Oh and no Corruptor vids yet Powerforge? you are one of the leaders in AV soloing and those vids are very inspiring.
Looking forward to them. -
On my Sonic/Rad AV killer i run both the 45% plus what RI adds in -hit, I always thought AVs/Heroes had that little bit extra chance to hit you and thus it would take care of that.
I have problems with mez every now and then, why i cant do the scrapper challenge on him at the moment but have had no problems downing a Pylon, Mako, Synapse, Bobcat, Agent Indigo and Babs.
Your Status resists are way higher than mine so i would up you Def to the cap and prevent more of the mez from landing on you. -
Thanks MrQ
Will prob pair it with Fire for easy mode or Rad for hard mode, dont realy have the Infamy to load up on the procs though so fire will prob win out. -
Thanks Tiny
I planned to mainly use Howling Twilight for the -regen, with hasten and a few recharges i can easily bring that down under its duration to keep -500% regen, That way i dont need to add the heal to the attack chain and use it only when required for healing.
How did your fire/dark go, did it need a great deal of regen, i will miss AM for the regen.
Though i did think of going /cold i was a bit worried because of the lack of heal, meaning i would need to take Aidself, leaving me one less power pool to pick from. -
Tactics for /dark against AVs
I currently have a Sonic/Rad that i solo AVs/Heroes, very easy sitting in hover with the few toggles running and just spaming LR and the 2-3 sonic attacks. I am toying with the idea of making something a little different as my next project for soloing AVs and Heroes.
I wanted to do it with Dark, Traps didnt apeal and i dont think many of the other sets have a decent -regen debuff. I havent setteled on primary yet but it will probably be fire or rad, depending on how much i want to challange myself.
I relation to /Dark, what are the tactics used to keep the Heroe/AV in the Tar patch constantly if that is even possible. I would like to use the Mu mastery for Conserve Power so i only have available a hold on a long cooldown from the PPP. Should i be fitting Petrifying Gaze into a 6-8 second attack chain? If i went Dark/Dark would my Tentacles and fluffys version stack to imob the AV in the tar patch?
Main thing i am looking at is a way to reliably keep the AV in the tar patch and make the tar patch worth taking in the spec.
Cheers -
Wow nice Comp, the closest i could get was about 8 sec off.
Didn't think of fear and slotting boxing to eek out that little bit more.
Has the PF error though that counts one team member i think. May need to eek out that 3% def accross the board. -
Well as soon as i can figure out how to get mids to export correctly
-
This is my build, it was done on the cheap, and i went to 45% def(prob overkill). As i said i need a bit more recharge thal will come when i have a bit more Inf.

Please feal free to provide feedback or use as needed.
Works for Pylons and has been proven to work on some AVs and Heroes.
Only a 9 month vet so not a great deal of experience -
Like some of the other forums have done i have come to set a challenge:
I currently have a DM/SD build that is Soft cap'd that i have tried to keep to under 500K.
What i am seeking is a DM/SD build that is Soft cap'd and perma hastened without using Hami or purple enhancers. Is this possible and would anyone be willing to post it.
Only real requirements are:
Must positional soft cap'd
Must have Perma Hasten
Must have Smite, Siphon Life and Midnight grasp along with Dark con and Soul Drain
Travel powers are optional, i dont mind 3, 1 or none.
Gloom is optional but would be nice.
I have tried to do this myself but i have problems getting both the softcap and perma hasten without resorting to purples or HOs. -
I have no problems doing it on my Sonic/Rad, only set up after the extra inf earned on the 2xp weekend.
Didnt spend a great deal but wasnt hard to get the ranged soft cap.
Have done a Rikti Pylon and 4 AVs/Heroes so far. Mako, Synapse, Bobcat and Agent Indigo.
I do need a little more recharge to make Shriek-scream my attack chain, i need to insert shout or amplify at the moment and thats lowering my dps. My Shriek-scream combo has a momentary delay, small but worth the insertion of another attack or buff.
The thing i like about Rad over traps is i dont need to be near the ground for the laying of traps and the more significant heal when i do get hit over just double Triage beacon.
My next task is to try a few more AVs and an easier GM. -
Thanks fo the help Kos.
It gives me a good starting point and i can give or take a bit depending on costs at WW. -
Grats
Nice to see a WP take down an AV without temps/Insp.
Would love to do it on a DM/WP but think the cost is out of my reach at the moment -
Have read a lot of this forum but never posted myself till now.
I'm after some help to find the cheapest way to soft cap a /SD build.
I am able to get 43% on the 3 types with the SD power choices plus Tough weave maneuvers and CJ plus adding a Steadfast and a full set of Gaussians. I'm not sure if this is the cheapest way to do it though. Would be paired with DM so Aid self is not needed.
I am a six month vet with no blue side 50 so finances are very low, ss/wp 50 on red side but that doesn't help.
My main focus is to soft cap for AV solo's on the cheap. Lack of finances isn't a real concern as i was considering a SD/DM tank to make the soft cap easy but felt that the lost damage would not make it viable for AV soling.
