I think it's very admorable to come on and apologize if you really feel that way but from what I ahve seen, theres alot worse out there. Also this fanart community has got to be the best place to be on these forums. I never have had any problems with anyone here and I love how all the artists help each other out with mature critiques (sometimes immature but not often).

I was not offended at all. It was clear that people were posting what they thought about the subject, and not about me.
I was a bit upset and yes, a little bewildered at first because it seemed like some of the artists I really liked and respected were unhappy with me personally because of a suggestion I made. There was a post or two that almost made me cry, because I felt that like I have tried to be a really suportive cheerleader for this part of the coh community and that my suggestion was being scoffed at.
But, I got over it and realized that people were talking more about how they felt about the subject and not about me. I also realized that I was posting my opinion as to what people should do as if I was some sort of authority just because I had been around here longer then others. No one really should tell anyone else how they should or shouldn't post.
It is very gracious of you to try to explain where you were coming from. But you certainly don't owe me an apology.
Now, let's get back to sharing and appreciating art!

Being able to admit when one is wrong is probably one of -the- most redeeming qualities out there, Mist. Doing so publically and saying your sorry is also something not a lot of people would really do.
Being as Feral Kat doesn't have a problem with what happened (and sounds like she's a little sorry about it as well, I think. But I'm medicated, so don't quote me on that), then I say it's best forgotten entirely. Nobody's hurt, everyone's coo'.. Best to dedicate thought to more fun things, I say.

First of all, kudos to having the courage to stand up and apologize for a perceived transgression on your part. Even if it isn't as bad as you thought, you still wanted to make sure that there were no hard feelings.
Secondly, kudos to Kat for her understanding on the matter...
What's more, I feel, while it would be a unique occurrence in the other boards and the response would be less than understanding, that here it's not as surprising.. because everyone here is that high a caliber of individual.
Mind you, I'm not complaining about any poster in any forum.. I just think that the people in this little corner are among the best.
