Yeah, don't review my arc please. I'm ok with criticism (it's part of my RL job) but if you aren't gonna pay attention to the arc itself, then please count me out. Thank you.

Mission 5: Something made all the marines into Elite Boss Admiral Ayala.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.. and I was afraid of this.
I'm super glad you enjoyed yourself, but I'm going to see what I can do about fixing that up.
EDIT: Fixed. Thanks a ton. The problem is that it refused to let me place them without a custom character.. I was just hoping she was high enough that she wouldn't spawn, and I didn't have room for any other customs. That may have been the patrol (that didn't let me place), which I have since taken out. I don't know really, but it shouldn't happen anymore
EDIT: Now that I've put that fire out... going to address a few of your concerns
Ok, thanks for helping with the typosDr. Sing uses an NPC called Dr. Crow.. At the time I was literally at 100% and couldn't give her a new description. I was able to do that now though
The Earth Federation Marines are all non-robotic Malta. Those battles can go either way, they're fairly evenly matched from what I've seen.
I don't use mission titles because they ALWAYS break my immersion. I hate that the devs use them TBH.
The Arusians in the caves in the first mission is more of a consequence of that map acting stupid and not doing what I want it to. Since the one Arusian Civilian that talks mentions that they need to get to a safe place, you could say that they are trying to get to the command bunker. I'll see about altering the line of that one civilian thoughI Also haven't gotten the second computer in that mission to spawn in the back room like it should..
Anyways a lot of the other stuff you mentioned is really just limitations in the MA.
Like you said, I'm really glad you enjoyed yourself, and I appreciate the feedback, helps me improve this a lot -

I want my badges and Supergroup to function like my enhancements and trays on multiple builds - When I switch to a villain, I lose all my hero badges and stop being a member of the Supergroup. When I switch back to hero, I lose my villain badges and Villain group, but get my hero badges and supergroup back.
[/ QUOTE ]
At least in terms of badges, this is what I was hoping for too, and it would certainly make the most sense. -
I will check yours out late tonight or tomorrow morning
-
I will give it a try later tonight, starting LGTF and then gonna do my friend's MArc
But I will definitely see what I can do... -
Yeah someone did it to this thread and to the arc in game. Someone doesn't like me. [censored] [censored].
I had 2 five stars, and then 1 vote later, it was 3 starred. So someone 0 starred me. I'm being griefed. -

Yeah, Astral Form came logged into Pinnacle, and he sent me a tell to invite him.
He joined me in the lair, we flew around and he managed to help me find him.
Seems he was in a corner behind two guards.
I guess with their brown robes, and my graphics having to be turned down a bit for my computer/connection, I must have flow by them more times then I can count.
I have got to say I am happy to know my money is well invested in this game.
If he is an example of the community in CoH and how helpful people are, I am quite happy to be here!
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, this community disagrees on things a lot, but overall, when it comes down to it, the vast majority are a bunch of nice, welcoming, helpful people
Enjoy your stay.

*sigh*
why are you ignoring me? Are my missions not good enough?

I think the way the thread works is that you quote the appropriate list and put yours into it at the bottom of the appropriate category, using the same syntax as the other missions in the list. Then, remove the [quote ] [/quote ] tags, so it doesn't look like a quoted post.
That's how I did mine because it seems to be what everyone else has been doing. Just make sure your mission is added in the proper section according to what the mission is about.

Arc Name: Assault on Aru Prime
Arc ID: 174586
Faction: Villainous (Cold-hearted bastage style evil, nothing campy about this)
Creator Global/Forum Name: @Aisynia
Difficulty Level: Moderate to hard, depending on difficulty. All enemies are custom. Several bosses and EBs, but no AVs. These will get downgraded to LTs and Bosses on minimum difficulty.
Synopsis: [SMFA SCMA MWMA] Aru Prime is a neutral world, but it has something the Earth Federation needs to win the war against the Azeri Alliance (which they invaded). Your mission: Take it by any means necessary.
[/ QUOTE ]
Mission 1: ***** I can tell this is giong to be a bit story heavy already, but it's good. The custom enemies were simple, but enjoyable. The mission was a big easy, but still good.
Mission 2: **** I'm liking how this is starting to really get evil, but it's not too evil. The mission was a bit longer, and also a bit more of a challenge, but overall i enjoyed it.
Mission 3: *** I think this map fit really well with the story. That being said, the map was way too big and i spent forever trying to find the glowies. Otherwise still good.
Mission 4: **** I like this mission. It was pretty good, but there wasn't a whole lot of depth to it.
Mission 5: ***** This mission is challenging and creative. It very much has the feel of an epic last stand. It was a little too tough for my tastes. The creative use of enemies and objects made up for this.
overall: *****. It was enjoyable and villainous, but it had its flaws. The last mission really made it though and brought this up to a 5
[/ QUOTE ]
Thanks a ton
What was your opinion of the evil factor from mission 3 and up? That's really when it is intended to kick in or sink in, the sheer magnitude of what you're single handedly enabling.
And the mission 3 map.. yeah too big for my tastes as well... but it's the smallest available. Maybe I should PM a dev and bug them to add a smaller version of this map type?I'd totally switch to it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm not being constructive.

Okay, so Matt Miller and our Dev Team received yet ANOTHER basket
Thank you very much to Jester99 . It was very thoughtful of you!
Before all of this gets too out of hand though, everyone we want to make sure you know that by posting that first basket that arrived, we werent by any means suggesting that others send presents.
Although we appreciate the kind gesture we definitely didnt intend to suggest that its now something expected of you or that it will get anyone any extra advantages like getting into our betas or information and such. J We dont want anyone to feel obligated nor do we want to make any players who dont have the means to show their appreciation in this way, feel bad.
Plus, well do you really want to be responsible for giving our Devs big heads? (Shhh dont tell them we said that!)
Anyway, thanks again to all, but please, please know that a few kind words on the forums means just as much to us if not more!!! :0D

The images aren't really high enough res to do it, they will be pretty fuzzy.. but I can look into it later today anyways
-
Ok, that was tough to fit in there. I had to scale em down, of course, but I couldn't make them any narrower without creating extra borders. If the phone UI interferes too much, let me know what I need to move around.
It's up in the first post now. -
Ok, I did 99803, "Battlin' Tom's Murder Extravaganza!"
Quick, fun arc. Beat the crap out of it
There were two glaring errors, and one personal point of contention.
First, the errors.
In the second mission, the nav text says you need to find Toxana, but in fact, the target is Madame.. (something, I can't read my hand writing...... I think it says Naruda... or Alaruda...). Either way, they don't match
In the third mission, the nav text says to find Frostwerks, but it leads instead to "Belmont Grey".
Now my one single issue is with mission 3. I felt the sheer number of things I need to destroy got excessive. Twenty is pretty high. At some point, it changed from fun, into a task. I'd say make it fifteen personally, but up to you.
I had a lot of fun though, which is an auto 5-star from me.

Arc Name: Assault on Aru Prime
Arc ID: 173115
Estimated Time to Play: 1-2 hours. Five missions, most are on fairly small maps, but they are pretty intricately designed. This is a departure from my other two arcs (1008 the Wretch's Gift, and 96322 The Tannhauser Gate). While the narrative is strong, there are a lot less clues, but they are no less important. This arc focuses on quickly paced action, as opposed to introspection or investigation.
VERY EVIL, VERY VERY BASTAGE STYLE EVIL. Also, somewhat difficult above Heroic, definitely use your brute if you wanna try it out.

I ran someone through it, and one of their comments stuck out a lot. During the last mission, she said "It's like Star Wars in here!", which was a nice complimentPlaying in groups of 2 or more people on high difficulty will make this a very hectic encounter, through and through, but we had a lot of fun.
Final warning: This arc is for EVIL PEOPLE. Cold-hearted, uncaring, bastage evil horrible, horrible evil people. Just wanna get that across to you. This is not campy, its just plain horrible and mean.
DO NOT PLAY THIS BELOW 31! There is a non-scaling object to destroy in the second mission that will not drop below 35. When I15 goes live, I will hit this with an auto-SK/Level restrict (whatever it is they're giving us).
Hope you enjoy yourselves, please leave any feedback you might have -

We're sitting in a meeting and our Development Director said "We've contracted some Type R programmers".
I had never heard this term before, so I jotted it down on my notepad, so I could inquire about it later.
Just then our Lead Engineer asks "What is Type R?"
Our Dev Director looked stumped. "What do you mean?"
"You said 'Type R Programmers'" said the Lead Engineer.
"No, I said 'High Powered'." said the Dev Director.
"No you didn't. You said 'Type R.' See I wrote it down." I said, and showed him my notepad that said "Type R?".
So now, everything high powered and awesome in the office is "Type R".
I am now on a crusade to get it used outside our offices. I should add it to urban dictionary or something.
