The puter my daughter plays on is this exactly... might be a gig.... think. But waiting on her to load I can get a sammich, drink, run around the block (exagerating there) but you get the point. I used to use that puter back in early CoH, but my puter now has 4 gig to play with

I think I will have to try disabeling AVG on my compy to try to see if it aleviates lag also. Thank you all for pointing this out. If this is the problem on my puter... bye-bye AGV.

Who said they hated empathy? This is something that usually happens in the "healer" threads; people who are disgusted with the "healer" mentality generally aren't anti-empath, but rather anti-poorly-played-defender. Every person I have seen who describes themselves as a "healer" has built themselves to be just that (there are probably exceptions, but they're too rare for me to make an effort to find). No "healer" is of any use to me, regardless of what character I'm playing. But an actual defender is, every time.

It is if all someone is built to do is heal. But that has nothing to do with the set and everything to do with the player at the controls. A buffing, healing, blasting empath contributes at every stage of the game. I may have missed it, but I don't believe anyone has said otherwise.

As Happy said... no one hates Empathy!! It's the "I r Teh H34Lz0R" Mentality. One attack all of the empathy pools + Medicine pool + all the flight pools +... you get my point.

I don't hate empathy defenders. Heck I have one at lvl 50, Emp/Psi. All of the buffs 3/4 of the heals and a very full attack chain!

Only I was on my PB and I have [glowing touch].

It was along the same lines of what you did but it turned pretty bad when I said that I was a "healzor" with my PB and have badges to prove it! But I told them lesson was over also when I had my Emp/Psi out with a full attack chain plus all buffs. Healzor indeed!

NO!

No no no no nonono....I wouldn't suggest going into invention sets just yet. I would suggest learning the tools in the game to start understanding basic power attributes first.

For example: you have Temporary Invulnerability slotted for recharge when it already recharges quite fast. You have stealth slotted for defense when it has a very small bonus to defense (therefore slotting for it gives a small bonus as well).

There are in game tools to see just how much resistance, damage or recharge a power has so start educating by knowing what your powers can do.

Ok, on the stealth thing... yea... I took it for defense and stealth. I might be speccing it out now and getting the ones from fighting pool.

OP: You might want to re-think the blaster thing with a mix of blast AND mele.

Grab at least 3 blast powers and the nuke and probably drop stun. Being a Blapper has it's merits... but you want more range also.
