^ yeah, i noticed that while the mobs weren't all packed around me it became more difficult. i had a problem with another member of a team i was on yesterday (f/f blaster...) pulling, and making them all run around like crazy so it was difficult to herd them together..
20 now :d stamina should make things that little bit easier! -
My lvl 18 (now 19
) inv/ss tanker was last night, for the first time ever, taking damage properly and tanking properly! i'd just used a vet respec to follow a guide build because it looked like what i wanted more.... i had a magnificent team with great support! today, i had [censored] support, but was still scraping by. i'm so pleased. i think i might finally take a char to 50! :S

my bubbler hit 23 today. bubbles/psychic. it's a lot of fun. i got a bit frustrated trying to solo nocturne earlier though :P can't wait for the fairy wings (inventions, i9) so i actually make her look like a pixie

Regeneration - wounds heal at an incredible rate, immune to most forms of mental control, and finds it difficult to get tired and thus, rarely sleeps more than once a week.
Strength - as a result of his mutant regenerative abilities, his strength is much higher than that of an average human.
Flight - currently, it is unknown how he performs the amazing feet of self-propulsion through the air. it could be a result of his mutant powers, but further investigation is required.
Stealth - as a private assassin, Quiesce was made to wear a special dark grey suit that can bend light around him, making him difficult to spot.
Focus - for short periods of time, he can concentrate on his opponents 'body', allowing him to find any weak spots and take advantage of these.
Limitations:
Forgetting that he can be overwhelmed by more powerful adverseries.

intense martial arts training from a young age has given him incredible self control and focus.

Biography:
Q.52 was born onto a cold operating table in the LifeSpring labs, and instantly seperated from the woman that had carried him. Q.52 was a member of the 'Q' series of children - all born from mutant mothers in unfortunate circumstances, that were payed a substantial amount of money to give up their child.
By the age of 3, although unable to talk, he had shown incredible physical prowess, was much faster than the other 'Q' children, and never seemed to be injured, even after falling from great heights. He was dubbed 'Quiesce' (to be silent) by the projects funders.
It was decided he would be used as a weapon, intended to remove 'threats' from positions of power within various US corporations. He was trained in various forms of martial arts, and learned about the acupressure points in the human body, allowing him to render people immobile or stun them.
His first assassination was at age 15. He was then bought from LifeSpring labs for a nominal sum, and the labs were nuked no longer than 20 minutes after his departure.
In the following years, hundreds of bosses and crimelords in the US had dissapeared without a trace.
While on a mission to Paragon City to kill a woman known as 'Tracy Parks', Quiesce passed a school on fire, and attempted to intervene. Unfortunately for everyone in the school, it exploded shortly after Quiesce entered. To regenerate, Quiesce's body automatically entered a coma.
He awoke months later in hospital in Kings Row - perfectly recovered but with a significant portion of memory missing. He took up fighting crime in the city as it seemed like the thing to do for people with talents such as his.
Recently, he has learned to talk in order to communicate with fellow heroes. -
thursday at 7 sounds good for me - i'm not sure what has good synergy with kin though. energy or electricity for concept perhaps.. hmm!

i would like to play a kin/ defender. unfortunately my play times are not massively flexible. my only available times really are thursday evenings and sunday evenings.

hi,
recently rolled an ice/en blaster. i plan on being single target ranged attacker with blapping as a backup. taking leaping and fitness pools. concentrateing on pve with pvpable build.
i've got a few questions and any advice from people with ice/* or */en experience is welcomed.
1) is it worth getting blizzard (especially if combined with the other rain power?)
2) what would you recommend as an ancillary pool - considering force mastery at the moment
3) is boost range useful without a snipe?
any builds would be helpful as well. thanks -
my usual rule for control powers is "2 accuracy, 2 durations, and 2 recharges in everything (or, 1 recharge 1 end redux)"
but for carrion creepers i would pop in 3 recharges (like you would for ice slick), 1 acc, 1 immob and 1 slow and for fly trap, 2 acc 3 damage and possibly 1 immob (but i've not seen fly trap in action yet). -
yeah i knew i hadnt got the legs right. with a bit of shading it could be fixable. and i hid the hands because they would just look.. awful. i cant draw hands. thanks

Emanator is my rad/rad corruptor. He is loosely based on 'Nuke' from Squadron Supreme (the Supreme Power version).
I drew a picture of him in "irradiate" pose.(and I don't have a scanner, so the pics had to come from phone-camera, lol) and would like constructive criticism. I'm not an artist, but took tips from this thread. thanks everyone that posted tips there

i've got a 22 mind/psi dom just sitting on union. i'd be happy to play him for something like this as i intended on getting to 50 but got fed up of soloing. should try again now domination got a boost.

Bonnot could barely remember where all his traps and devices had come from. One from here, one from there, scavenging through boxes and finding useful 'toys' wasn't that hard, especially on his excursions to Paragon. The only thing he could definately remember was the temporal distorter. It had been dropped by Professor Echo during a battle, and thanks to a bit of tinkering, Bonnot could use it to slow down time for everyone else, as well as speeding it up slightly for himself.
He seemed to be developing quite a skill for leadership as well. After all, the guys didn't mind following his orders, even his old mentors. -

you dont need the recharges in the second upgrade as the recharge has been reduced. 2 endreds would suffice now

Bonnot scrambles out and hears a female shouting. Following the sound, he hears what seems like the end of her speech.
"... we are unstoppable! A brutal wave of steel, a juggernaut of masterminds! Right now. Right here. Let us form a pact. Let us form a gang that will shake this world with fear. As one, we shall dominate all and conquer what we wish. Are. You. With me?"
Bonnot joins in with all those cheering around him.
"Yeah!"
What am I getting myself into? At least I look normal compared to most of these people. -
When he comes too, Bonnot is disoriented. Completely unaware of any plans that may have been in place, his only aim is survival. Escaping would be a bonus.
"Play it cool" he mutters to himself "hrm, that big guy dissapeared."
He wanders out of his cell to find what can only be described as chaos. Chaos confuses him. He looks around for a guard. A gun. He picks up the gun and follows the path that appears to have been used by everyone else - it must be the way out. -
