The casual gamers and players that arent all about builds and "power gaming" are PLAYING THE GAME. lol

The majority of COH players will read/post one forums once in a while. The people that literally spend 10-20 hrs A DAY on the forums - you really dont want any advice from.(except those on forums a lot to HELP others)

Just go in game and say hello to anyone you see. I guarantee, no matter what server you are on, the first 10 people you message - more than half will add you as a friend and be super friendly and helpful.

Remember its a game, so most PLAY and dont bother with "meta gaming"

Its the vocal minority who you see on the forums all day. Usually the whiners and complainers lol.


Virtue and Freedom are my two fav servers, triumph too! Have fun!

The OP is right! The game has been down at LEAST 3-4 times per week over the last month. Sometimes 2-4 hrs, MOST TIMES its 8+ hours. And a few days the game was down for over 20 hrs!

As great as Freedom is, us VIP members are paying for a Month of gametime, not three weeks of gametime. We are OWED at least 2-3 days credited to our account for all the time lost due to ridiculous maintenance and patching. All VIP members, that is.

Just gotta say AWESOME!!!

I've played mmoRPGs for a few years now, but have recently returned to COH. And although I've only played for 3 months total - I LOVE THIS GAME!

And, the fact that people RP and play coh how its intended to be played is PHENOMENAL!!!

mmorpgs are MADE for RP! I especially love Action-RP

I cant wait to hang with such a great community! I'm also creating an Arachnos-themed SG base set up specifically for Base raids. So if anyone is up for a sg vs sg raid or SG pve stuff, you can join for a few hours a few days.

IF someone has a SG that is fully equipped, and people are into Base Raids, SG battles and getting the most of the game by doing it ALL and NOT LELEV RUSHINg/GRINDING/FARMING - msg me.

Umm, so far, in the last two weeks, ALL players have lost about 4 DAYS worth of gametime from the day-long and half-day maintenance and patching. Thats not even including the NORMAL patching/maintenance each week, of up to 24hrs total.

So, WHEN will we all be getting our 4 days of gametime added to our accounts?

(even if you refuse to acknowledge the halfday maintenanc, there was TWO full days, last week where noone could log on for 18+ hrs each day!!)


So please, give us the VIP members, the players who appreciate and will always love COH - our gametime. Im not looking for a handout. I just want the time i lost, since i could not play during the days you had maintenance.



Lastly. can you PLEASE try patching/maintenance around 2am-8am or something, when most people ARENT playing lol.

Regardles, COH is amazing and I pray daily that NCsoft will FINALLY give your studio a REAL BUDGET, so that you can hire some new people and have the time to create original models and code, rather than be stuck with using the already-made stuff and put things together like lego blocks and the mission architect.

COH deserves to be around for AT LEAST another 10 years, and hopefully the game can grow and expand, without losing the RPG part of mmorpg.

Hello everyone! I just subbed for COH after wanting to play for a long, long time. Took me a few days to get used to the COH style, especially after playing CO first, but I am LOVING it!

I have a few questions that hopefully some of you can answer to help me on my way!

1- How do I choose / change my Global friend chat name? I was given one that is the same as my first alt toon, which I wasnt warned about.

2- Where can I go, closest to Atlas, Galaxy and Mercy Island - to buy a Raptor Pack? Also, any tips on making 10,000 inf as fast as possible to buy one?

3- Is there any way to go back to missions you out level or will I never be able to until I get to use the flashback thing i heard about?

4- If I get hover at level 6, do I have to get the flight-punch thingie before I can get flight, or can I just get flight at level 8? If not, when do I have to wait.

5- I have my first HERO on Freedom and my Vill on Virtue, anyone know of a good light/medium RP supergroup that is also into pve and all the other content

p.s. - I watched the youtube video of the hero con showing "going rogue" features/gameplay, and it looks like they FINALLY fixed the run animation for our characters. Take a look and let me know if i'm seeing things, cuz in the video its a lot less like gumby running. thx
