  1. Sold thanks. Nice smooth purchase.
  2. Got 60 emps on a char so can buy this recipe for someone. Want 2.25 bn inf for it thanks.

  3. Nice build but one thing I noticed is you placed the stealth io into combat jumping. Why not place it in sprint instead as it will accept it then it saves you a slot for elsewhere in the build such as boosting recharge of acid mortar or anything else.
  4. Congratulations on another 50. If you want a controller thats not painful until pets try an Ill/Rad controller they start out fun and not painful and simply stay that way.
  5. Maybe it was just the bosses I was killing at end game (cot, carnies and malta - mainly for fact they gave nicer salvage) but if the hold is guaranteed then it doesnt last long as they would start hitting back pretty quickly usually. Although they dont live long except master illusionists (stupid phasing).

Sorry got confused between stun/hold both stop em attacking and if you rapidly smacking things with the mallets they dont get much of a chance to go walkies anyway.
  6. I would certainly say SM/WP is a total beast. With the disorient and kd from fault you get plenty of time to regenerate health. Tremor later on lets you have yet another AoE knockdown power to stack with it, and then your mallets can also do knockup and down. Then finally you have seismic smash for hard hitting with chance to stun a boss in one hit.

With tough and weave you can jump into LGTF spawns and just start smashing those rikti. Only problems are things like sappers (fault or seismic smash em) or mass mu or other end drainers or massive amounts of slows. (Jumping into a double TSOO spawn can get depressing how much -rch you end up at and even with cj and hopping I could barely move).

Really SM/WP was one of the easiest chars I have levelled to 50 and the others included a fire/tank at release (so absurdly strong burn patch and 90% s/l/f res) and ill/rad controller. But more importantly it was one of the most fun chars I took to 50.
  7. Unfortunately I may not make the Wednesday session this week on Monkey Magic. I should definately be there for Thursday though.
  8. Can you add me as a reserve ZipZap, kin/elec defender
  9. I should be able to make it on ZipZap this weekend thanks.

We will meet you all on the battlefield with honor and respect.

You appear to be confused, the SMASH! is not honorable or respectful. The SMASH! is walking death and pain.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I dunno honor and respect is fine for brutes, its what they deserve and will get unless someones wants SMASHING.

I was tempted to make a cheerleader character for a EM brute to go with the pink pom-poms.

I have a rather horrible mental picture of a hairy Brute wearing a cheerleader outfit. Think Bluto from Popeye.

Sorted now thats what I call EVIL.

  17. Dont think stalkers are that weak solo or in a team. In a team multiple stalkers may work better than multiple brutes as it would let you remove several enemies from a fight fast, but several brutes means the agro is spread out so harder to build up fury.

Stalkers damage and defense arent so far behind a scrapper that they cant handle themselves solo. Assuming the base difficulty level you should be able to handle the spawns by simply assassinating the biggest threat then killing the other couple of bodies lying around. Only problem is if you dont have room to maneuver or are doing the kidnap things where hiding is a problem. It may be slower than a brute, but still seemed faster than when I tried to solo a defender for a few missions, but I prefer to team in general anyway.

  19. Think I go SS/Inv for the SMASH factor. Tried DM/DA before but I found it lacked a killer punch and shadow maul is depressing when it misses as you stand around doing nothing waiting for its animation to finish.
