A little nitpick though, I think you're referring to the "Going Rogue" trailer, which is NOT Issue 15. Going Rogue is an Expansion, not an Issue update.

Yeah, Bea and Pris came from a whole half-cocked idea that "What if the flesh lost in one of Cable and Deadpool's bodyslide accidents grew into new people" figured the Y's would be damaged, X's took their place and there you go. Twin sisters with square jaws that kinda took off on their own.
Long hair doesn't do well in combat situations. Getting slapped in the eye with your own ponytail hurts, man. Both are a bit muscular and flat from their active lifestyles too.

Grand Papier hosted an internation 24 hour comic day last weekend and I joined the other students at the Center for Cartoon Studies in the madness. Managed to do 14 pages of a comic about my two sister superheroes Deadspring/Knivesbane and Dayspring (aka Priscilla and Beatriz Winters).
So two off duty superheroes go to a movie theatre...

Those who don't draw, write?

Grad-e-atin' from Cartoon College up here in Vermont and with my thesis out of the way I've started drawing CoX stuff again.
Here are concept sketches of my SoA, Betti, an Arachnoid with a sweet disposition. Used the argus head as inspiration and tweaked it from there. Bit of Wolf Spider and Goliath Bird Eater in there.

Will put up more finished pieces soon, an idea for a short comic involving two of my toons and Sister Psyche has been rattling around in my head for a while.

A while back the Lethal Ladies on Pinnacle decided to do all the taskforces before Halloween and we'd have themes for each one. Deadspring, being apart of this merry band of women who enjoy bringing bad folk to justice with great fervor joined them for the Sister Psyche taskforce.
The theme?
We fight crime in playboy bunny outfits. Which we all did, except for our resident Debt Goddess Nyrana.
Anyway! From left to right!
Deadspring after defusing a bomb in front of a group of Freakshow without getting killed.
Dakota (our stone tanker) and the ever fabulous Nyrana! Dakota went about squeezing our fluffy tails and squeezed Nyrana's so hard it popped off. Which was good for Nyrana in the end I think.
Anyway! Enjoy!

I remember fighting her when I was villain side, she does this neat water melt and teleport away thing if I remember right.
She's in one of the promotional videos somewhere...can't find it though

Yep I'm on Pinnacle and you've probably run into Deadspring in your adventures. Bodysliding is just a way of teleporting.

It's the twins again doing their peanut gallery snarking thing after a mission dealing with the Council. Bea and Priscilla do have two fathers, not the awkward, funny, canned laughter sitcom deal...well, kind of. There are more explosions though..

Yep, the ShiPainter program they have on oekaki boards is really the best one to work with. Multiple layers and whatnot make it SO much easier. I've gotten so used to it I just kinda approach OC and Painter with a kind of 'okay, how do you work this fangled thing?'
