What about set bonuses?
What kind of bonuses should I look for? -
playing at a lower level than what your character has obtained
short for malefactor
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Malefactor -
Quote:Wow! 41 -kb, huh?You should slot for at least 41 pts of kb protection and the HP cap. Drop the fighting pool to pickup Stealth, Invis and Phase. You need Hide, Stealth and a stealth proc to cap stealth.
Slot AS with 3 dam/acc HO's and 3 damage procs and I'd also would go Leviathan Mastery and slot Spirit Sharks the same way.
I'll see what I can do. -
Mostly I am looking for what my build goals should be.
I already have the stalker, so I am not looking for suggestions about powersets.
I have an unlimited budget.
This is something I put together. I am sure that it has many things wrong with it. But as I said, I have no idea what I need to be shooting for.

I have more than one build that I put together to mal down. They use a lot of lvl 25 and 27 IOs. You give up a little, but in return, you get to keep bonuses down to lower levels.
-
I use it all the time. I also use demonic all the time. I also use force of nature all the time. And I use secondary mutation all the time. I also use etc.
If you use it, it's quite nice. Idk if that constitutes "need" or not. -
I doubt it's intentional on their part. But that really doesn't change the experience from our end does it?

Quote:That's a work around that I was going to post about. It's kindasorta not the same thing as having more than one power on auto. There're some variations on that with loading and unloading different binds etc that can make the process more complicated if you like. But the gist is you want to check if you can fire one of the powers all the time. And the above and repetitions of that are quite functional for most purposes.I did this ages ago on my Mind/Radiation Controller:
/bind 1 "powexecslot 1$$powexecauto Hasten"
/bind 2 "powexecslot 2$$powexecauto Accelerate Metabolism"
Which meant that as I fought (using the 1 and 2 keys as some of my main single target powers) my auto power would change, and probably fire off both of them as they recharged, as long as I didn't button mash too wildly. Between combats, quickly pres 1 or 2 to set the one you think will come up next as auto.
In Wentworths or social situations, pressing either key twice makes the auto power deactivate.
Its not perfect, but it works quite well. -
ty
that seems to be about master minds and dark miasma -
I have a d/d stalker that I have had forever. I am not sure what to do with him. I have an unlimited budget.
I am not familiar with how PVP works either.
Any thoughts or build to share? -
I found several thousand on Virtue which I had forgotten about. So, I can sell some on that server too.
-
Thank you to those who have done business with me so far.
Offer ends when the Xmas event starts. -
I have seen people lfm and specifying that you send your powersets in a tell before getting an invite for more than one SF. I don't recall which ones exactly.
-
Quote:Nothing odd. I merely dismissed it.Although I find that a fairly odd comment as my entirely post was an attempt to explain how their was no benefit to it.
Also, what you did was explain advantages for giving tokens up front, which is something other than showing how there was no benefit from the current situation. -
Idk about all ATs or all powerset combos, but to some degree which is not insignificant, the skills of the player are a factor in performance.
These skills include somethings which carry over to w/e toons--like situational awareness--and some which are toon dependent--like know why you have certain powers and how they should be used when they're used. -

Where does one find the queue for normal missions?
I find the one for trials, but that's it. -
If I am not having fun on a team, I politely excuse myself and go about my business.
At different time, different things are fun for me.
I don't expect very much out of other players when it comes to considering me.
I did not know that we could queue for normal mission teams.
I'll have to look for that option. -
I will echo the sentiments of the above posts.
Skip the melee def as a goal
in this order imho
def > HP > regen -

Quote:Your thread is the latest I have heard about it.I know that. At one point, however, it was stated you'd get all your tokens at once when you subbed. This apparently broke between Beta and live, though, so it couldn't be implemented. There was, and I admit this is a very hazy memory, some mention of "seeing what could be done" about it, but we haven't heard anything more since.
I wasn't even aware that there was any intention whatsoever of revisiting the issue. I figured it was working from the company's standpoint and additionally functional for them in that it created a void players could fill with cash.
I hope someone has some update. I am curious to see if there's any intention to ever give us our tokens in a lump like they do the premium players. -
If you want a bunch of tokens at once, you need to put the money into buying points. Buying a subscription means that you can't have the points you pay for until sometimeS in the future.
-
What a shame.
They're awfully nice like that -
Quote:I feel the same way. I can't quite put my finger on it, w/e it is.A year ago I'd have said I'll be here until shut down day, but now I'm not so sure.
The game has radically changed in the last 12 months.
Normally I take game updates as they come and enjoy them, but these days when I'm playing I have the unsettling feeling that this isn't the CoH that used to love playing.
Sometime relatively recently things stopped being something that I as willing to stay up late to play. It has become more of a take it or leave it thing.
Maybe it started with the incarnate stuff after the alpha. idk. I can't put my finger on a precise moment. I can tell the difference between now and then though.
