    Is The Reason Everythings Getting Hit With The Nerf Bat Simply Because Its Easier For The Devs To Bring The Few Good Power Sets Down A Notch, Rather Then Buffing The Many Sets That Struggle With Game Play?

    I'm Only Asking To See If Its Just Me That Feels That Half The Sets That Have Been Tampered With For The Worse And Also The Sets That Rumors Of "DOOM" Are Flying Around About, Really DONT NEED TO BE TAMPERED WITH AT ALL! Caps Intended.

    Ok Take Brutes For Example For A Long Time We've Had The Big Bad 3 (SS,SM and EM) I've Experienced all 3 of these magical sets in the hands of a brute and it feels like this is the way the archetype was meant to be played. But obviously instead of bringing the other sets the brute has to offer up to the standard of these 3 its become accustom to bring these 3 down a notch so they don't feel as super powered. the last 2 words of that sentence hurts me inside, because WE ARE MEANT TO BE SUPER POWERED now i know i chose brutes to get my point across but it isn't just them! its happening all across COX on practically all archetypes

    But anyway i would appreciate it if anyone could tell me they felt the same way or perhaps give me an explanation as to why this is happening and prove me wrong

  5. At the moment I have a 50 Broadsword/Regeneration, 50 Claws/Regeneration, 50 Dual Blades/Willpower, and I'm levelling a Fiery Melee/Regeneration. I've also tried any and all other combinations :P

    Larac, you have a good point, I hadn't seen that the Health in those regeneration powers was so poorly done.

    Don't dare take an AoE power when you're Energy Melee. EM is all about whopping the [censored] out of one enemy at a time - you'd better have one dead enemy than three enemies at half health.
  9. It's doable but highly unrecommended.
  10. Pyro Inferno, that surprises me! I have always found Barrage coupled with Energy Punch and a bit of +recharge to be a continuous wave of ouch on the enemy. Always builds up my Fury in seconds!

    1) Spam Barrage and Energy Punch/Boxing on a strong opponent and surround yourself with at least six enemies.
    2) I personally went for 3xDamage, 2xAccuracy and 1xRechRedux or 1xEndRedux. I found my Endurance to be quite good, so I didn't need EndRedux much.
    3) The build looks pretty good, actually! Can't say I see something to complain about. Good job D

    I don't have Nimble Slash anymore on both my Brute or my Scrapper, so all I can do is Attack Vitals and Sweep.
    I usually do this:

    Blinding Feint &gt; Attack Vitals &gt; Blinding Feint &gt; Sweep &gt; Blinding Feint &gt; Attack Vitals etc. Takes care of mobs quick enough.

  18. Attack Vitals is the closest you'll get to a single target combo.
    I've levelled two Dual Blades toons so far and from my experience, Attack Vitals combo is best for taking out bosses/elite bosses and the likes.

    I was talking about all four of the purple IO damage sets. One for single target melee attacks (Hecatomb), the PBAoE set (Armageddon), the single target ranged set (Apocalypse) and the ranged AoE set (Ragnarok).

    And yes, all the purple IO's are unique, but that simply means you can't have more than one of the same IO. So, for example, you have Hecatomb: Damage on Sting of the Wasp. That means you can't slot a Hecatomb: Damage on Gambler's Cut, because you already have that IO in your build. You can still slot other IO's, of course
