Prefer the Heroes content Would post on the Tank forums BUT theyre empty :/

Been thinking bout a Will/Stone for a while, but wasnt sure if I wanted another Tanker, having 3 already. Then a mate tipped me off that they're brilliant for soloing as scrankers, and I decided to roll one on Defiant.

But, when I tried to come up with a decent damage/survivability balanced build, I struggled.

Has anyone with experience of Will/Stone, or scrankers as a whole, to which powers are good to take from both primary and secondary?

Well I was a bit bored earlier, and came up with a few ideas and themes for toons with PP. Butttt one major problem was that as someone who likes stuff to match, it's hard when the new sets dont have a matching epic pool. So, here's my theme matching epic pools:

Blaster - Mental Mastery
Psychic Repulsion
Dominate
Mind Over Body
Telekinesis

Notes: Psy Repulsion would be similar to Repulsion Field, but more pink, the hold at tier 2 and shield at tier 3 are usual for a Blaster, and went for TK at tier 4 as with it now so nerfed, it won't be -to- overpowered.


Controller – Thorn Mastery
Thorn Barrage
Fling Thorns
Thorny Shield
Thorntrops

Notes: Thorn Barrage would be MUCH less powerful than the Thorny Assault version, Fling Thorns would be around the same. Thorny Shield would be like perma Thorn-firing-state graphics wise, and Thorntrops a direct port from Thorny Assault.


Defender – Frost Mastery
Block of Ice
Hoarfrost
Frozen Armour
Hibernate

Notes: The usual tier 3 shield and tier 1 hold, but went for a tier 2 +HP buff similar to Earth Mastery Controllers. Hibernate's there as an overpowered tier 4 :]


Scrapper – Volcanic Mastery
Ring of Fire
Char
Fire Blast
Embers

Notes: Hard to get a similar-to-the-usual epic for Scrappers as theirs are so varied, but came up with this. Embers is like Caltrops/Thorntrops, but higher dmg and longer recharge, and forgeable into more like Oil Slick damage >


Tanker – Shadow Mastery
Torrent
Petrifying Gaze
Dark Blast
Tenebrous Tentacles

Notes: Direct port from Scrapper's Dark epic, nuff said :]

If I was goin for concept, I'd go either Plant/Rad (Eco-Freak) or Plant/TA with a green bow. Plant/TA would also have some nice slows, off Glue Arrow+Carrions :]

Usually either Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance for DPS chars (Blasters, Scrappers ect) then Nickelback and
Foo Fighters for support chars (Controllers, Masterminds ect)

Add in the occasional Avenged Sevenfold, Korn and Disturbed here and there and that's my basic epic fights/must-keep-everyone-alive soundtrack.

What songs do you guys find fit really well with the gameplay? Like a certain part of a song co-ordinates with a certain power and you're left wowed.

I'm a lostprophets fanatic so it'll come as no surprise I find their songs fit nicely, but it comes in many different forms...

Like when I'm ripping through my farm missions on my Fire/Kin Controller or SS/Fiery Brute, I quite often put this song on repeat; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMDTO...eature=related as it fits so well, and sometimes gives perfectly timed "movie scenes" with background music.

Similarly when playing quick paced toons, like Blasters and Corruptors, I find this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR4c2I2Wtvo fits brilliantly, especially the opening.

It's meant to be the highest consistent PBAoE damage for Brute farming since Footstomp is up so regularly with +Recharge Bonuses and the FF Proc. Stacks with Damage aura from Fire/Elec/Dark too.
