Ever since i14 the auto power (ctrl+click, green circle around powers) doesn't work when you are targeting an NPC.
For me this is highly annoying seeing how I use it for Practiced Brawler, I noticed the bug because I was held a lot more then before i14 -
So with I13 almost upon us I got bored and started fiddling around with mids again on my main scrapper. After reading Maelwys's guide and a couple of others I've changed the thinking behind Aldwych's build.
Now there are loads of question from my side on this build, does it have to much defence buff? Is it to endu heavy? With the coming PvP changes will this build stand a chance in RV? Should I pick tactics instead of FA. etc etc.
With the introduction of the '3 insps is a wakie' feature I've abandoned my Rez power and with it all my medicine pool powers. I've removed elude for maneuvers, with the high numbers of defence this build has I'm thinking this should be like a perma elude feeling only without the Endurance Recovery nor the Endurance drop.
With the coming of I13 I'll likely change all the Scirocco's Dervish IOs for Obliteration IOs and perhaps put Blessing of the Zephyr or even Winter's Gift in super jump. Thou I'm not sure on the last one. I'd have added the changes already only Mids has understandable not included I13 sets yet.

Hmm all this thread is missing is a section on empaths who use binds.
Now I don't mind a '<insert buff> is ready please gather' bind, thou IMHO a good empath can feel their team enough that such lines aren't needed.
My main issue with empath binds are the ones directly linked to a power, most common are the Rez ones. "Stand up <char>, no sleeping on the job" or other more roleplaying ones. Sure it's all fun and games in good teams where almost no one dies but on a Pylon raid for instance it's very very annoying.
So pretty please with sugar on top, don't use such binds. -

That was the main "problem" with the AV in said TF I believe. There was some scrapper in the team who dealt more damage, thus the need of a build with more "umpf" in both the damage and taunting department.
I'm sure alvan will wake up soonish and correct me though -
After playing with that build a bit i found out i could add to my defence with a few tiny changes. I got rid of the HOs in my lower damage attacks and changed all my Scirocco IO's for Multi Strikes. Thus getting more +def bonus. Here is the new build:

A lot of the thing you notice about the build are partly Alvan's fault
The reason why I have 3 recharges in PB is so that it is often stacked in order to defend myself from dominators with names that end in Patient.
Plus I currently wouldn't know which other power could use an extra slot. Perhaps Focused Fighting an other LotG for even more +regen or one of my auto defence powers to get even more acc. Or even Stamina for the +DamBuff.
I guess I'll need to respec on test first and find out which is more usefull, thanks for the advice
The Resuscitate is one power which I have to use quite often when teaming in PvE with my SG mates. Mainly when the RotP of some blaster, who I won't name, isn't up yet.
To be hounest I have no idea how expensive all those Hami-Os are. All used in this build are already currently on my character. Just before the dev's changed the Hamidon, there was a weekly (sometimes even semi-daily) Hamidon farm on union, which I quite enjoyed due to all those people being around.
Your idea about Maneuvers and Tactics is something I'll also need to research. Though as said i currently use Rez very often.
As for DA, well i don't really need the extra defence, plus I dislike the power for reasons said in some previous post. -
I agree, but the game doesn't have a higher setting then Invincible
And for AVs and GMs which in which DA could help i have more then enough defence from Elude. -
In earlier versions of Aldwych I indeed had Divine avalanche. But while it was very important in lower levels, I noticed that after level 35-40 all it did was slow me down.
The only time when such extra defence is useful is when I get a large alpha strike aggro on me. But seeing how it activates after an attack it's often to late to help. -
While that is a very good idea if I only wanted to play PvP. I'm still planning to use the char more for PvE. Only with this build I hope that if I do enter RV from time to time, that I have a bit better chance against other builds.

I could be mistaken but I currently have 5 LotG recharge IOs in this build, and I heared that this was the maximum amount which still has an effect. -
So after I11 hit and all those nice purple IO sets came out, I figured this would be a nice time to make my scrapper a bit more survivable in RV.
I still have a long way to go before i can actually slot all the purples inf wise, but the rest should be doable in a very short time frame.
