I am intrigued with Dinah's concept and mulling over rolling something to join her....I probably will name it "Prejudice" to keep it short and sweet. I was thinking "Extreme Prejudice" but felt it too wordy for a toon name. The group name, maybe...

I need help.
I could go on a rant about how I feel they should do a name purge of all account who haven't been active for years, but I'll skip that.
I have a concept for a character who is a Deathstroke / Taskmaster type character. But I can't find a name to use for him. I want to spend my time playing the game, not hours pressing the "Check Name" button.
The name can not be tied to a power set (such as "gun guy"), as the concept is a "contractor" who is proficient in the use of many weapons, allowing me to play this character as a Shield Tank, Dual Blades Scraper, Claws Stalker or Gun Corrupter. This character is a villain!
I am interested in single word names, or combinations that make sense. I do not want "obscure" words, I want people to understand the character immediate when seeing his moniker.
Are you sitting on a good name that you aren't really using? I have many good names to trade.
I thank you all for your help. (Please Please Please before suggesting any names, check to see if it is available! I hate to get my hopes up)
Also, this character will have a "crew". A team of mercenaries who kidnap, steal or kill for a hefty price. If you are interest in rolling a new villain and joining me, I would LOVE the company. Too many goodie-two-shoes on this server, it is time to rock the boat! -

My Favorite, it made me lose it...
16:40:21 [Broadcast] Shamyra: Take this! Eventually!
I actually was really impressed with the originality of the players and their taunts....it didn't end up a steam of cussin and unoriginal claptrap. Bravo! -

Sorry for the UI Clutter, I wanted to capture it quickly before the text scrolled away.

Quote:The devs already said the next Trial goes into closed beta this month, so that's probably true.I'd put my money on a Praetorian Hamidon Raid or Trial. Soon™.
As far as the Praetorian Hami Raid...I am interested in seeing a Well of the Furies powered Hamidon....
I mean, look at it this way from an in game consistency model. After seeing the invasion this week, and the sheer amount of resources at Cole's disposal, and yet, Hami has pushed him back to the equivalent of 3 cities of space on his version of Earth? Praetorian Hami would kick our Hami's buttinski twice on Sunday and come back Monday for another heaping of beat down. -
From an Earthguard perspective, there is no SG edict about Hamidon raids, our players either do them, or not on a personal choice. Sometimes the whim hits us and sometimes it doesn't.
As far as other things, as a person who has raided from the first strategy that Marut designed and was often a targetter, the issue primarily is that we have shiny new stuff and the raids are no longer the only game in town. I would also echo AmyG's sentiment of lag sometimes affecting things. Maybe a new strategy or finding means of doing the raid differently would attract people back?
As far as server drama, whenever you get a bunch of people together, some will agree and some will disagree, however, I see this group of people on the server to be much better than in past times. Dual boxing a raid might be a bit much especially on a full one, but if the extra toon is needed to get it underway/completed, then maybe that's ok? I don't know.
I think the more we cling to and talk about being the drama server, the longer the stigma sticks....if we just move forward and try to be reasonable with each other, we might leave that behind. -
Maybe it was the lack of difficulty that was the reason for the post, Kaz?

Which is why we in EG have spent time focusing and preserving the concept of the strong SG. We have always believed that knowing what your teammate does in battle is more important than how uber the individuals are. A good group who instinctively knows how the rest of the team/league is going to react to a situation is a benefit that cannot be measured.

This badge took more than a few attempts, and you'll know very quickly whether or not you're going to be successful. You don't get a chance to catch up if your dps lags or the damage dips because it's a slow crawl on the health bar for him. Keep hitting him hard all of the time or you won't do it.

Thanks all! Was a great time...
@Turgenev good luck...bring lots 'o debuffs -
In my exuberance over finally completing this very difficult badge, I spelled it incorrectly.
However, even so....On April 16, 2011 @10:52pm, Earthguard (with help from Synchnotron) completed the Master of Lambda run. A good time was had by all.

At 9:30pm est 04/05/2011, Earthguard completed the Lamda Trial on Champion with a team of 15 members. Alot of fun was had by all, although we had a nail biting moment when we ran out of Pacification Grenades and Maurader was still standing. Thankfully he was about 15% health at that point. Getting the Acids and closing down the portals early is a VERY important component on completing it smoothly.

Earthguard will be organizing one soon for people who want to do one. I hope to have something more concrete early next week.

Guessing they are patching it right now, so that's a great turnaround time for this bug.

Blackguard is the evil twin of the Earthguard.
