  2. Don't know if anyone's said this yet. But perhaps the whole Autumnal thing is a clue to something far more exciting; Power Combinations.

So you could choose to combine two existing Powersets from the Dominator Secondary, like Autumnal has with Fire and Ice? Perhaps something similar to the way VEAT's get to train with a second Poweset, whilst still being able to choose from the first one?

An interesting prospect. No doubt you'll agree!

    - Baltoro
  3. Yeah, I'm not a fan of using abbreviations. "Earth/Psi/Fire Domi" is my planned character. Just a general Post really. Thinking of rolling my first Dominator that I'll actually play to a high level. Wanted some opinions on the Build maybe. I think it seems good. Slots were a bit of an Issue, as I can imagine it is with most Domi's. I would have liked to have all the Procs for +Damage, like in Positron's Blast, Apocalypse, Armageddon and stuff. But it seemed like that were best skipped to make things better all round.

    Here's the Build;

I look forward to hearing your opinions (Kind of. As with anyone who makes builds, they kind of like to be the best. I expect criticisms, but I don't look forward to them!)

    Thanks guys,

    - Baltoro
  4. Yeah, I'm posting a bit more. I'm working full time, and on a Laptop most of the day, so this keeps me at least a little bit entertained.

I know there's plenty of ways for a well rounded Dominator. But I've not found one that agrees with me. I don't like making things I've seen too often, and Dominators have only a few different variations?

Haven't seen you around Union, Syph. Not that I'm knocking about much nowadays. Game's boring me a bit. Feels more like work at the moment. Think I'll make that one epic toon, then leave it there.

    - Baltoro
  5. Sypher Vendetta. I've had enough of you! I'm not rolling a Dominator till I can get a build to be well balanced enough. Also, I want to know what these changes are and when they're going to happen.
  6. They call you the Hunter for a reason it seems! Yeah, that's one I've seen before. Couldn't find it though, and I'm sure sure there was a related Thread? I'm really looking forward to these. Hope they come soon!
  7. Been having trouble finding the Thread with information on the "Upcoming" Archetype Specific IO's. Saw one a while back with images and stuff, was just wondering where it's gone. I'd like to take them into account when I make Builds now.

If nobody can point me in the direction of it, suppose we could Rez the topic here. I remember thinking they looked pretty awesome!

    - Baltoro
  8. It's separate, so you can get both stacked. At least my Pets do when they attack. Not sure if the DoT is effected by the -Res though? Like, increases if the -Res is active. And I'm not sure if it stacks either. Like, if I were to use 3 attacks on one Target, would the DoT from each apply? Or how it works in conjunction with the Achilles' Heel Proc.

But the DoT is definitely the way to go, if anyone was wondering. It's far superior to the -Res aspect. Hell, the 75% ticks often enough if you fire off enough attacks at once, so it almost feels like 100% Chance on my Thugs/Therm Mastermind because of the amount of attacks going off at once!

    - Baltoro
  9. It is likely that some people on here are from Union and know who I'm referring to as "just a friend of mine", as he's not exactly the most conspicuous player!

But yeah, I haven't been online since the day he got it, so I haven't spoken to him since, as I've had pressing issues to deal with in Arkham City, as well as a brief stint of Treasure Hunting in London and France, and am expecting to go to Syria at some point this evening. Has he been contacted by Devs at all, detailing what's up with Titan Weapons? I saw someone before mentioned that it's an unfinished version and people who have it have been told as such, but can they keep rolling toons with it? And what would happen when we get the patch for the "Real" Titan Weapons? Will those toons get fixed?

    - Baltoro
  10. 15% to Lethal and Melee (base)
    About 22% when pushed.

    Defensive Sweep grants:
12.5% to Smashing and Melee (base)
    About 18% when pushed.

I knew it wouldn't be the same because Tanks get it :P Wouldn't be fair!
  11. I heard it was only Smashing and Melee. Can anyone confirm this ingame with [Defensive Strike]? Also, I had no idea Martial Arts gave a 10% Defense to all? It doesn't stack though. But still, wow that's cool. I'm pretty torn now. I really wanted my Titan Weapons/Elec Tanker. Think maybe I'll go MA/Invuln and roll my TW/Elec as a Scrapper..
  12. Hey Mezegis,

All I know is that it adds to Smashing and Melee. I would imagine numbers similar to Parry and Divine Avalanche? Maybe a bit smaller, considering Tanks get it. Would make a Resistance Tank using it a bit Overpowered, would it not?

    - Baltoro
  13. Yeah, I'd go for the DoT option. Much more potent in the long run. Amazing on my Thugs/Therm both against enemies and theme wise. Absolutely adore it. The -Res comes up often enough to be useful, but it's the Fire DoT that really speaks volumes with Pets.

All the Cones and AoE's, especially Foot Stomp and Molotov Cocktail from the Bruiser and Arsonist respectively, are amazing. If you have more Single Target Pets though, not sure.

Also, does anyone know if the Fire Damage stacks from different attacks, and even from the same attack by another pet? Like 2 Enforcers using Empty Clips, for example.

    - Baltoro
  14. Yeah, goes without saying DJ. I think they should make a Toxic and Psionic one, both separate. But obviously with a nice little gimmick thrown in for each.

And yeah, I'm pretty damn jealous he got it. He announced it on a Channel, and I supersped my way to Atlas. And low and behold, a massive was Axe staring me in the face. To which I shouted and swore and told him I hate him.

Haha, yeah, I completely forgot about them! I'm still waiting to roll my first Dominator that I'll actually use. I tend to lean towards Melee toons and Buffers.
  16. I agree with the above comment. But I watched my friend play it Live, and it seemed pretty optimized to me. And, just as a passing comment; Even though I'm loving all these new Melee Powersets (Kinetic Melee, Street Justice, Titan Weapons, Staffs), the lack of balance between the amount of Primaries to Secondaries (unless you're a Tanker) is starting to grind at me a bit. Let's bring some more dynamic Secondaries like Shield.
  17. Yeah, I was online when it "leaked". Just didn't think to look on the Paragon Market! I mean, why would you! But yeah, I'm pretty miffed I didn't get it then. Hopefully it'll drop very soon.
  18. Last night a friend of mine was able to roll a LIVE Titan Weapons toon, after purchasing it off the Paragon Market for 800 Paragon Points. From what I can tell, it was made Live for a few seconds or a minute, then taken off. In which time he managed to purchase it, and roll a toon! I was just wondering if anyone else was so lucky?

Also, I suppose this is good news. I would imagine we can look forward to seeing a Titan Weapons release very, very soon? Or they'll delete his toon from the Live Servers.
  19. Here's my build for my SS/Regen Brute, as promised. I don't know how it compares to other Regens, but to me, it seemed pretty solid, if a little bit boring. Only 4 Attacks to be used on a constant cycle, more or less. So it'd need some altering for powers.

  20. This Thread annoys me! I was going to do Titan Weapons/Elec since I heard about it. Needed an /Elec, so thought why not go Titan with it?

Fusion Hammer and Electricity - Beta Ray Baltoro Anyone?
  21. I totally agree, Local. The last comment, I've been trying to make less defensively focused builds of late. I didn't really consider doing as such with this toon.

Also, I only didn't read the whole thing because time is so very precious. I don't really have the time to read such a huge guide all at once. I will probably read it once this character is off the ground and I'm playing and learning. As I said, I've never played Illusion or Radiation. And I embrace your criticisms.

Thanks man. But Maden, you need to chill out. I was neither rude nor aggressive, and identifying that it may be read that way, I made a point to show there was no ill will.
  22. Sorry if I've offended you Mental Maden?
  23. Really appreciate the input, Local. I'll give it a tweak and repost it later. I couldn't be bothered to look through your whole guide, so this is great. And yeah, I was kind of relying on the Incarnate for Perma PA. But I'm sure I could fine some else where. Defense is also a bit useless, what with PA protecting me from aggro. I am yet to know about the practical application of this Powerset, and clearly you know what you're on about. I've never played Illusion or Rad before, so from reading on Mids, my slotting seemed wise. I will be redoing it with less Defense in mind.

*Also, I didn't mean to sounds slightly abusive or whatever with my opening sentence. It could be misconstrued.
  24. Any reason why you chose Brute aside from the higher HP? Not getting Shadow Meld is a big hit for Regeneration Brutes. I've got one myself, SS/Regen. I'll edit this post when I get home and add a data link to that build to show you how I've done Regeneration, if you're interested.

    Few things I can say from a glance though;
    - The Slow proc in Combat Jumping is useless.
    - I'd put more slots in all of your Regen powers. Including Health!
    - On a Regen build, 2 slots in Defensive powers is adequate. I would say 2 slots of Luck of the Gambler is enough. Defense and Global Recharge. 3 if you can spare the slots from elsewhere.
    - Completely unslot Kick, that's a crime!
    - I wouldn't focus on pumping up Epics and Ancillaries when you're primary and secondary lack!

Power choices wise, you've done very well though.

I'll get back to you with that Data Link a bit later!

  25. *Already on the Build Workshop!

No doubt Local Man will pop up with a suggestion that I take a look at his Guide to Ill/Rad. But I was just wondering if anyone just could critique my build for an Illusion Control/Radiation, rather than referring me there.

Swapping out the Uniques (swapping the ones in Blind for a set of 4 Basilisk's Gaze and taking the Gladiator's Armor off, and perhaps moving them to Accelerated Metabolism to complete the set) is something I definitely plan to do until I can be bothered to afford them.

Anyway, thanks for taking a look if you do!
