Not sure where to ask this. I purchased GR the other day, and when i saw my bank statement, i noticed i had been billed twice. Not sure how to get this corrected. where do i go to contact the billing dept to fix it?

For some reason I'm having trouble logging in. I click the desktop icon, and it brings up the window, but just says connecting to #1, then #2, etc but doesn't connect. doesn't give me the choice of safe mode, or verifying files. also not getting the picture in the box about latest updates, etc.

The other computer on the network connected first time with no issue.

Is this some sort of firewall issue, or what should i do?

Currently running a N9500gt 512 mb card. the slot beside the graphics card slot is open. ummm, think the p supply is 350, or 400 watt.

Thanks for all the replies. I wrote that post in the early morning, well early for me, and didn't realize how much of a whiny baby i sounded till i read it again this evening. lol

Anyway as far as the kills. a few of you reminded me that if i'm on a team that it drops the chances of me getting the purple drops. The 15,000 that i counted to was when i was solo. if i wsa on a team, i didn't count those at all. Perhaps it's my method. i usually run lib farm, even lvl set for 6 or 7 on my fire/rad corr. i normally do like 5-6 runs in a row, all solo. I can understand the randomness of the purples, but the reason i thought it might just be something wrong with my account, i know sounds ridiculous, is because in those 5-6 runs i usually get like 1-2 non recipie io's, 1 recipie IO, normally something like crap of the hunter, and then 3-4 pieces of common salvage, i don't keep up with the insps i get.

My wife, also on a fire/rad, even lvl set for 6-7, easily beats my drop rate for 5-6 runs in 1 run of the same farm, not to mention, she get's the occasional purple drop. lol

It just makes me wonder if i should send a message to support saying check my dice roll it's broken. lol

Oh, and the number of 12,000 kills per purp drop i quoted earlier was a number quoted to me by like 6-7 different people in game, no idea where they came up with that number.

All the tips, and tricks for good drops are greatly appreciated. I won't get alot of "play time" until this weekend, but I'm deffinatley gonna try out some of the suggestions.

I've been playing cov for a long time now, 50 month vet, and I'm still wondering about how the drop rate for purples, and pvp recipie's work.

I know you have to be killing lvl 50 baddies to get the purple drops, and i do, that's mostly all i kill, lvl 50+ but i don't get the same drop rate for purples as others. I do at least one ITF a week, and when i do someone on the team always gets a purple recipie, but never me. I heard someone say you get one every 12,000 kills or so, so I started counting. I got up over 15,000 without looting one, and i stopped counting there. i've probably killed more than twice as many since i stopped counting, and still nada. I have 12 lvl 50 toons, and since the invention of purples, i have looted 4, and all of those were near the begining of when they were first available. My wife, 40 month vet, has gotten 4 in the last 3 weeks. I have looted 1 pvp recipie since they came out, and again, that was near the begining of when they were available.

was just wondering if it's just me? am i doing something wrong, or have i just fallen through the cracks?

I know there used to be a post on how to hyper thread your dual processors so that instead of each processor running at 50%, they each ran at 100% during cox. I recently reinstalled cov, and i need to get it hyper threaded up again, but after doing a forum search, i can't find the post. can anyone help me? do you know the command that i add to the desktop icon, or can you link me to that post? The last time i needed/read the post it was well before the forum update, and the new cox page look.

Hi guys,

I have had finincial problems recently, and i have to cancel both of my cov accounts. i'm canceling due to being jobless, not because of any issue i have with the game or devs.

What i'd like to know is if i cancel, do i loose my veteran status? i will probably only be gone a few months, then come back. can i come back to the same acct, with same pword? will i still have my toons? will i still have badges, accolades, enhancements, and infmay when i come back?

Is there anyway to just put things on "hold" account wise for a few months?

Any help would be appreciated.

Part of the problem again is the MA. People who were previously spending their time running missions, even if they were farms, were out there getting drops, that they needed, and drops they didn't need. That made it to where the supply was alot higher.

With MA everyone is tied up in a non dropping farm hoping for tickets to roll the rare recipies they can roll, and not earning the purples that they can't roll.

In my opinion perhaps, until they can figure out what they want to do with MA, they should up the drop rate for those of us who want to do more than just run the same farms over and over.

Pre I13 i would beat pretty much ever MM in pvp that i fought with my mind perma dom. Even in bodyguard mode. they'd keep the pets close, i'd sleep the pets, or mezz or whatever, and kill the mm. after I13 it's a different story.

I agree with the other posts for the most part, you just haven't been fighting good mm's.
