Hey there,
My ruptor hit 37 last night and so the question of which patron to pick is gonna need an answer pretty soon.
I was first thinking about GW for soul drain (damage cap+Ice Storm / Blizzard anyone ?) but reading that it has a 4 minutes recharge makes me think it's kinda meh after all.
There's also Scirocco and his Endurance drain which seemed a massive must have a few levels ago but I'm having less and less end issues as I tend to 2 shot most mobs anyway (God has a name, and that name is Bitter Ice Blast).
So, which patron to pick ?
Note that the idea of summoning one of those arachnobots tickles my fancy, but I find the mace ugly =/
All in all there's only mako who doesn't really interest me,but then again I've never seen those powers in action.
So, advice anyone ? Can't make up my mind -
Blizzard is great, you can wipe out a group of orange cons easily if you 3 slot it for dmg
Just EF/LR the mobs, stand in there with choking cloud on, and slap Ice Storm + Blizzard, then count the bodies, the exp and the infamy -

Had to find something to takeout so conductive shield could get in and decided to remove build up.
Any comments on the slotting other than for the attacks btw ? -
First of all, bear in mind that I've never played a Brute before, just seen quite a few in action
I'm leaning more towards a DPS brute than a tank, but still more than likely messed up the build (didn't take hasten for instance, or anything in the fighting pool...)
Please help me turn this into a decent PvE build

Well, since I slot ET with the rchg and acc first, I'll see how much of an end drainer it turns out to be and adjust the slotting to dmg instead if need be

Taking the Heal pool instead of health/stam is up for debate, I haven't played a stalker before, not sure on the end cost of the attack chains. -
Hello folks,
For my second toon I'd leaning towards a stalker and want to try out something less common than all the martial arts and ninja blades I see everyday. That leads me to spines, secondary pool is still to be decided but I'm thinking Ninjutsu atm.
I'm aiming towards more PvE than PvP although not being canon fodder in PvP is always nice.
First question is, how viable/fun is a Spines/Nin stalker ?
Second question, anyone got a nice build for it ? Tried to find one on the US boards and here, but didn't find much, looks like spines aren't that popular, or I just plainly suck ar searching.

Well, FB is situational, just gonna use it when soloing and packing mobs in a tight spot with the rad AEs, hence the massive +dmg on it.

Don't slot Lingering Radiation with slow, the enemy is probably capped to crawl when you have hit your ice attacks and LR. The slows in it only debuff the speed.

Well, at first I didn't take FR because my wife had it on her corruptor, and now she rerolled a MM. But it all comes down to me not being much support focused, so skipping it for now, might come back in a later respec.

It is underslotted indeed, but it's on purpose. My wife's MM is ninja/dark, heals are pretty nicely covered with her

Aye, my partner just rerolled a MM, so leadership with tactics is a given now.
So far I don't miss so much that I want to switch one more acc in there, and the big numbers brought by 3 dmg make my day every time Bitter Ice Blasts gets a scourge
Only thing i'm regretting right now is not having Frost breath yet (took me a while to decide between BIB and FB at level 18), would be really nice when packing mobs with RI and EF. -
No choking cloud indeed, too much of an endurance hogger for me..

I've created my Ice/Rad template using War's template from the US boards as a base.
Keep in mind that I rarely solo, almost always team up with an Ice/Kin corruptor who has Free Ray. PvP is not a concern atm, I'll look at a possible respec for that later.

As you can guess I like doing damage, lots of it, and that's the goal of this build. So far after 16 levels it's holding out pretty nicely, although it can be quite a strain on the endurance sometimes, but not enough to take Stam/Health earlier imo.
