Thanks for organizing the run last night, Mind.
Good fun, under 2 hours and we got our fill of beating on Lord Recluse and his minions.
Looking forward to future strike runs with great players such as the team that we had last night. -
Fire Blaster it is for the run, got the Well yesterday, now gonna work on the badges =)
See you this evening! -
Count me in for Thursday at 9PM EST (8PM CST).
I'll be home in plenty of time and I will be picking up some pizza or Chinese food so that I don't have to be cooking. -
Scratch me off for tonight, I just got home a moment ago and I need to cook and do some chores around the house, but if you do run it on Thursday at 8PM, that would be a bit better for me.
Sorry for such a late notice, I reckon you won't have a problem filling the spot! -
@Mind_Over_Matter: Will this be a regular run or a speed run. Reason being is that I am in the EST zone and it is a later than usual start time for me and if it's a speed run, I can stay up for a couple of hours, but if it's a regular run, I don't think I can last. If it's a speed run, count me in @Armeros (fire blaster x 3). If not, I guess I can catch on any number of runs earlier in the evening.
@Carnada: Good question, and I have no idea....guess once someone completes the TF/SF, it might show up on the badge list. *crosses fingers*
EDIT, here is the info:

February 1-7
Statesman's TF / Lord Recluse SF
Every week, we will announce one Task Force and one Strike Force (or instead one Co-Op Task Force) that will give increased rewards for that week. The first time a character completes the Weekly Strike Target in the week, they receive double merits and a bunch of additional XP. Even if you “go rogue” and do the other side’s Weekly Strike Target as well, you’ll only get that reward for your first in a given week. After running it once, your character can earn progress toward some brand new badges for helping others by running it as many times as you like. Of course, you can run the WST on as many characters as you have the inclination for and get the increased rewards on each. The Weekly Strike Target will change every Tuesday morning. -
A lot of metal/hard rock.
I am more of a new wave/new romantic/hair metal kinda person, and while I do love my 80's music, I am always open to getting into new grooves.
Recently, I have been listening to the new Mr. Big album, "What If" and the first single "Undertow", which kicks some serious butt.
What I listen to is based on my mood. So, one day I could jam out to the Cars and the next it's Nine Inch Nails or the Rolling Stones "Paint It Black", it endless.
When I have a little more time, I will go through my library and pull out some songs.
EDIT - also looking forward to the new Robbie Robertson album in April. I love his solo stuff. Also, Black Dub has their debut album out and it's groovy! -
Went ahead and added this to the events page on the Guardian server page on Facebook.

Thank you for organizing this weekly Rikti run. -
Omega, have you made a decision in regards to the raid on Sunday. Since you did mention it was tentative due to the Super Bowl.
-
The start of a new month and our group has grown by one person this past month. We now stand at 196 members. Hopefully, we can crack the 200 barrier this month. Looking forward to keeping folks updated on events and other in-game happenings during this coming month and beyond.
Next update, March 1st! -
I was working a Nautical Flea Market so I got to work on my tan (and some much needed Vitamin D).
Got my sonic/emp defender up from 46 to 47 (yay level 50 enhancements)
Got my dual pistols/mental blaster from 13 to 17.
Wish I had more time to do more, but I was dog beat on both Saturday and Sunday and while I did get online to play, I really did not have the energy or focus to play for an extended period.
Hope everyone was able to get stuff accomplished! -
Quote:There are certain posts that are sticky-ed that really don't need to be there. Nothing personal to the "biggest loser" weight loss post, but in terms of the game, that might not be a forum post that requires a sticky. Just a suggestion. An added note to the moderator - If it is a matter of having too many sticky-ed posts already, I would kindly request that we swap out this post for the one containing the CoP Guide. Most people I've talked to prefer this scorecard. And the guide is referenced and linked within this post.
EDIT - also, the PERC sticky which no one has updated in 6 months now (which is kinda sad). -
Good luck in your educational endeavors.
May your cupcakes be moist and yummy and may your cakes never go *poof*
All the best to ya! -
It was a fun run (for my first) and Severe did a great job in coordinating and for all of us to stay with it after the initial difficulties.
Thanks again, Severe.
Oh, and finally....
*pokes LadyWillow*
*runs off* -
Indeed, Severe did a great job in coordinating this public run.
For my first time, it was fun (and a little frustrating) in terms of lag and just not doing anything to screw things up. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to any other future public Hami runs. -
You can scratch the Kahn off the list, Capa.
All I have left to get is the STF and Apex/Tin Mage Mo's.
Also, weekends are better for me (due to work).
If it happens, great. I can understand being burnt out in regards to running these Mo's.
Thanks again for helping get all the ones I currently have -
I have never been on a Hami raid before, but...if you need a blaster (2nd alpha) or my dark x 3 defender, I would gladly come out and participate (depending on date/time).
-
Any chance I can get an invite to this channel, please?
Thank you. -
What zone will host the fight night?
Hopefully you will get a good turnout. -
-
Scratch off the Kahn, thanks to LadyWillow and Capa.
All I need now is the STF and Apex/Tin Mage, then finally I can take Armeros to the redside. -
Not yet for the most recent one, mousedroid.
Send a PM to @Omega Shockwave. Usually, the forum topic is up a couple of days prior to the event. -

A few hours early for the monthly update, but since I am DJing the New Year's party here at my in-laws house in Colombia (and these Colombians can party), I thought I would post this before the party kicks it in high gear!
Our community continues to grow steadily and as of this moment, we have 194 members in the Guardian Facebook page. A net increase of +6!!! Remember to go the discussion area and introduce yourself in the "Identify Yourselves" post. Feel free to post any events, TF/SF/Trials, etc.
EDIT - add 1 more to the list, the group is now up to 195 (a net increase of +7)!!!
Thank you to those new members who have come along for the ride and I look forward to making the Guardian Facebook page a home away from home from the forums and the game.
Happy New Year to you all!!
Next update on 2/1/2011 -
