  1. And that's MoBAF in the bag. Great job everyone! Thanks for coming.
  2. I have this power on my Gravity/Dark Controller and I'm still experimenting with it. Where I've found some use for it is on Lambda trials during the temp collection phase. If I'm running down a congested hallway or there are a lot of adds following the team I'll throw it down behind me. Since no one fights those mobs anyways it's not disruptive to anyone's attacks. It's also fairly useful if you're stealthing for glowies and there happens to be a group nearby. I'm sure there are more uses for it that I've yet to master. The fact that I need to think about how I use it is partially why I took it.
  3. Nice job guys. Congrats on the badge!
  4. If I'm around I'll help, but tonight may not work for me.
  5. MoBAF scheduled for Sunday April 15th posted here.
  6. On Sunday April 15th at 5pm Eastern I will host MoBAF badge runs in Pocket D. I plan on doing 2 runs. One for Keep 'Em Separated and one for Strong and Pretty. On both runs we'll also try to not let any prisoners escape, but I think most people probably have that badge.

No sign-ups necessary, just show up in Pocket D. I'll start forming around 4:30pm Eastern.

Edit: Time changed due to overlap with CC.
  7. 3 runs total. Loves a Challenge on the second run. Avoids the Green Stuff on the third. Simply amazing job guys. Thanks for coming!
  8. Ever roll an alt that you didn't expect to play much, only it turned out to be awesome? Ever revisit a character years after playing it, respec and IO it and turn it into your new favorite toon? If you've ever rolled a character that's impressed you above and beyond your expectations, share your story!

My latest underdog combination is my Gravity/Dark Controller. I never in a million years expected to play Gravity Control. Since they made changes to it and added Dark Affinity, I figured I'd roll a Gravity/Dark simply because I wanted to try out both sets. I've found a lot of uses for this character on trials. It's extremely survivable, has great buffs and debuffs and I was able to make a relatively cheap build for it with everything that I wanted.

Edit: Just ran a MoM where I was able to pull the Voids using Wormhole. So fun.

I would be open to trying a different time slot, however this one works best for me. If those who could not make Sundays want to post which times would work better for them I'll see what I can do.
  11. Keyes badge runs posted for this Sunday. Keep posting your requests in this thread and I'll try to rotate different trials into the mix since it seems people need badges from quite a few of them.
  12. This Sunday April 8th at 3pm Eastern in Pocket D I will host a few consecutive Keyes runs aimed at earning the badges for MoKeyes, specifically Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves a Challenge.

These badges can be extremely difficult to get. For this reason I will ask that you are familiar with the basics of the Keyes trial. E.g., it's not your first time, you know what I mean by "Obliteration Beam", etc.

    Hope to see you there!

The only potential issue I see with this is that it'll auto SK the participant to the team leader's level, so if someone who volunteers their base is level 50 the racer will no longer be at level 4.

This isn't to say we couldn't work around this. Just something to consider.

I'm asking because I intend on scheduling some badge runs. Ideally I'd like to schedule runs for badges people actually need.
  15. Not sure about AVs that would work but willing to help with checkpoints or anything else.
  16. I would also like to add that a Lambda was formed at 10am Eastern this morning. Just goes to show you can get trials going at times other than peak hours.

Also during this fight you can avoid Marked for Death entirely if you have a taunter stay at range from Maelstrom (hovering above him using a Jet Pack works well). Marked for Death seems to target whoever has aggro and everyone around them. As long as that person is away from the group you can go the entire fight without dealing with the red dots.
  19. My Gravity/Dark Controller, Odii, went from 1 to 41 over DXP weekend. I am very surprised at how much fun I've been having with this combination.

Just a suggestion, people generally don't respond to that question. Instead, if you actually start forming it, that's when you'll generally get responses. Sometimes you just have to give it a few minutes, send some tells, etc.

But anyways, does a multi run of DD sound interesting to anyone? I only ran it once but it didnt seem like it took too long. Plus I'm sure if our big name veterans were involved it would be a cake walk. (You know who you are)
I'm not sure why you want to run the DD over and over when you can run different trials, get full value on Emp merits and not get burnt out on the same trial. Personally, I would not want to do the DD over and over again. I prefer variety. If you're interested in the breakdown of Emp merits for trials, see here.

But yeah, not explicitly trying to form this up but rather hear what people think about such a thing. I think if the end of the sub starts creeping up and I'm still not T4 across the board I'd push more for this idea.
Again, if you want to do it, go ahead and start forming it up. You'll get a better response if you commit to forming it rather than deliberating about it on the forums/channels. Also, there's no reason why you'd need to do the DD specifically to T4 out your characters. So if you have questions on how to craft Incarnate powers, let me know. I think there may be a misunderstanding there.

    Trials?

Forming up some trials right now in DA if anyone's interested, starting with Lambda.
