NPC Psychiatrist Required - Apply within.

Okay, so I'm planning a new character and writing project, but I find myself in need of a psychiatrist (for the character, not me!).

I could just create my own NPC, but I thought it might be quite nice to throw it open and see if anyone else has used a psychiatrist NPC for any of their characters. That way I'm using an established NPC with experience of treating superheroic individuals, and tying it in some small way back into our shared gameworld.

So, if you've used a shrink for your hero or villain, written about them, or just referenced them but never really used them, please let me know!

Well, I know Sis_Kin has her Psychiatrist (Or was that Psychologist? And heck, I did Psychology in college and can't remember the difference!) but that's more a PC one than an NPC. My character Storm Sapphire had one, I need to look up the story to find the name, but she's dealt with supers before.

Aha! Doctor Laura Becker, at the Platinum Lake Priory Centre in Steel Canyon. She's treated Storm Sapphire before, as well as Trebuchet Blue (Well, tried to treat, in any case) and several years ago helped with Cauter's anxiety issues (due to the fact he was a walking fire hazard.)

I think a few other players have used some, I just can't remember the names. I know Love Angel had one too...

As with the Tempest, when a Watchmen character needed a shrink, Suzi took her to Heal's Dr. Savannah Parker, a psichiatrist who specialises in super-hero cases. Thus we didn't need a true NPC. Sorry.

One of my super characters is a part-time psychologist. As a super herself she's very understanding.
