  1. I really hope this is not all of the info we are getting this week.

I also like that Vet rewards are continuing.
  2. I have spewed, and received a ton of venom on this board over the years. When the Hero and Villain boards combined it was at it's worst. So it is really not that new. You should look at the suggestions board too, that can get really ugly for some reason.
  3. There are a ton of costume items I would NEVER use, that dosen't mean I don't like seeing them on other people's creations. Animated tails would be great, and perhaps that tech could lead to other things I may would use.

I am still looking forward to the hinted at news of the week.

That's cool. I hope it is a good one, and not "we re tooled the V-day event."

I really think PP is right in one respect, the marketing dept could do more. This is a great game, with loyal customers, of which I am one, but I have a deep dislike for teh marketing dept of this game. I know that is rather sad as I have never met any of them, but that is the way of things.

I want more info. I look at the GR page daily to see if it has changed at all, and it hasn't. Tyrant's bio still says coming soon, crap they didn't even add the Hero con info to the page.

A little info every week is not too much to ask, shoot, this community would be happy with just screen shots of new costume items. No need for major system details, I know I could be sustained on that.

If the marketing debt dosen't read these boards, that is really sad. They should know what we are looking for, because we are the vocal members of this community. The VOCAL players of this game. We are free advertising, because it has been proven we are more than willing to talk about this game.

I just don't get it, and I have felt that way about the CoX marketing dept for years. It seems the new people want to stick to Cryptic's same old "soon" standard. I am a CoX fanboi, and I feel this way. So how does this lack of info affect thos who are not as loyal as many of us are?

I'm not really anxious, I just like bagging on Marketing people.

You joke. I know people who really feel this way. In truth, some days I do.

  8. Any one know what is going on with the servers last night and today? Virtue is now down again it seems.
  9. I transferred 3 characters From Triumph to Virtue last month. Two on my account, and one on my Spawn's account. I am STILL happy with this, because it means I can move more characters around for FREE.

I just can't for the life of me see why this is a bad thing in any shape or form.

This could be great for role playing. "I am from OUTER SPACE I DON"T UNDERSTAND YOU.. and I am thinking you don't understand me..." :/

I almost wish I could move one to the Euro servers.

I hope the former, but i fear the latter. We shall see...

I know I, and much of the group I am in (HUB, and FL) were in the process any way. I think this will have it happen much quicker. I moved 6 toons off of Triumph today.

This. Some of you are singing it already. If you want to stay where you are, do so. I am going to take advantage of it. I will just buy more slots. If it gives the game more money so be it. Sometimes things are just good.

I am sorry you Eu people can't move, I wish you could too.
  14. This is a good way to "merge" servers w/o actually merging them. Those who wanted the merger can now move their toons around freely, and perhaps not post on it again.

Only problem I have is it will require me to buy more character slots on the server I am moving to. I wish there was a way to move the slots I have purchased also.
  15. Hey all. This is my live build on Virtue now. I plan to do the second build +def based, where this one is meant to be more offense based. I would like to stick Ragnarok in shock wave. I use ninja run and sprint for my travel power (60+ mph).

I would like to get an idea of what others may have done different, and soem advice on building the +def alternate build.

  16. I bought the Super Science pack because my brute discovered too late that 6' 5" is short in paragon city. I had bugged Babs for months (really a little over a year) about the Height slider in the tailor. So when it was offered, there was no way I was not buying it.

All of the packs have been more than worth 10$ to me, this is my favorite though.

As for those complaining about ninja run, you have the option to purchase it just as the rest of us did.

I for one like micro transactions. They allow for overtime and extra staff above and beyond what is normally there for development. I am with that.
  17. My Spawn wanted an account a few years ago for his B-day. It also allowed me to transfer stuff if my SG mates were not on.
  18. Most mods are stored client side, which means just because you have it, dosen't mean they do. In the early days a friend of mine ran a mod to make himself look like Spiderman, all I saw was one of the most idiotic looking costumes I have ever seen (that is saying a ton in this game).

I personally am not a fan of it. When I play SP games I hack, mod, and cheat all the time, and because of that lose interest. I can't help myself, I just do it. I continue to play this game and have for 5+ years because it remains pure. I can't cheat my way to the top, and I like that.

If it is mutant-themed... it's hard to imagine the costume pieces being anything other than 'mutant' arms and legs and heads. Even the mutants in comics wear normal or tights or tech-based outfits.
    Ever heard of the Morlocks?
