If we are keeping it legal which i assume we are the options are limited. But if we all refuse to buy any NCSoft title ever again and tell our friends and relatives not to do so that would hurt NCSoft at least in their western markets.

If the poster or anybody wants to play GW2 don't really have a problem with that its their time/money.
Personally i would be very reluctant buy GW2 spend time and money developing a character. Then find out a year down the line the suits at NCsoft have decided that GW2 is not working and will close. And the characters i have spent a lot of time developing would soon be gone.
I do not trust then not to do as they have done with COH again. -
This is a lot like the way the game Neverwinters Nights runs now. The community there is still going strong and there are many Persistent worlds where you can log in and play when you get bored with the original game. There are some great Persistent world servers and some great modules people have designed for the game.
And its mostly free.
Heck the Neverwinters Nights community even survived after EA closed down the master servers for "security reasons" even though it was thought the master servers were essential to play online. The Persistent world community just found a work around and the online community continued the same as before. -
For me the thing that stood out for COH was flying. I never played another game where you could fly.

Looks interesting not sure if i would play it or not maybe maybe not.
But it will never happen now nor will i play GW2 or any other NCSoft title. Are any of us going to spend a lot of time playing and developing a character. Only to find all your time wasted when NCSoft decided it not working and pull the plug with the message sorry we are closing it. And if you are not happy tough.
I agree the bosses are not reading the forums but i am sure some employee of NCSoft will be. And when word gets back to them from the revenue loss from people who will never play one of their games again. Maybe the suits will realise they have shot themselves in the foot. -
Very sad i think the suits have decided it closes and that's it. NCSoft has shot themselves in the foot with closing COH. I will not be playing Blade and Soul even if its the best MMO ever nor GW2 which i was thinking of playing.
In fact the saying "it will be a cold day in Hell" seems to apply when thinking about playing another NCSoft game. And if anybody asks me about playing any of NCSofts games i will do my best to put them off.
I agree individually that will not hurt NCSoft but if all the players who play COH did it then it would start to hurt NCSoft -
I am a returning player and i am wondering about power pools. I remember with my old alt i took flight and medicne.
My new alt has reached lvl 8 and i am thinking of taking flight and medicne again. I am wondering if it is too late to take my first power pool. I remember that you had to take your first power pool at lvl 6 in order to get the next one. -
I am working to get my crafting badges. But it gets a bit confusing what inventions i need for the next level of badge and what i have already done.
Is there a decent checklist about so i know what i have done and what i still need. -
I am wondering if i get an invite to a team is there any easy way to find out where the main party is on the server.
