  1. I want a sniper power set. In general a gun set focused on single targets primarly. Never liked the fact they give you a sniper rifle for weapon customization but nothing really snipe orianted and I would rather not butcher Assualt Rifle so I could have my sniper.

    Anyway...

If apparently we must have fancy shamancy animations. You could do it with the way the bullets travel/animate with the shotgun. FlameThrower ish weapon same way.

If anything, the only reason I know there wouldn't be a sniper set is because it would hard to think of that many animiations for point and shoot.

For a bit of extra honesty, while I will admit that Dual Pistols is cool... those animations actualy put me off the set. I'll watch others play it but a lot of that movement is just annoying/needless to me.
  2. This one wishes to see Sniper Rifle powerset.

This one feels that simply having a sniper rifle as a costumizable weapon does nothing towards the want to create a sniper.

This one simply wants a set designed on picking off enemies one by one at a distance with the need of having to butcher an existing powerset just to get a weaker result.

This one does not know why this one is refering to this one's self as this one. This one may just be tired right now.
Regardless, this one always wanted a sniper set but has been disapointed in not having one.
  3. There are several factions in this game. What if each faction had a power pool you could gain access to in the course of the game. Gain signature or unique powers linking you with the group you have allied yourself with.

Now these would have to limited and balanced in some way number wise as there tend to be far more villians then heroes. Still, if you could pick one (or two) factions to have as an ally, you could learn secrets.

Naming a few off the top of my head:
Heroic Alliances - Longbow, Paragon Police Department, Lagacy Chain
Villian Alliances - Circle of Thorn, Crey, Malta
Neutral (I guess) Alliances - Rikti

If I recall, there is a faction of Rikti that want peace so I guess that could be a neutral group in a mannor of speaking.

Anyway, Alliances share powers with you and take it a step further, story arcs and/or missions.

Replacement for the one I took it down. Same idea... I fixed what was bugging the crap out of me. I didn't if you had a topic specificly for group sessions but I'd figure this would be something better suited for a group effort. The last Mission features two AV fights.

Widow Tower usualy has Ghost Widow hanging around it.
Is/Are there any places that generaly have some other signature figure hanging around it?

I'm specificly looking for some palce that Lord Recluse hangs around that's not the destroyed Atlas Park.
  6. All well deserved support. I can here people cheering in the background.

    The Dress Code

I'd like to see this one personaly...
  8. I almost missed that... they actualy did have a survey with this question in it?

How big of a storm did that cause?

We have those now. Though the inexperianced would be replaced by "How in the 'L' did you manage to get so far?"
  10. I'd hate to say it but that would be one way to both make extra cash and possibly drive off 'money' sellers and 'paid' power levels.

There are after all those free games who do the 'special' money for real money to get those rare 'can't get without special money' items.

I'd rather not put my pocket money where my game is outside what we already got but there are some who would pay more to get extra 'offered' services.

  13. Between all the powers between the two sets. Team and solo wise, what is/are the most skipable powers?

looking at the sets on my own when considering teaming, I am considering Grant cover but that is based on not knowing what it does. By the looks of it I gain little from it. What does everyone else get?
  14. Why do I suddenly want to say it was a corprat assassination plot?

Anyway.... I am actualy curious. When have they been said to be underpowered?

You miss out on a lot when you can't play for months at a time.

  17. You know, I get that same useless feeling when I team using Assualt Rifle.

It's that feeling that everyone is moeing stuff down and you are just there puttering along.

My word of advice, think about why you chose the powers, then why you think they are fun, then ask yourself, would it be worth giving up for the 'flashier' side of the fense.

Then after you've made the new character, you will go back to the claws and they will welcome you with open arms. Now you will know, the other side of the fense isn't much better. It's just diffrent. You then happly make up and everything is right as rain again.

Course I could have slightly lost my hold of sanity on the last bit of that but I'm sure the message is in there.
  18. I have two thoughts since watching people run around with the Pistols.

    1. Looks awesome if a bit flashy.
    2. Can we at least pick better initials or short form name for the power set. Being the adult human that I am... those two letters keep pointing my mind towards the gutter. I can almost imagion the comments and puns that will be poping up.
  19. Far as my understanding of poison goes. It's awesome debuff set. Espcialy great for horribly weakening single strong targets till 38 when you can slap a debuff centered on a pet into a crowd.

That said, leveling up the set is a pain and a half because it will suck down endurance like water and if you are using the sole heal, water in a desert. Surviving the difficulty of keeping my endurance up till I could slot and pick up powers for it is what made Poison a hard set for me.
  20. I tis currently running Merc/Pain Mastermind. I wonder, will Challenge and/or Provoke make things easier or harder while running solo.

As an added note, This is assuming using Single Orign Enhancements. I don't have the kind of luck most people have with IO's so talking about getting certian set pieces are kind of useless with me.
  21. A question of sorts.
The Looking For flags just not used? / A waste of time?

During a moment of random curiosity and watching the same person broadcast they were looking for a team 9 times in five or so minutes I looked at the search to see if he had a flag going. I got nothing. I checked all the flags including 'Do Not Accept Invites' and hit search. There were 11.

A full-ish search pointed out over 300. Not that it shows all of them but over 300 poping up on the search and just 11 using the flags?

Are they really that much of a lost cause?
  22. Well nuts... Another back burner power then.
I never base anything off of the IO's primarly because of the slim likely hood of ever getting them is too low to use a bases. And I honestly have very little reason to play any character that actualy manages to make level 50 so planning things that high is useless.

Thanks anyway... Gotta figure out what power will be more useful to me at the moment.
  23. I heard it was murdered...
Is it dead or still workable/usable?
