Are you sure she's alive? Night Ward is crammed full of dead people, is it not?
  3. I don't have songs for specific missions, but I do put together playlists for my characters that I play frequently. I select songs that put me in the right frame of mind for that character. Even if I'm not actively roleplaying, it's still fun.

Wait, what? Are you saying you got nothing else from being subscribed for those few months? This program was an incentive to maintain a subscription for people who were already inclined to but wavering a little, not a reason unto itself. If it was for you, you have some messed up priorities and should stop projecting your values onto everyone else.

    Sheesh.
  5. I'm guessing here, but I think BAB isn't replacing Statesman in every way. Most likely other characters will be stepping up to fill in niches other than the one single thing we know that BAB will start his TF. Also, I like that they're updating NPCs to reflect the story moving forward. The few players who will never ever play through the story where people have died but actually find themselves distressed and unable to find answers to the changes pale in comparison to the headaches leaving things be will cause for everyone else.

Also, Psyche not getting brought back makes perfect sense. Her power was stolen, but her power was her mind. Wherever her mind is *cough*PennyYin*cough* now that Wade's defeated, it's not available to be rejoined to her body.

Or, to put it another way: The timeline for each portion of content has to be internally consistent. It doesn't have to be consistent with other content other than in broad strokes, no matter how thematically tied.

Besides, while I'm pretty sure Night Ward is gonna be a lead-in to Sic Semper Tyrannis plotwise, that's also going to mean various hooks to mean that it comes after DA. That in turn means it comes well after First Ward, not immediately.

Anyway, trying to force the timeline of events a character of yours goes through to make logical sense is a fool's errand. Not only are other players' characters doing all those things in a variety of different orders, so are your own characters. Just try to enjoy what you're doing in the moment and assume this isn't your characters' story. You can make up for yourself what your characters do (AE helps!), while for the most part developer made content is the lore background of the game world that you get the pleasure of seeing firsthand.

I'd echo what Nitro said. I may have played most of the story arcs through in Praetoria but I come up with my own stories as to why each of my characters have left to Paragon Earth.
For sure. Might as well share mine too, might help to see other examples.

    • The Praetorian version of my main (a teen cyborg). Instead of being victim to an accident rebuilt better than ever and using her powers to help people, she's a spoilt, pampered brat, 'upgraded' with wireless and time-altering cybernetic networks to give her a huge edge in life. Too young to be a proper Powers Division member, she mostly serves the Emperor symbolically, appearing in media and propaganda. Runs a one-girl-several-robots 'courier' business on the Rogue Isles on the side because she's just too ambitious to stick with just the possibilities Praetoria has for her. Pretends not to be Praetorian on Primal Earth not to protect her interests there but to protect her Praetorian life. (Loyalist -> Rogue)
    • A member of the Dregs with a strong frost-manipulating mutation who was converted to the Talons of Vengeance. Among the treasures in the Midnight Manse, the Carnival of Light found the Links of the Eumenides, chains from Classical Greek myth. They bound Orestes at the trial that persuaded the Furies to relent from seeking his death. Testing them by binding the strongest Talon they could corner, they found that she became clear-headed and a true Kindly One. She now lives with the Carnival, but sometimes escapes to Primal Earth to avoid the Talons. Wherever she is, she strives to fight evil, not to punish the guilty but to protect the innocent. (Resistance -> Hero)
    • A girl genetically modified with guinea pig traits. She was a 'safe' test subject from the same project that created Bobcat. Lives in Underground Imperial, scavenging for anything she needs. Sometimes trades and works with the Resistance. Occasionally visits Pocket D by sneaking into the Studio 55 portal, where she's made some friends. Has been invited to Primal Earth, but is too scared of the unknown. (Resistance -> First Ward -> Future Praetorian Content)
  8. This looks like a job for Neck Romancer. Assuming I'm somehow awake.

Ahh. D'oh. That doesn't make much sense, but okay.
