    err... it's a kill badge, not exploration..

    <.< and badges didn't exist, so they're no reason anyone would have killed the 100 enemies in the toutorial needed for the badge.. escecially since they don't give out any xp or infl

    Well since I would assume most of the population who would still need this badge would be 40+ in the community. I was thinking maybe make it harder for the 40+ heroes to earn this badge.

    A possible Monster Class Contaminated I think would be awesome. We would need a team to defeat them, thus creating more teaming chances for the community. And make these contaminated a rare spawn sort of like the Kraken or Adamastor. That way its not a easy badge to earn. Possibly a kill 5 or 10 sort of like Sally was originally.

    That way it will give the future veterans a chance to create a new hero and not have to worry about Outbreak as we know what is expected of the game. Then giving us the chance to still earn the badge even after we skip outbreak.

    Because honestly in outbreak there is no risk. Only reward. You gain no xp nor do you gain debt. With this idea, if you choose to use it, will offer 4 things.

    1. Risk.
    2. Reward.
    3. Badge.
    4. And new content for the community.

    Just a idea for you to chew on

    The PVP badges should finally be "stable" now (with the version up on Training Room at least). A lot were being given out incorrectly or had bad descriptions.

    Reinforcement is for 20 PvP kills
    Forward Observer is for a PvP Reputation of 100
    Disruptor is for a PvP Reputation of 400

    Villain

    Patrols grant Most Wanted
    Missions grant Wanted or Agent Provocateur


    Hero

    Patrols grant Risk Taker
    Missions grant Vigilante or Agent Provocatuer

    Zone is irrellevant with the above.

    Posi, will the Risk Taker and Most wanted be available to the Higher level heroes and villains in the other PvP zones other then Bloody bay.

    As it stands now, every hero that existed in CoH that has currently outleveled Blood Bay for its mission when the zone was introduced will never be able to obtain this badge.

    Is there plans on implimenting this patrol mission in other zones to allow the heroes the chance in getting this badge?

    Also, does the dev team have any plans on implimenting a prestige badge and if so will it be for individual heroes/villains or will it be a SG/VG badge?

    Alright, The gunner badge. Is it still bugged? I know, someone has comfirmed it over on pinnacle, but, they said they had done over 300 firebases to get the badge. That seems to be quite alot of firebases and would take quite a long time.

    Is there, perhaps, a trick of sort involved? The badge description does kinda imply that you need to only take over 1 firebase... but 300? Bit rediculous.

    This is just my opinion and when I state my opinion, this is only for the zone Siren's Call.

    Siren's Call is where you obtain bounties and earn a greater reward if you collect your bountie by defeating the most wanted on your list. Hospital camping would not be as bad as it is today if only people would stop staying in the hospital because it prevents heroes and or villains from collecting their bounty on you thus driving them to try and get in the hospital to defeat you.

    Many heroes and villains stay in these safe zones for a very long period of time and I am assuming it is for the timed badges for the zone. If something was done about the timed badges then maybe this wouldnt be going on as bad as it is now.

    Thats just my opnion. Im sure it will continue even after a fix but I would bet no where near what it is now.

    Slowly but surely, it seems stalkers will be a AT not used at all as many builds will all have perception thus making the hide+stealth or simply hide pretty much worthless. you will not be a stalker but yet a weak scrapper that can crit when you see the green HIDDEN on your screen, even though your enemy can see you.

    Once Stealth and Hide are eliminated from the stalker he or she is worthless and shouldn't even be played in pvp as he will become useless.

    Its a shame if you ask me, I thought the At had potential

    There is a bug with certain Cone powers which cause them to always miss moving targets. We're working on a fix, but have no ETA.

  7. Also please take a look at the Ninja Blade power Golden Dragon Fly, it misses a great deal if you happen to joust the enemy.

    It even misses a great deal if you try to attack a walking target or running target, the attack will que up and attack but will always miss.

    It seems you have to be directly next to a still opponent for it to land.

  10. Hass anyone figured out how to obtain the Mob Specialist Gladiator Badge?

    Im mission this one as well as the crey power tank gladiator badge.

    This is wrong info on the crey power tank, I have completed and obtained the all the badges from the shadow shard TF's and I still do not have the crey power tanks, I believe this to be rumor, not a fact.

    Hey I love it, I pull 17 enemies on me, I go to the next few groups and pop the hell out of them and they do nothing in returns but stand there. Helluva AI fix ya got there States, what a joke...

    you just gave people the way to earn xp without any mobs attacking back.

    Hey maybe we can pull some swarms and beat the hell out of hami this way...lol

    But what really cracks me up with this change is , it was a stealth nerf, never mentioned at all. And wasn't the limits to AOE's and PBaoe's to solve this problem to limit the amount of herding done to slow down the leveling of the Power Levelers?

    Bad enough we have to deal with limits then this crap. Well some people like to gather an entire room up at once and blast them all for the FUN of it, now we can't do that.

    Nevermind, I think Im wasting my breathe here anyway. I forgot its Statesman's game not ours!

    Im sorry to say but who cares about such a small acc bonus, a single acc inspiration will bring you up to par with the others.

    What needs to be addressed is the slowness of the archery set, I have a lvl 50 arch/dev blaster and in comparision to other blasters it is very very slow when pulling the bow and then releasing the shot, by the time I get one shot off other blasters can fire off 2-3 shots. While most of the time I try to hit my target it is already dead by the time my shot gets there.

    I would be more happy if the speed of the archery set was increased rather then the acc.

    If Im not mistaken, it shouldnt be 18 months of data you have to go through. Shadow Shard and the TF were not introduced until issue 2 which was on September 16, 2004.

    So that would be less then 12 months not 18. So all datamining for the Shadow Shard TFs should be from the date not from the start of CoH itsself.

    Don't get me wrong I will run the TF's again Im sure because I enjoyed them, but the Dr. Quarterfield TF took us a astronomical amount of time to complete. Not to mention we have to do this TF again with the nerfed heroes we now have to deal with, I find this to be ridiculous.

    I would feel much better if I was awarded the badge for completing that TF over all others. But i will probably never do that TF again. It was all repeat missions, with no AV at the end or anything, it was the most boring TF I ever did.

    Don't you guys and gals see, this is just another plan of the dev team to get you to stay even longer to this game, at least thats how this poor choice makes me feel anyway. They know people play this game as part of collecting everything they can to complete the hero they spent so much time and money on, that they know you are hooked and will pay a few more months to get these badges so this is why they will not let a machine run its course.

    So what if it takes 2 years, at least we would get it. We spent countless amount of time and money to complete these TFs which Im sure many enjoyed as well as myself and to expect a reward such as a badge for their collection is now going to be crushed because its a little extra work.

    Devs, keep this in mind, some of these players here work a few extra hours a week to afford the things they come to enjoy such as this game so I dont think its too much to ask for you to do a little extra work to make us happy. Just remember where your money comes from!

    Also - after much pushing and shoving - we were told that there will NOT be data mining for TF badges. So if you did a TF before I5 - when I5 goes live you will not get a badge for it auto-magically.

    I know - it stinks - I'm sorry about that.

    **edited to read correctly - note on top of all that - Babbage that is in the TF will give you the badge - IF your group does the most damage to it - if someone helps you defeat Babbage - you may not get it if your team does not do the majority of the damage**

    Ex....

    Street Sweeping
    Missions
    Task Forces
    ect...ect....

    Also how much prestige would you earn for doing certain things?

    It would be nice to know what earns what to give us an idea on what to expect.

    These numbers seem fine on paper but when you are on the game playing, at 40% life, most bosses and or Lts can kill you in 1 shot.

    I love the concept of this power, but I feel what should have been done was defiance kick in as soon as you started taking damage, meaning use the numbers you have but also make it for example.....

    < 70% Health: +5%
    < 60% Health: +10%
    < 50% Health: +20%
    < 40% Health: +40%
    < 30% Health: +80%
    < 20% Health: +160%
    < 10% Health: +320%

    That way with my numbers above, you still get the effect of defiance but with a decreased damage buff, that way the blaster isnt risking his neck just to get in the red to do more effective damage. basically increasing the ramp size of the defiance damage buff.

    But thats just how I think it should work, because as of right now, I played for 7 hours today on test with the defiance and Im not impressed with how it works. The damage is nice if you can get that last shot off before the mobs do
  19. NO and I repeat no av mission should have a timer on it because of the fact sometimes depending on what time zone you are in can be very difficult to find a team to take out the av. Specially since the ShadowHunter av mission is now timed due to the people farming this mission. I think this was a mistake and should be corrected, or at least have it so thay when you log off the timer is stopped so you may choose another time to do this mission when you log in.

  20. 1.) Maybe a bank you could have for each account to save a certain amoutn of enhancements for when you can use them or store influence there so that all of the heroes you roll up can share from this one bank account.

    2.) Casino would be nice, give us higher lvl toons something else to do when we are relaxing from the battle field

    3.) More choices of clothing, such as trench coats and gowns for the ladies

    4.) Definately more content for lvl 50 toons as well.

    I could go on and on but these were the first to pop into my hollowed brain :P
