  2. well ....crap... I have to figure out what to drop...

    Thanx
  3. Would it just be better to limit each team to not have more that 2 of the same AT's and same powersets per team? I would not mind having multiple of the same powersets; however I can see ho some people would not like a 2 emp defender, 2 emp troller, 2 thermal corruptor, and 2 thermal troller team.

Lucky is for AoE defense and in PvP AoE is not used as much as melee or single target range damage.

Elude is the reason I am selected SR since banes dont have a tier 9 power in the secondary.
  6. Invis and Phase are 2 droppable powers since I will have elude. I dont want to get crowed control since it is a cone and does weaker damage; however I can see myself getting clobber.
  7. Wow...my bad ... I didnt know I copied the long version..
  8. I love to play my bane so much in PvP; however the lack of a tier 9 and escape power made me think of creating a brute as close to a bane as possible for PvP. Tell em what you think and how can I make this build better or will it be a waste of time.

  9. I just began PvPing on my mind/energy/mako dom and I was wondering how people begin the attack chain. I have been starting with Dominate + Mez + Confuse + Power Burst + Power Bolt + Power Push +Total Focus... Well I think my problem is my timing on the total focus because most of the times I died I was stuck in the TF animation. My question is should I keep TF and use it sooner? Drop TF and pick up Bone Smasher? Drop TF all together?

I do like the TK + Snipe + TF combo; however I seem to have trouble placing TK at the right time.

If anyone has some Attack chain advice I would like to hear it and if anyone has a good PvP build would help too.
  10. I was in RV a few days ago and I was on my Dom and dueled a DM/SD scrapper. After his first couple of attacks I was not able to hit him any more and I died. I told him I will be back and got my EM/WP/Mace brute with Focus accuracy and he has 49% in accuracy bonus and the same thing happen... I was not able to hit him after a few hits. After this event I pulled my DM/SD/Soul brute off the shelf and want to do a PvP build. Does anyone have a good build I can use for ideas?

I logged onto a hero and looked at his build and seen that he has Speed, Leaping, Fitness and Fighting power pools. The cool thing about it is that I am a 60 month vent and dont need to get Combat jump.

    Thanks for the help..

P.S. I am looking for a Dueling Build and Zone Build (Teams only) and maybe some kickball, etc....
  11. Would it to weird to make banes defense and resist powers slottable for both to help? For example I want an all Defense build I would be able to slot the auto resist powers with defense and I would be able to do the same with the resist. Slotting Combat Manuvers with resist to increase the over all resist of the AT and even give team members a slight Resist buff.
  12. Has anyone ever talked about going to a PvP zone with all tankers on Freedom. I know this is a Champion thing for the awesome gathering of Meat Shields, but I just think it would Rock to see this happen. I dont know how busy Champs PvP zones are so I was wondering. Or even have a Melee Monday on Champion when all Melee AT's (Tankers, Scrappers, Brutes, Stalkers) do a 8 vs 8 kick ball event. I would even allow HEATs and VEATs.

    Bane or Crab?

I am a big fan of the Banes for PvP... What would u guys pick for Power pools? I seen some with Phase Shift or Aid Self or even Tough. Is an escape (Phase)on a bane built for high HP needed?

    Justice PvP

Don't laugh, but I come from Triumph server and I used to enjoy PvPing over there. I always thought of Triumph PvP as Quality PvP and Freedom as Quanity PvP. PvP in zones on Freedom is like playing Whack-A-Mole; however if you are looking for a challenge then arena is where its at on Freedom. Most of the good PvPers moved to Freedom and I moved my toons over as well since its hard to PvP solo. When I left Triumph with my PvP toons there was 46 heroes logged on unhidden and when I arrived on Freedom there was 517 heroes logged on and unhidden. There was almost as many people in RV on Freedom than my whole server of Triumph.

If you like to PvP in Zone, Arena, Fight Club, etc.. then move to Freedom.

FYI ... If you fight club in zone you WILL get killed by other players watching, so take it to the arena and pick the Atlas make and fight club under the globe...lol

I think you went for too much Regen and your attacks are no where near proc'ed enough. Each attack can easily take the lady grey and shield breaker procs, if you can afford them the apoc and gladiators Jav procs are nice too. I'd go for at least 2 procs per attack. NB you could go for three. (Ideally Apoc/Jav/Lady Grey)

Also, two things if you are going for support role, first two target heals could use one to two ranges in them. Second, need to actually put some travel speed into your travel powers if you ever hope to catch up to anyone to heal them. And finally skip the Rez/Boxing/Tough/Weave, get Acro and an escape power (phase/Hiber)

*edit* Dang Dr. F beat me to it. :P
Most of the time I read someones post about a build and give some more input; however these ideas are exactly what i did with my rad/pain/soul corr. You will have fun playing it and even surprise people in 1 vs 1 duels.
  18. Thanks for the info....

P.S. Are all the Fite Clubbers Regen Scrappers?

    I dont want a drainer....lol

I dont want to be drained ...:P

Would a Elec/SS tanker be better for PvP?

I use Invis + Shadow Meld as a second Phase... It works really well in RV, but I have Phaseshift for when I am really in a crunch.

I like it that I can just stand there next to a therm and they can do a little sapping to my end, but it will still be manageable.
  25. I was thinking of something like this... Let me know what to drop and what to use.

(FYI- I got my 60 month badge and I dont need combat jump) I will slot for Knockback since I dont have any while jumping.
