  1. I had a reply all set and ready, but then I got trapped in this confounded box!

    *Shakes her prison.* Lemmeouttathisbox!

(Sidebar: It looks good to me!)
  2. That is true on so many levels...

My only suggestion, though, is you go back and add text later in an image-manip program instead. Or... perhaps a different font, if you did. *Squint.* Can't tell, and that's probably because I can't focus at the moment.

    Good besides, though!
  3. Yanno. I have a quote for this... but I can't really say it on the boards.

So I'm just going to walk away very fast now. >.> And hope I don't end up with any candid shots of -me- in the near future.
  4. That's nice. :O

    And oh-so-shiny! Yaaay, shiny things!
  5. Being able to admit when one is wrong is probably one of -the- most redeeming qualities out there, Mist. Doing so publically and saying your sorry is also something not a lot of people would really do.

Being as Feral Kat doesn't have a problem with what happened (and sounds like she's a little sorry about it as well, I think. But I'm medicated, so don't quote me on that), then I say it's best forgotten entirely. Nobody's hurt, everyone's coo'.. Best to dedicate thought to more fun things, I say.

    Like muffins. Discuss!

Only if you do it wrong.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    While creepy, that -is- true...

Though, if you stalk right, would your victim know it? And wouldn't that sort of defeat the overall purpose of getting them to notice and appreciate you?

The questions are manifold! Or something. You try thinking while sick, medicated, and burning up. >.>
  7. Stalking is indeed a punishable offense in many places.

    >> And yay! Another big shiny art-site for me to stare at for inspiration to either pick up or burn my poor artistic skills!

Also, from what I (briefly) saw, it looked very well done. But the heat prevents me from actually doing more then glance at the moment... I'm curious, idly, as to what it's coded in. I'll have to investigate syntax.

Edit: Ah, Java. The wave of t3h future. Sweet.

    pic just pencils

Tres adoreble! (Disclaimer: I took a year of French in HS as a filler-credit. I'm allowed to bork it up! *Flash license.*)

I'll have to glance at it again... but, still, a very cute piece and nicely done.

a duo PICTURE!!! Sheesh. What's wrong with you people :P

    >_> Do you want a comprehensive list, or was that a rhetorical question? ^_^

    [/ QUOTE ]

I hope it was rhetorical, because this thread could take the next several days answering that question.. and probably get a few of us banned for answering.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I would post a PG version, I swears!

Hey Kat, let's go over to Juggy's door and moan too !

Maybe he'll do us a duo

That made the Perv-O-Graph hit a new high. O_O
  12. (Hmm.. may have to think of something while my brain's melting at work today. Really neat idea!)
  13. *Blank stare.*

    I have not words...

For how neat that looks. :O
  14. Heh. I tend to plan out fight-scenes in my head all the time, so I kind of got the whole battle-progression thing down. Comes in real handy when writing action-y sequences for short stories!

Though, you could always go for a 'defeated' part at the end, hero standing triumphant... But, honestly, I think the reversal would be far more fun and interesting. PUNY HERO, YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!

...Woops. Channeled my inner villain. >>
  15. Sorry. I kind of got distracted by that first image...

But! In all seriousness, I think you could possibly do a hold-break for the last panel, or a flip to get her out of it. I think it'd be pretty neat for a quick comic-strip myself, and certainly has the potential for it.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
    Heh, he's a hero.
And I realize the pose isn't very exciting. This is the first time I've ever really colored anything like this in Photoshop, so I did the drawing quick so I could get to the coloring.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh, that's not a -bad- thing given the overall feel of the image I'm getting. It's kind of an imperious hover... Floating down (or up) to loom over one's opponents.

Or maybe that's just me. >_>
  17. Very nice! Crisp, clean lines and the coloring is good.

It's a bit flat, pose-wise, but given the overall feel of the image, that's not -too- bad. Looks kind of like a cinematic cover for something. One of those villainous 'Oh yeah, I rock' poses.

Or a similar one for an anti-hero... I make no assumptions!
  18. 'When I told you that you put your foot in your mouth, man, I didn't mean it as a -suggestion-!'
  19. Man, and I -just- got my urge to start drawing again back recently...

Took the wind 'neath my sails, TA! Took it like a THIEF!

That piece of art ninja'd my heart. So, so nice.
  20. Well, you lot have me convinced.

Time to dig out ye olde arte pad and see if I can't turn my own artistic skills from 'suck' to 'not-quite-suck'...

Just wish I had time between sleeping, eating, and gaming. >_>

Edit: To the OP, in regards to drawing something 'wrong'... There is no such thing as 'wrong' in art. If -you're- happy with what results, and how it results... What the heck does everyone else's opinion matter? Unless you're getting paid to do it, hell with everyone else. They can offer insight and advice, but if you're fine with something... Just don't take it.
  21. I wouldn't exactly call that 'horrible'. Infact, it seems like you have a fair amount of detail work down, but position/pose/posture/etc. seem to be an area that you're having trouble with. I don't know what your art-book collection entails, but I think if you find some beginner-level books on drawing anatomy (in your collection or somewhere else) and practice real hard... You can start to progress.

Of course, the main factor in progression in anything is believing you can in the first place. Think positive. Don't let small failings get you down. If you don't have a natural 'talent' for drawing, it takes longer to develop the skills. It happens. Don't get discouraged! Stiff upper lip!

And if it makes you feel any better, I get told all the time I'm a -fantastic- writer, but I don't believe any of it. Oh, sure, I do passable in short-stories, but when it comes to longer pieces of work, I fail horribly. And I -really- want to write something that'll last more then just a few snapshots in time. On top of that, my artistic skills leave a lot to be desired...

Keep it up. Hard work pays off, good things come to those that can wait, and patience in all things is a virtue. Good luck, fledgling artist!
  22. Depending on what you're going with, actually, I wouldn't just create a whole new image.

What I usually do for stuff like that is create (or steal..) the desired background for what I wanna go with, then paste everything onto it as appropriate. But that's just my helpful little nudge there.

Other then that, I think Fueled has the situation covered!
