Hey all I'll be theOcho this week,
Welcome to Creative Caption Craziness -- a fun weekly forum game. Every Friday, we’ll post up a new pic for you to write your most creative caption for. You’ll have until 5:00pm Pacific to post it, then the judging will commence. The winner will receive the forum title of “Caption Champ [date]” and the Costume Code of his/her choice from one of the following:
- Carnival of Shadows Harlequin
- Freakshow Tank Boss
- Paragon Police Department Hardsuit
- Carnival of Shadows Ring Mistress
- Knives of Artemis Lt.
- Praetorian Clockwork
The winning entry will be re-posted in the thread (along with the author’s name), as well as in a thread we will create consisting ONLY of the winning entries as they are picked, so that people can see all the winners at a glance if they want to. It will be your chance to achieve some small measure of forum immortality!

2) Your reply must contain a single caption to the picture posted in the thread. Entries with more than 1 caption will be disqualified.

The live North American and European servers will be unavailable for their weekly maintenance tomorrow, Thursday, March 18th, 2010 and a new build will also be implemented during this maintenance.

Welcome to our "Search the words, save the world" forum mission!
A super computer turned evil codenamed Ebil-o is attempting to take over our most powerful nations' computer systems and exterminate us puny human beings (how original, huh?). However, every week, a short window of opportunity allows us to break into Ebil-o's matrix and reset the timer leading to our undoubtedly apocalyptic end!
How do we do that, I hear you ask? Well, we happen to have an anonymous little helper and each week, he or she snail mails us a word search puzzle containing anywhere between 5 (five) and 10 (ten) words related to City of Heroes related theme (Ebil-o likes City of Heroes; apparently, it helps him unwind after a long day hard at work planning to get rid of humanity).
Each week a new theme will be passed along and you will need to find the exact number of words youre being told exists within the block of letters you are given.
Your opportunity to save us all is through a word block located at the bottom of this post.
The goal is to be the first one to find the words based on the theme (without being told what they are), circle them in the word block (using Paint or an equivalent program) and then list them below it.
If you are the first one to answer with the correct words, you win and only then will we be able to input the words into Ebil-o's matrix, thus delaying our impending doom. As a token of our gratitude, we'll give you the "Ebil-o FTL [date]" forum title as well as 1 (one) costume code amongst the following ones:

-After reading the feedback from previous "Search the Words, Save the World" puzzles, I have made a few changes to how this will work and removed the failsafe.
- Note that if a word includes more than 1 word, they will run together in the puzzle. Example - Envoy of Shadows would be found in the puzzle as ENVOYOFSHADOWS
If there is not a winner by the end of the day, I will post the solution.

Bon ce n'est pas tout ça, le décalage horaire se fait sentir et le travail n'attend pas ! -
Le départ St Michel, je vois où c'est ! On peut se rencontrer sur le parvis de Notre Dame à 16h00 et bouger vers le Départ St Michel vers 16h30. Ceux qui ne peuvent pas se libérer en après-midi pourraient nous y retrouver par la suite. Pour me retrouver dans la foule, facile. Cherchez la plus grande asperge portant un pantalon blanc. A demain !

A priori seuls les Parisiens pourront me retrouver donc je vous propose ceci. Je passerai le plus clair de mon temps a l'hôpital qui se situe en face de Notre Dame (pas pour moi). On me dit que le parvis de Notre Dame est facile d'accès donc si certains le peuvent je passerai quelques heures à lire mon bouquin sur ce même parvis mardi 2 mars, vers 16h00. Rejoindre certains d'entre vous par la suite si vous me donnez une adresse devrait être aisé.

Certains d'entre vous le savent déjà, je serai à Paris la semaine prochaine du lundi au jeudi et je me ferai un plaisir de retrouver ceux qui y vivent si cela vous tente. Je n'y serai qu'officieusement mais je garde d'excellents souvenirs de ma dernière rencontre avec certains d'entre vous et je ne voulais pas râter une autre occasion si celle-ci devait se présenter lorsque je m'y trouve.
Quelqu'un a des suggestions pour le 2 mars (en journée et/ ou en soirée) aux alentours des Champs Elysées ? Je ne connais pas bien Paris donc toute suggestion serait appréciée.

Screenshot the Spot!
How well do you know your City of Heroes/Villains locations?
Hello, hello and welcome to Niviene's...Oops scratch that, I meant Avatea's Screenshot the Spot forum game where every Wednesday until 4pm Pacific Time (7:00 PM Eastern Time / 12:00 PM GMT / 1:00 Central European Time) you can win your choice of a costume code from past Con seasons and the Forum Title "Screenshot Spotter [date]".
The object of this game is to be the first to 1). Figure out the location in-game depicted in the screenshot and 2). Post a screenshot that is closest to the one I have posted , with your own character in the place of Niviene. Sounds easy right? Well there's a catch. The location isn't going to be as obvious as you might think so make sure you pay close attention to the picture details and hints.
The Pictures will start out masked and more and more of the image will be revealed as time goes on as long as no one has correctly identified the location by posting their own screenshot. If by the end of the day no one has identified the location, the full picture will be revealed and no one will win for that week (BOOOOOOO!).

1. Your post must contain a screenshot of the location depicted in the initial contest post, but with your character in the place of Niviene
2. Screenshots must remain less than 800px X 500px to qualify.
