I'm almost positive it's the shaders that govern the yucky look...and your Shader Quality setting (right above Water in the advanced settings list) is N/A. With a GTX260, I have NO IDEA why you can't set your shaders. Unless your nVidia control panel settings are overriding City.
FSAA will get rid of some of the jaggies around the far-away characters. Otherwise I'm almost positive it's shaders. -
Definitely not how the game is designed. What do your FSAA and Anisotropic Filtering settings look like? What do your shader settings look like?
What graphics card are you using? It may just not be able to handle the settings properly. -
Save both of the costumes. Open them in a text editor. They're located in the costumes subfolder of your City installation.
The top part, down to but not including where it says "SkinColor #". Ignore everything after that. You should have something that says (numbers will be different obviously):
Code:There's your body and face scales. Copy those scales from the costume file with the edited face to the costume without. This is one of my very favorite aspects of another MMO. It makes the game so much more fluid between soloing and teaming and MASS TEAMING. I would *love* it if it were adopted over here.

VIP = maintaining a subscription. You can let your sub lapse and become Premium for the duration of not subscribing. You can resubscribe and become VIP again.
Premium = previously VIP but not currently subscribing *OR* previously free but bought PP for use on the market.
Free = accounts created after Freedom launches and have never bought PP or subscribed or applied a retail code *OR* trial accounts created before August 17 and have never bought PP or subscribed or applied a retail code.
edit: if you're really an eight year vet (which is impossible but hey! we'll pretend) you will only lose the VIP-only (e.g. VIP server, Incarnate system, etc.) and PP-only bonuses (e.g. Beam Rifle, Rocket Board, etc.)...everything else should be unlocked via veteran rewards (e.g. MMs and Controllers, invention system, etc). -

A lot of people are reporting issues logging in, in the various beta forums. Best to post there since that's where they want feedback/bug reports/discussion. -
Go into your keyboard's programming software and tell it to assign your S keys to whatever keys you have the incarnates bound to. I suggest using shift or alt or ctrl + [something] just so that you can still use the [something] keys normally in-game.
For instance, I have shift+numpad1 through shift+numpad6 bound in game to do various toggleon binds. Then I told my G15 software to make G1 through G6 to activate shift+numpad#. -

Upgraded my trial account that I made for one of the prestige grants (hooray for prestige padding!). I figure this $2 fee grants me: 1 token for owning a retail code and 1 token for having a sub for one month, which puts me in Level 2, so this Premium account will have SGs, tells, email, trading, ++inf cap, ++inventory... it also grants me 400pp to spend as I see fit in the market once this goes live. All for $2, so how could I say no? I might even go find a cheap GR box to apply before it goes live for the extra reward token and 400pp from a month of sub, 2 extra character slots (GR doesn't grant 2 slots after Freedom launch), and Praetoria access.

Another thing is that teams move fast, plowing through content, so it seems unlikely that a team is going to stand around a tree, even for a few seconds to get a regen buff. It would also make those annoying "GATHER!" messages far more frequent, a definite downside.

Yep. You have to go hero from 1-20 for HEATs and villain 1-20 for VEATs.

The only way I can think of it is to make solo/team/pvp builds of multiple level ranges, and that's beyond silly.

I have done this. I got a petless mastermind up to 19, and respec'd into a real MM out of frustration, and eventually deleted him since I have three other MMs who are more fun to play and higher level. What I ended up being was a terrible corruptor. It was fun until the novelty wore off (about level ten or so), then the excessive endurance usage (MMs have their endurance usage increased due to not using any endurance for pets' attacks) and abysmally few attacks (even supplemented with Sands of Mu; this was before I got the other two vet attack choices, and before easy transfers for Inventions temps, and waaayyyyyy before Inherent Fitness) just grated on my nerves. To be honest, I'm kind of surprised I got it up to 19; I am NOT shy about respec'ing or rerolling or deleting characters I'm not having fun with, so going eight or so levels beyond the fun point is kind of epic for me.

I renamed my global from Martavius to Aggelakis when I inherited the shared account when my ex and I split up. I changed it so that people would stop assuming it was my ex online or that I was a dude, and to stop them calling me Mart or Marty. (Also, Martavius is not my name to use, it's my ex's.)
I have purchased one character rename (the day they went live) for Martavius, my ex's character. I renamed him Atomic Acoustics, because I love alliteration (his full name, with title and badge, is: "The Awful, Automated Atomic Acoustics, Arachnos Agent"
) and it's a nod to his powersets (energy/sonic corruptor).
Almost no one knows how to say Aggelakis. Everyone I have asked or who I've spoken with on Vent or in person says "AGG uhl ACKiss" instead of "AGGella KEECE". The only person who has said it correctly was Greek (appropriate -- it's a Greek surname!)
My secondary account, kellzilla, is hard to mispronounce and the only misspelling it gets is the occasional person doesn't use two "L's" in "kell". -
Tell him to log into the forums with the same name/password combo that he logs into the game with. Failing that, PM Zwillinger to come to the rescue for him.

It depends entirely on what WST is active when you complete it. So if you're planning a TF that will complete after that time, make it the next TF.
