Hmm, doesn't sound like the time to resub then. I'll wait till i16, and provided Global Agenda hasn't launched then, I might check out CoX again.
Till next time, Candle out. -
I am ........sigh..... thinking about resubbing. Whats justice like these days? Still a fairly average server in terms of players on? Still lots of chit chat in JFA?
Any PvP whatsoever?
Also, I hear alot about AE stuff ruining the game, is that really all people do these days, or could I actually find teams running missions? -
Quote:Honestly, I think the whole seamless world thing is a gimmick anyways. Is it really that game breaking to wait 10 seconds for a zone to load in?A seamless world in this game is impractical with current mainstream hardware and internet connections, and anyone who understands how seamless worlds work and has played this game would know that. (Hint: The average gamer's computer and connection can't handle a seamless world at the speeds we move in this game. There's a reason characters in WoW move so slowly)
The "War Walls coming down" developer comment was apparently in reference to the Rikti invasion world event (when the War Walls come down to let the dropships in), and there is no hint that the devs have ever actively developed towards a seamless world for this game.
They have mentioned that seamless world is a "pie in the sky" goal, but that's far from saying that they're developing, or even thinking about developing it. -
11. Good PvP

Interesting, the new content is always good, but I especially like that little tidbit on paragonwiki that mentioned new stuff for 50's to do.

Taken a long hiatus from CoX, and noticed this whole Going Rogue expansion. Now a few things are pretty obvious, heroes can go villain, and vice versa, but what about the rest? Any Dev tidbits out there that can reveal on what else is coming with it?
The only thing that would really get me back into CoX is a *significant* influx of new content. Is GR supposed to bring this, or is it going to be mostly a few missions and the switcherroo? -
