Question...

Is it considered proper RP etiquette to announce to your team members that you're RPing? I didn't think it was. When I RP, I just RP, regardless of with whom I'm teamed. For my own enjoyment, really. If the rest of the team RPs along, fine; if not, that's okay too. But tonight, after I mentioned I was experiencing "temporal shifts" (lag), I had a teammate say something like this to me: "((If we're supposed to be RPing, then why didn't you just say so? :P ))"

Aroo? It's not like I'd chided anyone for saying OOC stuff.

And oh yeah, I've teamed with Dongonyei! We couldn't get in on the sewer trial that someone was running and just ran around hunting in the sewers for a while.

Not that anyone knows me. But I teamed with the infamous U-mann when Jack decided to grace me with a private audience in Croatoa.

Still looking for the re-post of Genna's healer guide. I've only played a blaster and a controller over on Triumph server's raids, and the strategy there isn't exactly the same as the one here, so my idea of healing at a raid is just "spam heals during mito phase, rez the dead, don't spam heals during the hold phase."

I'd like to join the upcoming raid with my ice/emp controller and would appreciate a peek at Genna's healing guide or a brief explanation of what my role will be as a healer.

I've had success with my main (energy/energy blaster) in pulling with a knockdown snipe. I just have to be reeeeeally careful when I do. The direction that the foe gets knocked back into comes into play — do NOT knock the foe back into the rest of his group, as this will bring them all to you.

Interesting thing, too, is I've had success in actually sniping from within the mob, targeting a foe on the edge, so he is knocked away from his buddies. With SS and stealth on, of course. There is a need to do this sometimes in tight mission maps, like labs or caverns. Just remember that the target still needs to be some distance away from the rest of the mob.
