Yep, emotes would be awesome. Maybe even one unique emote per pet, like having the gnome jump on your neck and start punching you (for no damage).

Yeah or other thematic NPC's.
Maybe a group of "generic" heroes/villains (in supergroup colors!) doing the warm-up emote together. Or a token scientist looking intently at whatever you place him next to, and taking notes. Maybe a security guard pacing casually back and forth. Or possibly a guard bot hovering around a limited area projecting a small searchlight.
None of these NPC's need to have any actual defensive function, and could even simply "disappear" during an actual raid for the sake of convenience/simplicity. Or maybe count guards/sg-member NPC's as "pets" with simple attacks. (It's hard to picture "creating" people with salvage, but some of the mutation/natural salvage might suit it well enough. And, of course, there's nothing super-science or sorcery can't accomplish!).
And cage dancers from Pocket D. We need cage dancers.

Definitely. Try The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for true comic-book power levels while still facing serious challenges. Once they can translate a game like that into an MMO format, I'm in. -
When he says the invention system can be used to fashion enhancements, I wonder if he is referring to normal types of enhancements, or to new types? Like maybe weaker versions of Hami-Os.
If it's the former, it'll still be useful up to the mid 30's or so, but then most toons will have the inf to buy a full set of SO's anyway. If it's the latter, it could be useful all the way to 50. -

Fair enough - much better to delay an issue and make sure it's running smoothly than to add to the current bug count. It's also good to hear that the bugs are being worked on.
Thanks for the communication, it really goes a long, long way toward making the players feel part of the process.
Edit: Ooh, just noticed the Dominators are getting some love in I8 as far as the LRSF is concerned. Great to hear! I rarely play Dominators myself but ecouraging team diversity on the LRSF can only be a good thing. -

Fix the Memory Leak bug, lag, rubberbanding, long zoning times, mapserver disconnects, and the base kick bug, and it'll feel like a completely different game. -

Oooh I like this. Capturing important/fun supergroup moments for all to see. Great for a Trophy Room. Something like this would remind members that they're part of a team , not just individuals. Make it clickable for a close-up view. -

Just adding my name to the list of those concerned with lag/FPS/memory leak/long zoning time issues. It really takes a lot of the fun out of the game when your toon keeps freezing/rubberbanding when all you're doing is superjumping or even flying to your next mish ...
Performance has taken a major hit in the last couple of issues. Let's give it a hug and some warm cocoa.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, but in that case they may need to cut the xp you get from killing npc's in half too in order to meet the whole "risk vs. reward" thing.
Which they've already thrown out the window by removing 9/10 of the rewards from the Katie Hannon AV's without adjusting the risk.
Just saying.

Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, rated T for Teen. You kill citizens all the time, who run around screaming and begging for their lives.
Hmmm ... I wonder if there are any other games rated T for Teen.
One caveat: in the Hulk, cows are indestructible. This is not a joke. You can pick cup a cow, destroy a tank with it, then a helicopter, then a mech, and repeat ad nauseum.

All I can say is that the storage vaults better be tested. And tested. And tested.
The last thing anyone wants to see is a Hamidon Enhancement disappear because they got DC'ed out of the base right after they placed it in the vault. And the last thing they want to hear is a dev saying, "Sorry, we can't replace it for you." -

It would be nice if tankers had a special ability that ... you know ... actually *worked* (in pvp i mean).
If Gauntlet is unbalancing in PvP, simply make it so that instead of 'punchvoking', it creates a PBAOE for each punch, which increases the duration/magnetude of a successful use of the Taunt power. At least then Tankers would be able to have a special ability that works in PVP, just like every other archetype.
