I thought Numina: +Regen/+Recov was good but I just checked and the enhancements is selling for only 70 mil?!?! Did I check the wrong one? I heard that they were supposed to be about 250 mil. Let me know if I checked the wrong thing because I hope it did lol.

I'm starting to experiment with merits from TFs. I'm looking to make money by using the merits to buy recipes, then craft them, and then sell them.
Which recipes are the best to buy for this and how many merits will they cost?
Thanks. -
Thanks guys! You were right, the window was just shurnk, and I just had to drag it out..lol

Hi,
It's a quick question that hopefully some of you can help me out with.
In my Mids' Hero Designer, where you would see the powers you have taken (at each level) along with the enhancements you have slotted underneath each power, that whole area is really small now, to the point where I can't see the IOs I have on each power...I can't even read what power is at which slot.
How do I make it normal size again?
Thanks in advance! -
Quote:I'll make sure to try the 25-29 bronzes out (once the servers are back up!)Balle, you'll find that alot of them aren't worth the time. Or at least to me. If it only sells for a mil or 2, i delete or toss up as just a recipe and get back to the hunt for the bigger fish. I'll lose a mil to make 50 or 100, but that's me.
My best rolls lately have been in the 25-29 range. -
Quote:Right now I'm doing AE and testing my luck with tickets. I'm starting to buy recipes in the 34-39 range and I'm then crafting them and selling the crafted IO. It's kind of a pain though, since I quickly get my recipes full, I end up making a lot of IOs that just don't sell.Sorry bout ya luck, Storm. I farm BM in PI -1x8. I never, ever go weeks at 3-4 hours a day with no purps. I run about 1-2 hours per run and usually get a purp every 5 runs or so.
Saturday, i did the Freakalympics Arc in Oro. I did it 2 times back to back. Took 3 hours and i got 68 Merits. That's 3 rolls. (i can't save up to buy anything)
AE has made me 200mil since saturday. Just selling uncrafted recipes to offload fast. Found some good stuff in the bronze 25-29. Regen Tissue: Regeneration was one. Made 60mil off of that one.
I'll probably do a combination of farming at -1 x8 and AE farming the same mission. -
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble deciding who to get to level 50 next. Ultimately, I want the best farmer I can get (I already have a level 50 Fire/Kin). I have a Fire/Fire tanker at level 31 that I was hoping to get to 50, but then I realized that they weren't as good as they used to be. But if he can still be very effective in farming, I'd want to continue working on him.
I then have a level 3 Elec/Shield scrapper. Would this be a better choice to level up to eventually farm instead of my Fire/Fire tanker?
I also have a lvl 8 Archery/MM blaster. Would this be a better choice?
My last option is to make a new Shield/? tanker. Any opinions on farming with him?
Remember, I'm just looking for the best farmer.
Thanks! -
Quote:Quick question: What are the best rolls to buy with your tickets in order to get the most money? (Bronze, Silver, or Gold)?Just now. Ran the AE farm 1.5 times. Got around 2100 tix. Results as follows: (xcluding crap rolls)
Kinetic Combat: acc/dam lev 35
Reactive Armor: end/res, rech/res lev 40
Perf. Shifter: proc lev 50
Steadfast: end/res 30
Touch Of Death: acc/dam lev 40
Thunderstrike: acc/dam, acc/dam/rech lev 50
Crushing Impact: acc/dam/end lev 50
Now those aren't purp or pvp recipes but for someone needing a few million inf, it works. Checking crafted prices atm, those range from 5-15 mil. or so. -

Yeah well I'm having a tough time figuring out how I want to make money. I tried farming at -1 x8 on Save the Warrior Clan's Village from Maria Jenkins (I think) and after about 5-6 farms, I got a purple recipe, Gravitational Anchor. I crafted it and am currently selling it for some good money.
But then people were saying how AE farming is good too because you can get the tickets and then get salvage or recipes and then sell them.
I have to pick between farming for purple drops or AE farming, but while I do either one of them, I'm also buying one recipe at a time, crafting it, and then letting it sell for some good profit.
I know it's kind of off-topic, but can anyone help me decide what to do? Regular farming for purple drops or AE farming?
And if anyone could also answer my original question, that'd be appreciated -
I'm just starting to farm on AE missions, and I'm wondering what would be the best salvage or recipe to buy with the tickets I get. I think with the farm I'm doing now, I can get 1600 tickets per run. I know the person who gave me the Arc # said that right after he buys 3 Prophecy salvages, and then sells them for 2 mil each, but I was wondering if there was anything better to buy and then sell for a good profit.
Thanks. -
Quote:That's a good point. I am actually doing this marketeering at WW. But I've been waiting for my enhancement to sell. I'm still trying to find the right recipes to buy, make, and then sell.
EDIT: For instance, I just bought two recipes for 23 million (each), instantly buying them, added 2.5 million of instabought salvage, crafted (.5 million) and listed for 43 million. Last 5 sales are 50-60 million and they're all in the last 24 hours. If I get ONLY what I asked, instead of the 50 million I expect, that's 26 million in, 4.3 million to Mr. Wentworth and 12.7 million profit. I did it twice, so call it 25 million inf in less than 20 minutes' work (with roughly a 24 hour delay for inf delivery.) And that's villainside, where it's relatively hard to make money. -
Okay thanks!
But just to make sure, even if I've had 3 respecs from the Veteran's Rewards, I can still do a respec trial and get a respec? But I might not even have to do it if it tells me whenever I log in that I have one free respec available. -
Quote:Nice. May I ask what the number is for that farm you use so I can try it?i dont even mess around on non AE farms anymore. i do a +2 set to 6 people on my spines/dark scrapper and get around 1600 tickets a run. i turn around and buy 3 prophecy salvages and sell them for 2 mill each and do it again. so thats over 6mill in about 20mins it takes to run that map
easy money.
And if I have my Fire/Kin, what difficulty would be best on AE farms to get the most tickets? -
Quote:I PM'd you for the AE number! Thanks.Or you can still farm in AE. Normal farms (not boss farms) still give good ticket drops and you can hit 1500 per run. 2 runs = a gold roll at level 10 (3000 tix). Or you can choose level 10 bronze rolls (at 60 per roll) and make millions like that as i have this weekend. PM me if you want the AE number.

Hi,
I used the three respecs that were given free in my Veteran's Rewards. I actually need to respec one last time, so can I run a respec trial and get a free one? If I can, where and who do I get the trial from? By the way, I'm level 50. And do I only need to do one mission? Or is it a series of missions?
Just to let you know, whenever I log in, it says that I have 1 Unclaimed Respec available. I typed in '/respec' but it said I didn't have any available and to go see Jack Wolfe.
Thanks! -
Thanks for the helpful advice everyone.
I'm selling my second Crushing Impact (this time it's Acc/Dam/Rech) and I think I'll stick with that one. I'll probably make one at a time and sell one at a time. And when they're selling, I'll go farm at -1 x8 for purple drops. Thanks, I'm already making more money than I ever have! -
Quote:Good points. So you think it would be best to just do one at a time? It could get annoying running back and forth like that. While you can by up a stack of recipes in preparation for crafting and selling, however generally, you don't want to put a whole stack (of the same item) on sale at once. First off, you'll be tying down a lot of Market inventory slots if sales are slow. Second, you're committing to a lot of NON-REFUNDABLE posting fees that you'll lose if you pull the items off if, for example, the price drops way lower than you can expect to sell anytime soon. And third, with a large supply available, buyers will expect to be able to buy at lower prices. Fourth, someone reading this post may want to cut in on your action and underprice you.
If I'm making around 2,000,000 for each IO craft and then sell (and I'm only making them one at a time), would it be better to just forget crafting and just farm at -1 x8 on my Fire/Kin and try to get purple drops and then sell them?
And if I do get a purple drop, should I sell the recipe or should I craft it and then sell it? -
Thanks for all your help guys.
I just bought the recipe and made a Crushing Impact: Acc/Dam/End level 50 IO and I'm selling it at WW. If it sells for 3,000,000 influence, I should be making around 2,109,000 each time I sell one. But my first one is still selling, but hopefully it'll sell soon. Once I get more money, I'll buy stacks of them and make several at once, and sell the whole stack at once, and then go farm at -1 x8.
But after this IO sells, I'm going to try the Crushing Impact: Acc/Dam/Rech level 50 IO. It looks like more people are interested in that one.
What do you think is the best IO to buy for cheap and sell for good profit? As I just mentioned, I'm trying out the Crushing Impacts. I need a cheap one for now because when my first one sells, I'll be resting at 3,000,000 only. So if I make a couple mil each time, it'll slowly build up, plus if I find any purple drops.
Any thoughts? -
Quote:Thanks, but I what are recipes that aren't too expensive, but I can sell for a good profit after I craft them? Because I don't know what I want lol.The easiest thing to do is just say "Self, what do I want?" Chances are pretty good that other people want it as well.
I just want something that isn't too expensive, but will give me a good profit, maybe a couple million each, or even more. -
Quote:Thanks! I'll definitely try out that Halloween salvage trick. How many do I have to buy of each to get 118 million? 99 of each? Or just 10 at a time?-->Market section this way<--
Save money by buying recipes and rolling your own IOs.
Buy recipes, make the IOs and sell them.
Memorize common IO recipes and craft for profit.
Run TFs, buy popular, valuable recipes with the merits, craft and sell.
Lot more tips in the market section. But those are what I do. I don't have a billion yet, but I've purpled out one character, fully IOed most all the rest, and have any where from 100 to 850 mill on each of them.
One final way to make a lot of money in the long term? Buy up Halloween salvage. Spend 50-60k in stacks of 10. Each of your characters can hold 99 of each piece. In 3-4 months, start selling them for around 400k each. Edit: ooops, didn't carry the two... Profit will be 118 million
And what are the popular recipes that I should buy, craft, and then sell? This is probably what I'll do to make a lot of influence. -
I've just started farming a couple weeks ago, and I'm trying to IO out my level 50 Fire/Kin. I'm getting around 10-12 million influence after about 3-4 runs (I farm the Council...Close the Dimensional Ruptures). Then I buy a couple of IOs and I'm broke again. I see other people have hundreds of millions or even billions. I'm just getting used to farming, but I'm wondering how everyone gets so rich!
I know people said that they street fight on the streets of PI and they get a purple drop and then sell those. Is this true? Will any level 50 on the streets in Peregrine Island occasionally drop a purple that I could sell?
Thanks! -
Here's the build I'm currently working on getting. Not all of the IOs are the same right now, but I'm farming right now to try to get enough influence to get all of the IOs.

I have a level 50 Fire/Kin that I'm just starting to farm with. I took a respec and went with the Earth ancillary instead of the Fire, which is what I had before. I'm thinking that I should make good use of dual builds, so would it be a good idea to take the same exact build except change it to the Fire ancillary pool? This way I could switch between the Earth and Fire pools depending on the situations or what I feel like having.
If you have another idea of how to make a better second build, please let me know! -
Thanks guys. Even though it's really early, I'm going to respec so I can get out of the Fitness pool. The build is tight enough to waste a power on that if I really don't need it. I made a build for myself (doesn't have the IOs yet) using both of your builds to help me out. Thanks a lot!
