team B: "@#$%... well, that was a big fat waste. But at least we kept team A's scrappers alive with our defenders."
So I ask in general, but especially if you go around buffing monsters up, let the badge go to all who help to defeat the monster, not just the team with the highest level damage dealers.
Again, strike this completely from the record if I don't have my facts straight. I do know that this does not apply to Lusca, but I'm pretty sure it still goes for Adamaster, Krakens, etc...

Currently the badge is given to ANY team or player-not-on-a-team that does 25% or more damage to the Giant Monster.
When Giant Monsters get tougher (Issue 7), this number will drop to 10%(or more), encouraging more teams to fight them. The rewards will be increasing as well.

So Positron you ever gonna respond to Kronos? Was a change put in to prevent him from spawning in PVP zone? You didn't to answer the PM I sent. 6 people spent 4 hours on test trying to get it to happen. Thats 24 hours worth of play time and I am sure others have done the same. So why can't you simply answer this question?

It appears a stealth nerf might have been put into play with villains trying to get Master of Olympus badge. Getting a response from a dev about this instead of people wasting hours trying to get it to happen would be a good thing. 6 of us on guardian spent like 3 1/2 to 4 hours on test trying to get him to spawn in Warburg last night. Sent a PM to Positron and while he read it I got no reply. CuppaJo said that the bug had been fixed but how was it a bug really? Taking massive coordination in order to get a badge is a lot of work and in the whole risk vs reward aspect I see no bug or exploit in villains getting this badge so what gives?

Are you refering to a bar underneath the capbuster badge? So you have 3 badges at bottom, trailblazer, capbuster and then another unknown. Because a few of us have that one and have been unable to figure out what it is since it is not a epic badge and only thing under trailblazer is Croatoa badges. Unless something new was added or if something else was counting for one of the other Croatoa creatures. No reponse by Positron to my post I put in here about a week ago. -

Posi, before a *lot* of ppl waste a *lot* of time, can you confirm one way or the other as to whether or not Villains will/should be able to earn/keep the Cap Buster badge?
If we arent supposed to get it, then get rid of it now, before the jobless players have a chance to get it and the rest of us are left bending over. Otherwise, please fix it so all red caps count. Or at least assure us that you'll datamine down the road...
(All I know is that if I end up resetting a mish 333 times over the next 2 weeks - because I'm a sad little badge b*st*rd - for *nothing*, then NCSoft will have 1 less customer...)
