Okay... I think one of the things we need to bare in mind, is people's budget. We're going to meet up with a lot more people then back in Brighton, when there were only 8 of us.
If we are going to go for something like an Oriental restaurant, we need to make sure all food requirements are met.
What seems like the best option at the moment, is that we perhaps get together during the afternoon, and go scout around town a bit (We can have a bimble, have a drink in one or two pubs along the way or something), and see what takes people's fancy. I am certain we can all agree on something that takes all of our fancy.:-) -
Might give it a shot (singing it), if I can get the timing right, might take some practice.
I like it a lot, well done Fire. :-)
But I admit I was expecting 'We will rock you' by Queen as well. -
I should be well up to 50 by then, and heck, you have to try everything once. Count me in.
-
Ica't figure out how to add mine. *Sniff*
Okay, I should perhaps add that Liz's technophobia isn't too far from her player's mindset on it. -
Agreed with Cassy. I think this belongs under Suggestions, not in Creative.
Just ask Bridger to move it for you by sending him a pm. :-) -
Okay, I -have- been holding back on the feedback at part one, but I shan't now, as you requested it. ;-)
I'm intrigued, very intrigued... and if part 3 isn't finished by Sunday evening, I shall personally track you down in Norway and make you write it!
Good writing, a gripping style as per usual with the other stories I've seen from you and most of all; originality. Keep up the good work, Leif! -
Yeah, drag Frozen down too! It would be great to see you, Darkie, and before you know it, it'll be summer and you will be able to join us again.
Oh, and most of us -still- have not managed to make it to 50. Silently, this is a tribute to you. -
Mario and Luigi, the Festini brothers. I remember them all too well.
-
Darkie, you evil so and so!!! We're going to be away over the weekend, the one weekend you're back... please come back to us soon properly... Prize has come back, Fury is coming back... Before long, we'll have the whole old gang back together again! ;-)
-
I wasn't planning to without counting heads first
-
Nah, we can fit up to 5 people in the landy. Jen and Paul are taking their own car, and can fit one or two, so it's all doable so far. :-)
-
Any time, and you are more then welcome to. Would be a royal pain in the backside if you couldn't make it, but we'll hope the best for it!
-
From Liverpool? Don't be daft, Morgan. If we're going with 2 cars anyway, come to Manchester and we'll give you a lift. ;-)
-
And thanks to you, Inny, I now have 'Kitten is Angry' in my head again... *ARGH's too! *
-
The ultimate showdown, between the stuck up old grump, and the skimpily dressed exotic dancer gone superhero!
-
Aha! Well, at least I know the days you will be present now, and -will- bring Star out promptly at 21h on Monday, that's a solid promise. ;-)
-
Awww, Prize, can you -please- come in with Eddie tonight, I will drop by with Star, cross my heart and hope to die. Someone is doubting all of us!
-
Auwch, my sympathies. I shall endevour to wear a short skirt then, so as to lessen the burden of the memory of anyone who can be worse then the CoH version of Eddie Munt.
-
Hey, Jen and Paul aren't the only Mancs, Inny!
We could, actually, do an overall meet up at some point in Manchester, quite a few of us live here anyway. :-) -
Actually, Nevermore killed two kids, of about 10 years old, in the Orbis plot.
-
I actually mentioned that in combination to the character the OP discribed, which is more a fallen hero rather then an anti hero. :-)

Ok I admit that I see no issue with playing a "hero" type character in CoV, as such a character can in my eyes be played in COV without having to ignore game plot, or forcing a different interpretation of the game on other players and thus somehow ruining their game.
[/ QUOTE ]
For plot reasons, as an NPC, I see no reason why you cannot make a hero. However, as a standard PC? No, heroes have nothing to do with CoV, jut as villains have nothing to do with CoH, apart from being an NPC in someone's plot. Or, unless they totally turn around to become either a hero in CoH, or a full blown villain in CoV.

What I want to know is why is there such a bad reaction to characters like this?
[/ QUOTE ]
For the simple fact that the game is not built for that. It is City of Villains, not City of maybe-not-so-bad-baddies/fallen goodies. Sorry, but this isn't grey, it's black, or white, the way I see it.
[ QUOTE ]
I have a character who fits into the possilbe "anti-hero" or "fallen-hero" concepts,a character who was once a hero but ended up commiting some pretty major crimes (murder, assault, murder) and was locked up in the zig...
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry, but this makes him what, exactly? A villain in my book.
[ QUOTE ]
This char views himself as a hero, his goals are the same but his methods have changed, and he firmly beleives that he is above normal laws and morals hence why he can do what ever he wants..
[/ QUOTE ]
I take that back; a psychopath villain.
Sorry mate but all you've done is point out that your character is in fact a villain, not an anti-hero. :-) -
What? Eddie is actually based on a real person? *Bursts out into helpless laughter*
Should I wear something akin to Star's old outfit then? -
I thought the subject was to be dropped in respect of the OP... *Not at all amused*
You want my two cents? It's pure and simple godmodding, no matter how you do it and look at it, it is godmodding, which in turn ruins other people's fun. What right do you have to do so? None what so ever.
So, can we all just drop the subject and really respect the OP's request? Thank you.
