If an expected fix is not in a patch note, then rest assured... IT'S NOT IN THE PATCH NOTE.
And if it's not in the patch note, then rest assured... IT'S NOT FIXED YET.

Not necessarily. How many times are there "stealth" nerfs or fixes? How many times do they simply forget to put something in the notes? It has happened before and most likely will happen again whether intentional or not.
As for the OP, I could swear I saw it in some notes not too long ago. I could be wrong though, might have just been some other fix we've all been whining about. -
Considering that you want to run Arkham Asylum, the first choice between those links is probably not going to cut it unless you like to play slideshows. I'm gonna suggest to you the same thing my dad did to me when my last video card died. If you can afford it go with something that you won't have to worry about having to replace it in 6 months. The 9800 linked above should do nicely.

If you're running a Celeron, you might have another problem there. -

you seriously cant see whats wrong? theres a good sized piece of the armour missing. your not supposed to be able to see the bottom of the helmet.

Maybe you should have used a screenshot that focused on the head then, as well as mentioning it in your post. -
One thing I'm wondering is if it might have something to do with the location you installed it. I remember with Vista some programs acted weird if they were installed to the Program Files directory. Possibly something similar here? I'd suggest copying the directory to another drive, uninstalling and direct the updater to the copy rather than re-installing.
Though also, more memory could help. Win 7 uses about 1.2 gig of my 4 at the desktop with my standard programs running, and 2.5 gig when CoX is up. It's possible that it's choking between trying to juggle system resources and CoX back and forth from the system ram and your swap file. While WoW may run fine, CoX has higher system requirements. As I understand it correctly (from trying to figure out why XP 32-bit wouldn't give me all 4 gig) Windows will allocate memory addresses for your hardware which will take chunks out of your available ram.
Another memory note, I see that Windows has forcefully allocated about 768 MB as "shared" video ram. As far as I can find there's no way to disable this. That could be causing part of your problem as well. It's trying to take system memory for video, but it needs to take it back for the game. Kind of a tug of war between Win7 and CoX. Again, WoW's requirements are lower so it wouldn't be affected as much if at all. About the only thing that can be done to solve this problem is to buy more memory, which is probably a good idea anyway.
So anyway, I suggest copying the game directory to another drive, uninstalling the original and re-directing the updater to the new copy. -
Yes, please please fix the wet t-shirt effect on white tops.

instead of giving the respec the day of release why dont they just wait for like 3-5 after.Because in teh past they have given on the day and people scream we want another.

The reason everyone made such a big deal about it before is because there often wasn't much warning. Here ya go. A week in advance. No one can say they couldn't have known. -

My biggest problem, and has been for the past few Betas, is that they made them closed. I have played the game for nearly two years, paying my money to play, I have stuck with the game through changes I didnt like even, would you please stop this closed beta garbage
[/ QUOTE ]
As they've said many times before, closed beta helps them get things fixed better and faster. Rather than having a few thousand people on who just want to play, they have a smaller number who are actually interested in testing and helping make it better. Besides, it's not like it will stay closed all the way until release. You'll have your chance to try things out sooner or later. -
In reference to getting the 48 month rewards in March instead of April, if I remember right, they count from when your account was created and how much time paid/played. There's still some playing who were in the CoH beta. Even just 1 month in beta would let them get the 48 this month instead of next assuming they kept thier account active this entire time.
To those getting the 48, lucky [Censored].
To those complaining about these in pvp, deal with it. 1.5% isn't gonna make a difference. If it's really THAT big a deal, do as someone above said, spit on it and watch it die. -
Not having to scrape that silver crud off will be nice. Though I wonder if they've stopped putting Auto Assault trial codes in with em and replacing it with maybe...Tabula Rasa? *hinthint*

Chung: We are going for the latter. We're taking some of our IPs and reviewing whether they would work on console. We want to make sure that we don't just bring these IPs over to PS3, but also make the experience optimized for console gamers.

I think these two things here are something that most people posting here are missing. For them to port CoX to a PS3 it'd require a rather significant overhaul of the UI and control scheme (damn you SOE for screwing up SWG!). To port Guild Wars however, wouldn't be much tougher than the original Diablo for PSX. Exteel is just begging to be ported over. Lineage, same problems as CoX. Dungeon Runners could possibly be done without too much trouble (been a while since I played it). Tabula Rasa also would possibly be a candidate. Can't remember what other games NC has.
Lineage and CoX, IMO, would be lowest on the porting candidates. Dungeon Runners, Guild Wars and maybe Tabula Rasa would be FAR easier to do considering the UI and control scheme wouldn't be to difficult to make work using ONLY a gamepad. -

So, does this mean Ex plays villains? -

Guess we'll see how the wheels turn on this whether it's good for the community or were headed down the road of SWG, EQ or *gasp* MXO. (do people even play that anymore?)
[/ QUOTE ]
Anyone notice that those 3 are all SOE games, and that 2 of the 3 were bought out by Sony from the original developers? I suspect Vanguard to be added to this list soon enough.
Part of the problem with SWG is that the entire development team was replaced at one point, thus causing the game to go in an entirely different direction. Since the original team from Cryptic is moving to NCSoft, I don't see this as very likely of happening. -
I think it's more like 'pick a weapon, then pick which weapon model you want'. No more frankenguns!

Perhaps because it was a big enough issue that they wanted to get it done NOW. This also gives them an extra day before the weekend just in case there's any problems.
