Ryan grinned to Nick. "I'll try and think of it like that then... gotta get changed soon into something less... hero-y." He said, looking to his black and orange armour. The new set was certainly comfortable, and looked good. At least in Ryan's opinion. Wasn't really good for blending in though.
BODICIA winked to Richard and tilted her head a little. "What activites? I do not have the faintest idea of what you mean." she smiled vapidly. "Linda is for Zorielle to deal with, however. Getting her back is our job." -
BODICIA mused for a moment, considering how best to state the abilities and skills of those she had selected or had offered to help.
"Arachidamia, or Mary, is our muscle. She was the one who suggested we do this. Of course, as OverAI it would be reprehensible for me to send my members into a dangerous, unauthorised situation. As well as being very formidable with a sword, she can use magical energies to increase her healing capacity, endurance and fortitude."
"Then we have Cindersnap, or Ryan. Pyrokinetic and capable of hypermobility. Seeing as Linda is one of his friends, trying to keep him from coming would be an effort in futility. Besides, it will be good learning experience for him."
"Next to him is Nightschild, or Nick. Former inhabitant of the Rogue Isles and skilled with dark energies. His enhanced senses and stealth providing abilities plus the lay of the land may serve us well."
"Misha Hannigan, as well as having an enhanced sense of smell and hearing, is a capable fighter with superb reflexes and claws, and I believe the experience will do her good. Plus a little raw power never hurt anyone. Except power sensitive capacitators."
"Burned Ice is one of our new junior members. I wanted to see if she could ignore rules and protocol when needed. Evidently, she can. Pyro- and cryokinetic, her abilities will add a more refined edge to our team composition."
"Then there is you. If I need to tell you about yourself, well, then there may be something wrong." BODICIA chuckled.
"Our absent member is Starborn, possessing high durability and strength. A bit of a powerhouse slash walking bulletproof shield. She has some journalistic experience, which means that we may be able to get more accurate information to field to our press officer to cover our proverbial [censored] if required."
With a smile, she tapped her own chest. "And then there is me. Because someone has to fly this ship and provide tactical support when required. Also, I have other mission objectives to provide to try and salvage the media circus that Linda's little jaunt is threatening to drag us into." -
The young man looks to Nick and shakes his head. "No... well yeah, well, kind of. Just that it's most peoples first trip to the Isles, and we're not quite sure what we're going to find when we go looking for Linda... from what the reports said, she was pretty badly beaten, so whatever did it... plus we've got to track her down too." Cindersnap then grinned a little. "Plus it's my first time on a plane before, so... yeah, a little nervous. You want a drink or something?"
--------------------
BODICIA nodded a little to Richard as she went through some more checks. "Fortunately no one has seen fit to question my choice of team... there are a few small additions I could make, but I would rather keep Ben and Smiler from this mission, being as known as they were in the Isles..." -
"Ah, welcome aboard the Unity Wing, Nick." BODICIA smiled as Nightschild entered the plane. "And now we just have one more member to wait for. Could someone please do the introductions and such? I need to argue with myself for flight clearance, and keep that meddling Zorielle from stopping our flight. And chase up where Starborn is."
The gynoid sighed as she returned to her seat. "My infintismal nature is compromised due to a holistic copy of myself being loaded into this form and the plane, so I cannot as accurately multi-task as I am usually capable of."
Ryan grinned to Nick as he entered. "Morning! Good to have you along, dude!" -
BODICIA gave Richard a raised eyebrow. "I think she is a little young to get helped into her clothing, Richard. Cassandra is still unconscious but stable, while you ask." The gynoid replied, before looking to Misha and giving a nod.
"It works on fur, yes, and to remove it we have a simple solution at the Tower. Just spray it on and shower." -
BODICIA nodded to Burned Ice. "Basically, as Richard said. Try to dress down and look inconspicuous. I have loaded some example files of attire commonly worn, and Hannah was kind enough to provide some e-Dye to apply to your hair and colour. During the flight, you may wish to work on cover stories and identities."
-
Ryan gave a nod to the others, still looking pensive as he waited in his chair. The expression added a couple of years to his features. Probably not a bad thing in all circumstances.
"Do not mind Serious Simon back there. It is his first time flying." BODICIA chuckled from her seat, getting up to regard the crew. "And thank you for coming, Richard. I suppose I could make some crude joke about being able to get a man up at any time, but that would be uncouth." The gynoid chuckled cheekily.
Glancing over at Burned Ice and Misha, she smiled. "We are currenty waiting for Nightschild and Starborn, who are currently en route here. I hope."
"Hey, I'm just a little nervous about going to the Rogues! And flying for the first time, yeah, but like..." Ryan objected after some delay, taking his headphones out.
BODICIA rolled her eyes and looked to the others.
"Anyway. Welcome to Unity Wing, the SARACEN class aircraft created by ZorTel Industries for use in infiltration and extraction missions, as well as general transport and rescue. I will give this talk again later once Starborn and Nick arrives, so if you are not paying attention now, you better pay attention later."
BODICIA wandered into the isle and gestured towards the back. "At the rear of the Unity Wing is the deployment chamber, with ample overhead storage and store cupboards, and two bathrooms. Please stand clear of the central floor panel in the room, that is for emergency drops and loading large objects."
"At the rear of this room, you will find a machine able to dispense hot and cold snacks and beverages. Trash compactors are located in the marked panels on the sides of the room, please make sure to recycle. Failure to comply gets the pilot snippy, and I do have access to the ejector seat function. It will be a long walk to the Isles or to Paragon from where you land, I guarantee it."
Moving to where Ryan was sitting, she ruffled his hair with a smile before tapping on the touchscreen.
"You have access to intra- and internet services through this, as well as TV and radio. You can link the audio feed in to your commslink, or headphones are provided under the seats. In the event of an emergency, oxygen masks will drop down, and a field generator under the seat will generate an orb of kinetic force around you to prevent injury in the extremely unlikely event of a crash. First aid and emergency supply kits are located under every seat."
Musing for thought, the blond haired being wandered down the aisle before turning. "Ah yes, a selection of non-descript clothing has been stored at the rear of the plane. Please feel free to make use of this to disguise you further if you wish. Upon leaving, our estimated time of flight will be one hour and nineteen minutes to Crimson Cove. I could go faster, but you may need the time to prepare and adjust to time differences."
Looking around, the gynoid smiled. "Any questions?" -
((I'd post this elsewhere if I had elsewhere, but with all the players having active forum accounts, it's easiest to have this RP thread here, dealing with the Unity Vigil +2's attempt to rescue Liberty Girl, who went missing in Nerva. Aside from myself, obviously, those involved are:
Gideon, Happy_Dan, ShadowGhost, Shadowe, Tantavalist, CatKeeper and FloatingFatMan.))
The Call
It was three AM when BODICIA, the OverAI of the Unity Vigil, sent out the message to those involved to gather at a penthouse apartment in Steel Canyon. Issuing access authorisation to the heroes as well as information, it allowed them to pass through the doors and then past the secret door into the main part of the penthouse to have access to the portal within.
Said portal would whisk them away to Rolando Island, in the South Pacific, into the darkened cavern under the ocean bed that was attached to Unity Vigil HQ. Situated within was the means of transport BODICIA had arranged for them.
The Unity Wing
At around the length of a Greyhound coach and double the width at the back was a sleek looking aircraft, poised on three landing gears to suspend it off the access elevator surface it was parked on. The wingspan was currently in its compact mode, slid into the side of the ship ready for being moved up to the surface for take off. Dark metal was lined with various field generators and devices, designed to give it a near indetectable status.
Just right for infiltrating part of the Etoile isles on a covert mission.
The interior had seating for eleven at the front, and the rear deployment section had space for at least 12 more sitting. A couple of bathrooms were fitted into the rear section, as well as storerooms for supplies and packing away cargo.
The front part of the plane had the seats set out in a 4-4-3 formation, the pilots seat set into the front of the craft, the rest of its nose extending out from below that point. Touch screens set into the backs of seats, safety features, provision packs and all the other essentials and not so essentials were installed, and it was ready for launch.
Vigilants, the black and white costume clad automatons that assisted the Unity Vigil, were ready to guide the arriving crew from portal to seat, and in the cockpit was sat the now familiar form of Vigilant 84, the prefered avatar of BODICIA, dressed in tight fitting black armour, making all the pre-flight checks.
A seat behind and to the right of her sat Cindersnap, the young hero having plugged his ears into his MP3 player and headphones, his black and orange clad boot tapping on the floor as he mouthed along to the current song on his music player. He seemed slightly nervous, and the tapping and other fidgetting only heightened that perception. -

((Some extracts of text from the Paragon Pride article on Cindersnap))
Ryan talks about coming out as a mutant and coming out as homosexual, and any differences.
"And it's like, a bit similar really that you've got a difference to others, though it's not really that different at all and there's others in your situation, and completely different because I don't think being [censored] means you can set fire to stuff or shoot lasers or fly."
"Personally, I found coming out as a mutant easy in some ways, cause I didn't have to do the whole talk with my family, but not having them to support me either was a bit of a downer... as for if I had to come out as [censored] to them? I think they'd be accepting, cause at the end of the day, they'd love me for being who I am. Shouldn't matter if the person I love is a guy or a girl right?"
"All the friends in the heroing community I've made were really supportive when I came out, and I'm thankful to all my friends for like, putting up with me when I was fretting about it."
On asked about being considered a role-model and idol, and on others:
"Well, it's kinda embarrassing really! But I try not to let it get to my head and everything. There's like, a group of girls who hang around outside my apartment, which is annoying, especially for the other residents, but I've been trying to get them to spend their time better, y'know? I mean, doing community projects and teaching them sign language and all, or even just helping with homework where I can!"
"There's also the schools stuff, which I do due to being a member of the Unity Vigil anyway. I know some people think some talks might be like, trying to convert people, but most of those saying that don't really know what it's about. I mean, I don't say 'Be [censored]!' or whatever, I just explain that it's good to be yourself, y'know? Straight, [censored], bi, whatever, it's not really that big a thing. Being [censored] doesn't hurt people, just like being straight doesn't."
"I've got a lot of respect of others who get out there and just try and help, regardless of how and what. People doing stuff for the good of everyone, that's heroic too."
On his friendship with Crimson Archer:
"Jay's a really great guy, I consider him a good friend and he's certainly been there for me in the past when I've needed guidance. Plus seeing him on the magazine cover like I am now, well, that helped me come to terms with coming out, and I just hope that I can do the same for people. But yeah, we're good friends. There's like, rumours we're more than that, but that's all they are, rumours."
On the Unity Vigil:
"It's like we're a big family, y'know? Everyone's always friendly, and can always count on them to have your back in a fight. They're great friends too, it's nice to spend time with them outside of work or chatting on our commslink. Plus like I said, we do a lot of good community work too, which just makes it more worthwhile."
On acting:
"It's just something that I do to get out and meet people, y'know? More a hobby than a job. I love acting, so it's all a good idea, really!"
"I've been in a couple of plays in the past, I enjoy having the audience there to watch, even if it makes me more nervous! I've had a few tennative offers to appear as a guest star on TV, still kinda considering that though."
"It's kinda funny that my recent part, coming up soon for the Apollo Theatre's modern rendition of Romeo and Juliet has some people going 'You can't have a [censored] Romeo!'. It makes me laugh cause I'm the one who's [censored]! It's not Romeo and Julian! Romeo's still as straight as ever, and I'll be playing him straight. If anyone wants to like, be a critic, come to the play first and then say your piece! Some of the proceeds go to youth activity groups, so it's for a good cause." -
Appearing on magazine stands soon throughout Paragon, Cindersnap continues his path to fame with an appearance in: Paragon Pride - Your GLBT Guide. May 2008 Issue 168.

Well, I know Sis_Kin has her Psychiatrist (Or was that Psychologist? And heck, I did Psychology in college and can't remember the difference!) but that's more a PC one than an NPC. My character Storm Sapphire had one, I need to look up the story to find the name, but she's dealt with supers before.
Aha! Doctor Laura Becker, at the Platinum Lake Priory Centre in Steel Canyon. She's treated Storm Sapphire before, as well as Trebuchet Blue (Well, tried to treat, in any case) and several years ago helped with Cauter's anxiety issues (due to the fact he was a walking fire hazard.)
I think a few other players have used some, I just can't remember the names. I know Love Angel had one too... -
A collection of various headlines in the paper this week:
Apartment Block Vandalized: Guardians of Destiny targetted?
Sunday 16th - In the early hours of Sunday morning, the apartment block of Sara Aegis, member of the Guardians of Destiny, was vandalised by an unknown group. The doorman was knocked unconcious and is currently in a stable condition recovering in hospital, as police wait to question him. This follows on from the attack on the Lakeside Cafe in Atlas Park on Monday, where fellow Guardian of Destiny Nene MacAllister works. Other residents claim to have heard and saw nothing of the attack, and have described the vandalism to be vile and disgusting.
Four Corner Five Escape Jail!
Friday 14th - An Outcast gang calling themselves the Four Corner Five escaped from the Ziggursky Penanteury on Friday in daring jail break, somehow overcoming the power suppressors used on the population. The five gang members were arrested three years ago in connection with a spate of gang related and other crimes, and are considered extremely dangerous. The PPD has set up a reward for any information leading to their capture.
Ancient Relic Recovered
Thursday 13th - Reformed criminals and recent media sensations Nightschild and Cindersnap recovered a rare item of power from the Circle of Thorns. Raiding an underground cave complex, the teenage pair were able to recover the Tome of Ithanka, which MAGI has been searching for since it went missing from their vaults several years ago.
Break-In at Balsim Industries!
Wednesday 12th - An attempted high-tech robbery by the Sky Raider group was foiled by popular young hero Cindersnap. The Unity Vigil member prevented a raid on their Talos Island headquaters where they attempted to steal their latest revision of their pattented Cryonite Armour, the CY9. For his efforts in apprehending the criminals, Balsim CEO David Gerald presented him with a finished version of the CY9 to use in his duties.
Metahuman Mayhem in Perez
Friday 14th - Hellerman's Highway, known by the nickname of 'Hell's Highway' faced trouble on Thursday evening when a metahuman was reported to have destroyed several pieces of public property. A dispatched hero on behalf of the PPD was able to calm the criminal and take them away, but it is unknown as to the identity of who either was. A worried resident stated to the Paragon Star that the individual was a woman in her mid twenties, with long dark hair, glasses, black jeans and a small black top.
Robbery at Audial Industries
Monday 10th - A robbery was reported in the early hours of Monday morning at the Skyway City labs of Audial Industries, working with sound technology. The criminals, believed to be members of the 'Freakshow' gang, are reported to have stole among other things a sonic wave feedback device, capable of blanketing an area in null sound. -
((Trying to work out a date for the conference 'mission' as it were, or could always do it as forum RP, but that might get a little hectic.
Tiger White investigated the film restoration studios and found nothing, looks like trying to lure them out with bait didn't work. She also paid a visit to Dr. Henry Alstrom at PCU Founders Falls, who explained his work on transfering engram patterns from a person to a clone body to avoid complications from mutations, accidents or other such mishaps as a last resort. The doctor seems genuine enough, and was happy to take time out of marking lectures and reports to speak with her.)) -
Tired and troubled by losing their comrade, The Militia members retired to Pocket D. Where Cindersnap, Liberty Girl and Shadowe were enjoying a drink, as they talked over various things including Liberty Girl's application to the Unity Vigil.
Ryan's old friend/enemy/rival Vultimune was there as well, much to Crimson Archer's distaste, and later on, Wavekite's when she discovered just what the ex-UV member was like.
Still, Ryan was glad to see Jay, if rather nervous to meet his colleagues too, and started rambling away to them, mostly Wavekite and later Amber Banshee.
Bidding Liberty Girl and later Shadowe farewell as they left, Ryan was left with the Militia, and soon began talking to Wavekite as Jay went to get a burrito, and in a nervous state of trying to fill the silence, started to tell her about his past with the Outcasts and the MYRS project, but stressed strongly that he was making amends for his past crimes.
When Jay returned, the Militia started talking about business, and then Saffron later.
(Oh, as I recall, Ryan also gave a bit of a talk to Militia members about street drugs, with some interjections from Vultimune, as he recounted part of his day earlier in taking down a bunch of Tsoo selling Rage. It's his 'area' as it were, taking down drug dealers. I really need to get Ryan the 'I Said No To Superadine' badge )
Excusing himself from the discussion, Ryan left to look out of the dancefloor windows, and when Jay found him later to say he was going home, they briefly discussed their dinner date before Jay left, and Ryan headed back to chat a little more to Wavekite.
Last night in Pocket D
Alraune turned up for a drink, and failed in an attempt to drag some lucky young man off home, citing interference on Glitterfrost's part. Next time, Enlightened Falcon, she's a persistant woman.
Instead, she spoke with Josie Ironside about work, business and getting a safe cracked, before heading home.
Number Nine, tired from a day at work and searching for missing girlfriend Dee Dee Diablo, arrived and spoke to old friend Josie about her various problems. Some drinking occurred. As did some light flirting, and offers of a night of anarchy and fun in the Rogue Isles. Nene was a little tempted by that, but decided not to chance anything, and after finishing her rum said goodbye to Josie by way of a hug. And an [censored] grope. Bad Nene, what'll Dee think, when she gets back from being Lost in Time and Space? -
Against Hearts and Minds - ???

Found scrawled on the window of the Lakeside Cafe, Prometheus Park, Atlas Park early monday morning. Similar graffiti addorns the rest of the front windows. -
Against Hearts and Minds - Moon Path/Chlorr
When Chlorr was at a cafe on Talos Island with her daughter Cynthia, enjoying a fine cup of coffee when a black suited woman appeared. Introducing herself as Agent Carona of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, she asked for a moment of Chlorr's time.
Leading her to a car park with a large black car in, the sort you get in high ranking government official envoys, she was ushered in to meet with Agent Geller, an elderly man with a scarred cheek who started to politely ask her about a criminal she may have ties with, along with presenting some rather incriminating evidence!
After asking her about the criminal, The Agent then started to ask questions about Zorielle Rolando and the Unity Vigil. Chlorr was understandably shocked when they said the federal government was investigating her due to various reasons, and when stating that she may have been involved on the attempt on her own life somehow, as a PR stunt or trying to fake her own death. They said it's sometimes happened, and they have to investigate everything.
The Agent told Chlorr of the governments concerns about Zorielle, putting it in a manner that the question asked if she could help with their enquiries was less of a pill to swallow, and striking a deal that involved any footage and camera stills staying out of the law as 'America still needs heroes', they warned her to be more careful of her conduct. -
((Good evening! Right, I'll be running False Faces, False Hearts soon, that's the part of this plot involving the conference. I need to sort out some RP with Solar first, on Moon Path so will be chasing that up now. Give me a heads up for who will be here, and then we can decide on where the mission will be held. Do people have access to IRC clients?
Oh, Sol, seeing as I have a lack of alt spaces at the moment, might be easier to this little thing out of game, you have my MSN still, right?
Against Hearts and Minds will continue with Chlorr next, and then my next target. Uh, victim... uh... wait, those all sound bad.)) -
Early Thursday Morning - The Hollows
Whilst out on a flight over the city, Long SnowFlame came across young hero Cindersnap sitting by himself on the bridge over Red River in Eastgate, looking out into the gulch. The teen had been contemplating and thinking on things, and had come back to the place that marked one of the milestones of his life, in that it was where he spent his last moments of freedom before being arrested three years ago for his crimes with the Hellions.
Long, husband to Ryan's 'BFF' (That's Best Female Friend ) Sister Kinetic, helped Ryan talk though his thoughts and feelings by listening, and discovered the young man had a good head on his shoulders that he had worked out and tried to come to terms with the guilt of the loss of his parents, his brother and the crimes he committed.
Talk moved on to happier things, of weddings, relationships, the importance of friends and family, with Ryan talking candidly to his friend about how much his friends meant to him, and the simple pleasures of just being around them. (He used Nightschild for that example. I always found it cute how they got along, even though they're pretty different in some ways.) The upcoming American-style wedding of Kara and Long had the groom worried, and Ryan moreso for Kara's promise to invite a ton of people found on a [censored] website if Ryan didn't come with anyone.
Talk also found its way to the subject of the object of Ryan's crush, Crimson Archer, with the young man hearing from Long how he reacted to news of Ryan's injuries, and has decided to ask him if he'd like to come with him to their wedding. Y'know, for company and the like. And to ward off the flock of cute [censored] singles that Kara has sworn to invite. He also came up with a plan to finally try and arrange the dinner with Crimson that gets put off and delayed due to mishap and incident on both parts.
After some more chatting and bonding, Long had to leave, and Ryan began the walk home.
Thursday Afternoon
White Warlock, recently returned to the city, made his way to Unity Vigil HQ, the complex under the island owned by the Unity Vigil's leader to meet with old friend and comrade Zorielle Rolando. Glad to have an old hand back with her, the two talked of the attacks, of family life and events, before Zorielle offered Michael the chance to join the Unity Vigil as a Senior Member.
Michael gladly accepted, and he recieved a tour of Unity Vigil HQ, and information on various things in the Unity Vigil, including an introduction to the UV's OverAI, BODICIA. She's only joking when she does the whole superior being skit, right? ... Right?
Thursday Evening
Arrow Azure turned up at Pocket D, and proceeded to make plans on a series of strikes against some buildings in Independence Port. Just what is the newly arrived hero up to? When Love Angel overheard him on the phone to Freedom Corps Logistic Supplies, she offered him some helpful advice on ordering arrows, and told him who to ask for and who to say referred him for some added service. She also wished him luck when he left to do some crime fighting.
Number Nine arrived to find the Silent Tempest and recent Shades of Darkness recruit Cinderfall having an argument over her brother and the location of a missing person, with blue trouble electromagnet (no, not Fusebox) Zeyna having encountered the demon girl and come off worse for it.
After affirming to partner Dee Dee Diablo that she'd defend her honour if needed, and briefly talking to Star Crusader about changes she was going through, reformed villain Laugh Riot (Now known as Headliner) bought her a drink, and the pair got chatting about things, later joined by Big Lunk.
Lunk was offering Headliner a position with the Unity Vigil, and he seemed to have trouble saying Zorielle's name. Zolando indeed. Though that is close to Zoolander.
After some arguments and shouting from the ST, Dee joined Nene for a drink, and was her usual uninhibited self in conversation, with the talk between the four being somewhat risque and damn right disturbing in places. Excusing themselves later, they gathered up an annoyed Diana and headed upstairs, where Xan was talking with Wolf Blade from the New Heroes Union, in the midst of some turmoil between heroes and villains. Getting a call from Light of Truth, the group decided to roll out to Peregrine Island, with Nene and Dee enjoying some brief couple time and chatting before they entered the portal to Pantheon Earth, where the Banished Pantheon reigned supreme.
On a mission of rescue, the group fought valiently through zombies, mystics, shamans and bad tourism gifts of doom, with Light of Truth going to co-ordinate the evacuation while the others slogged through the fight, with some tensions between Wolf, Dee and Diana. Nene knows best to only interfere if needed in Dee's affairs, after all, she -is- proud of how emotionally strong her partner has become.
Later joined by Luna Starbright the group took down Pantheon Earth's version of Adamastor who was thankfully smaller than his Earth Prime version due to the general spread of Pantheon influence, instead of the concentration. Still hurt though, but he was taken down, the refugees rescued, and the group departed.
Meeting Sword of Redemption outside briefly before leaving, Dee and Nene went off to discuss various things, and were seen teleporting away from Portal Corp Courtyard.

Yeah, the forums have been a bit spatzy lately. I always Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C before posting just to make sure.

Against Hearts and Minds - Tiger White
When Tiger White was on patrol on Peregrine Island, her curiousity was piqued when she spotted a sign advertising a 'Peacebringer Support Meeting' outside building. Heading in and up to the Beverly McMire Community Hall on the top floor, she was rather surprised when the woman on the reception desk was rather cold and snippy to her, telling her that her kind wasn't appriciated there. Confused, she left in a bit of a huff, and encountered a man in a dark coat and a hat downstairs, who apparently had the mutant gift of hypersensetive hearing, and convinced her to listen in to make sure they weren't extremists or anything, and to maybe learn something on why people are bigots.
Heading up, Ellie and The Man tuned into the meeting, with Ellie hearing the tales of new members to the group that day. One, who's husband became a Peacebringer and was so wrapped up in it that his kids wondered where their daddy was and if they could have him back.
The next was of a man who lost his brother, who always had been a hero worshipper, when a Kheldian bonded with him and he ended up getting killed fighting crime, despite being a bad choice for partnering.
The last was a woman who lost her child when a Peacebringer went rogue several years ago, and several other people confirmed that they were there as well for that reason. That Peacebringer was Ellie, and while she was not in control of her own body and pronounced not guilty, the guilt still remained and surfaced upon old memories resurfacing.
Upset, Ellie hurried and left, not wanting to hear anymore, while The Man followed her, asking if the families had a choice when people became Peacebringers. When asking her if she had a choice whether to not be one any more, she said it was impossible. The Man told her that he overheard there might be someone who could help, a Doctor Alstrom at PCU Founders Falls. With his piece said, The Man left, leaving Ellie to return home in tears. -

Actually, when you get to level 50 you just have a chance to create a Kheldian, there's nothing implied about your level 50 character becoming one.
