We were just starting a Hami raid, and I map served. Can't get that character, or any other, back on. The character I was on says she's still logging out, and the others say "no map found."
Figures this would happen when I go to my first Hami in months. -
Quote:When I heard about this tonight in TA, I thought it was a joke. I'm glad I was wrong.I used to play this a long time ago.
I played largely on Justice and posted in the Justice forums as well as general discussion, blasters, suggestions and sundry.
I'm back and trying to get in touch with some of the folks that I played with a number of years ago.
The Legendary Living Hellfire flies again!
Now stop leaving. -
I'll be home that night. Think I'll come lend a hand.

Grats on your badges! I'm also glad to hear that Velara finally got her Avoids the Green Stuff badge. We got very close to getting it twice, but didn't quite make it.
I have all the badges in game that I can earn of my own volition. I've submitted several bugs for Bug Hunter (no luck), and have no way to get my vet rewards faster. Nor do I have access to Passport. *le sigh* -
I'm glad to see some local-to-me CoH action happening, but I'm going to be in Philadelphia that weekend. I really hate that they moved Origins this year.

I view Dominators more like fancy Blasters than Controllers. Yes, they can lock stuff down very effectively, but their attacks are also awesome. Especially since they got Rain of Fire and Fireball in the epic pools. Carrion Creepers + Vines + Rain of Fire + Fireball = Yes please.

Now that I've read this post, I want to change my mind. >.>
Arwen is my badger, but she has these badges. I just signed her up because I thought we *had* to do one of each - damage and support. I would like to get the badges with Chthonic Embers, but I have other support characters for the other run. Also, I take great exception to you listing Dominators as support.I could bring:
Luna Witch - Grav/Kin Controller
Acid Raine - Rad/Rad Corruptor
Flowering Inferno - Plant/Fire Dominator
Zinzanni - Demons/Poison MM
Celestial Lotus - Invuln/SS Tanker
Also, Chthonic Embers is Fire/Dark. Looks like I need to fire my secretary. -

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! -
These things are cool, but they are GIANT SPOILERS for people who haven't run the arcs yet.

I met Muad at Hero Con 2008, and he was a really funny guy. I'm quite sad to hear this news. My condolences to all who were close to him.

LOL! I had forgotten about that.

I really appreciate you guys doing this, and bringing back the Hero Con style event. I attended both Hero Cons and had a great time.
But like so many others, I just can't make it from Ohio on such short notice. I understand you ran into problems, so not blaming, just expressing my disappointment in having to miss it.
Also I just want to say, as a midwesterner, I get so sick and tired of all the "Why aren't you coming to my back yard?" wank every time you guys announce that you're going somewhere or hosting something. It only makes sense that this would be hosted where Paragon Studios does business, and that happens to be northern California. I can't believe the audacity it takes to think it's reasonable or even fair for Paragon Studios to ship all of their employees, equipment, and swag (and Hero Con had the nicest swag) to some out of the way place because one person can't be bothered to save up for a plane ticket (granted this time there isn't time to save up, but this applies to other times as well). I'm starting to think that people will only be happy when you come to each of our homes personally, sit at our kitchen tables, and tell us what you're going to do with the game.
And if you do, come to mine first. I make cheesecake.
Edit - Oh my. This is my first post after a redname. I don't know what to do! -

It's too short a notice for me to make it a go. Shame, too, as I (mostly) enjoyed HeroCon when they had it.

Quote:That's essentially how I feel - VIP accounts should be as they were before. I don't mind that we have a cash shop, or that we have microtransactions. I just don't think VIP subscriptions should have to use it/them. I see I'm clearly in the minority, so this "drama queen" will stop now.* If they lower it to the point that I can just afford things with my monthly stipend of points then it's no longer a money grab, but it would somewhat devalue having moved to a microtransaction model. The model would make sense for Premium accounts, but VIP ones would pretty much be what they always were before.
And for the record, I bought every paid expansion to the game. Bought the collector's editions even (I like the swag). But if every week we're going to have a mini version of a paid expansion, I think that's a bit much. The shiny will wear off that coin pretty quick at this pace.
