To RP it or not was a fairly easy choice for me, since my main character is a Troll. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be like.. "Hey, drug addicted, mentally deficient, overly-violent gang member.. I'mma help you get some godlike power! Why? Iunno, just seemed like a good idea at the time."
Besides, I usually find it a bad idea to RP most in-game stuff EXACTLY as it happened.. It'd be odd to Roleplay killing Trapdoor with the 97th other player to go "How could you have killed him, -I- killed him", Etc.. -

If I don't grasp the ins and outs of slotting well, I'm not going to sit here and pretend I do, when I can ask people who actually do know. -
Upping the number of enemies still doesnt solve situations like the last mission of the incarnate arc where I can't kill the minotaur EB, even after using all the nearby dead enemies to get two simultanious pets and all the buffs going, etc.
Plus -1x1 was just an example, I didn't say I always ran at that.
Still keeping an eye out in the hopes of posts relating to actual builds/slotting. -

I've read most of the guides I've found, respec'd 3 or 4 times, both for human-only and various form-using builds. No matter which build I do, or guide I base it off, I always seem to end up sucking, so rather than doing it again a 4th or 5th time, decided to ask for help/feedback directly.
I'm not even entirely dedicated to being human-only, it just seems a lot simpler than trying to dance back and forth between forms mid-battle all the time, but maybe that's just me.. PuGs usually aren't a problem, since pretty much even the worst character build can at least do something when there's 7 other dudes there. However the occasional soloing is almost impossible.
even -1x1 missions can often be a hassle, and I've still not gone incarnate due to totally being unable to kill the minotaur EB guy at the well in the last mission.
In Summary: I suck at aliens, but don't feel like deleting mine, since I figure i'll have to 'get it' eventually if i keep trying different stuff. -
Yeah, I've already read most of the guides. Only downside is.. they're old. Some of them REALLY old. Whereas I19, she be new.

Like the title says, could use some help building/slotting my human-only Warshade.. And yes, I indeed do want to remain human only, though I'm sure my build could be greatly improved, as well as my slotting.
Below is what I'm currently using, isn't slotted with anything more than common IO's for the most part, since I didn't want to waste money on better stuff only to have to turn around and buy different things once I found a decent build.
As for budget, it'd be super fantabulous if the whole thing could come in under 2-3 billion, if possible. Could go a bit over if needed, it'd just take me longer to finish the build, or to wait and see if the prices simmer down again eventually.

I wonder if the sudden mega-increase in people running TF's and such will increase the number of drops people are getting and thusly increase the supply and slowly lower the prices?
I know personally I've been doing so many TF's that I got a Hecatomb and an Armageddon just in the past two days, not to mention all the non-purple stuff. And have been pricing it to sell fast on the market just because I needed to clear the space for more stuff. -
Definately way better.. I redid health and added those other two uniques like you suggested. I tried moving the skills around to take'em at the suggested levels, however whenever I did, the totals always came back lower. I even double and triple checked that I was slotting the same enhancements and placing the slots at the same levels, yet the totals were always lower after i re-arranged the skills.. Absolutely no idea why, must've overlooked something.
Not a huge deal though, so unless I'm mistaken or someone has a better idea, this will be the build I'm going with.

Made a second attempt with some of the feedback, still coming short of the softcap, though. Maybe I should drop purples for lesser sets with more AoE/Melee/Ranged defense? But that seems a bit counter-productive to be, so i'm not sure.. No doubt it's still full of allkinds of mistakes, but hopefully it's at least a little better.
I just hope it's at least a little better, and not flat out worse! Hoping to at least be able to start putting the build together in-game before the second respec comes along, just in case.

I wouldn't remove XP from AE, since even fighting a holographic enemy can teach you somethin'. What I'd get rid of is Inf, since how is fighting a fake enemy in a hologram giving you real money to spend out in the world..
I'd also remove Prestige.. Again, while you might learn something fighting a holographic enemy, I doubt playing what is essentially an advanced video game would make your group seem very prestigious.. Same for inspirations and the like.. You get them in the MA, and they should work in the MA, but once you exit the hologrammy goodness, items produced in there wouldn't exist on the outside.
Tickets are good, sort of like the tickets you get for playing random games at arcades or whatever. Though I don't think you should be able to buy overly rare crap with them.
Just my opinions, though. -
Just trying to figure out how to slot my tank, I'm incredibly clueless about it, so I know there's probably a bunch of crappy choices made in the build below, but that's why I came here before slotting things in-game!.. Power-Wise I think I'm happy with the powers I've chosen, unless there's some major, brain-meltingly terrible thing I've overlooked somewhere. If so, just let me know.
As for what I'm aiming for, I'd say my time is spent about 50% killing things with SG Mates, 35% just solo farming stuff, and 15% getting off my butt to do TF's and Raids and such. Which leaves about.. 0% PvPing. So it's important to both be able to stand there and soak up damage so my team doesn't get murderized, and also to do at least decent damage for when I'm soloing.
As for cost, I don't care if it takes me a long time, or if I'm completely broke afterwards, so long as I'm as effective as I can reasonably be.. Specially since then it'd be easier to make more money anyway.
I probably could have done more work trying to make this build better before bringing it here for expert advice, but my brain was starting to melt, so decided to just post it here and hope for the best.

Firstly, thanks to PERC for a nifty event, I like CC's, and this is basically a CC on steroids so I liked the idea.
Secondly, as one of the winners on virtue's part of the event (Mister Infinity), I'd like to point out to those who kept crying about it being rigged - Which I swear to god happens at every single Contest I've yet to attend, people really need to grow up - that I've been playing for, what, two maybe three weeks. So..
Personally I have no idea who any of the PERC people are, or even that their was an organization such as PERC in existance prior to seeing their post. So why people would rig things in favour of players they have never heard of is beyond me.
Just depressing to see people voluntarily put together events for other players (as far as I know they dont stand to gain anything by doing this? feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) and for them to get essentially flamed for their efforts.
