Augh, now all I can smell is coffee.
...And yet, it was worth it, and I hope this experience teaches me to stop drinking while forum-surfing! -
Yanno, I looked through this three times, and just NOW realized I forgot to do the thing I came in specifically to do each time.
Very nice piece! I'm always faskinated by just how well Graver does watercolor. -

I'd almost say she looks too grumpy..
But, seriously. If I were dead, I'd be pretty grumpy about it and everything else, too.
Very spiff, and great work! -

Grats to the winners! And back to the drawing board for me. I really need to stop being such a perfectionist.. really cuts into my ability to actually practice art. >.> -
True enough.
It just annoys me, because I can sort of make out the shapes in my head, but just can't seem to translate them quite the way I want to in regards to paper. >.>
Eh, something that just takes practice, time, and focus. Oddly, I do better at fuller models then I do stick-figures, and may just mess around with those a bit more. -
Spent forever trying to come up with a pose I could actually sketch out somewhat in my head...
And failed miserably.
This is why I don't draw! -

Hey! Something in-line with my artistic non-talents!
But.. which character to butcher horribly with my bad art skillz.
Gimme a few hours, I'll probably settle on something. e.e -

That's a DOODLE?
Sheesh!
Very nice, though. Super nice, at that. Or, perhaps, super-villainy nice. -
Hands, faces, feet. <.< The hardest things to really draw right, for most people. So, don't feel too bad. You are doing pretty good, though!
Consistency can help a bit, too. -
I'd say facial diversity is also something that could use a little work.
Still, you're definately showing signs of improvement. And leagues beyond what I can manage to scrawl. >.> -
Twooo daaaaays, as of last deadline posting, people. Get'em in! :3
-
Very nifty! And with a suitably old-skool kind of look to it.
-
Couldn't tell uncolored, but it turned out SO CUTE.
Overall a very nifty piece, though. Makes me want to consider rolling another alt...
...Not like this is a hard thing to accomplish, as I do this on my own 3-4 times a week. <.< -
Very cute! And oddly sexy.
And is that a Dragonberry tattoo on her arm? (Chinrub..) Hmmm. -

Some good stuff, and it's certainly nifty to see you back.
Then again, I have a really odd memory cycle. Last time I was around was.. 2 years ago, and I still sorta-kinda remember names.
And yet.. I can't remember if I had breakfast this morning. Ooooeeeooo.

That'd definately be an.. 'Oh sweet mother of monkeys.' moment in my book.
I have enough of a handful with one of those darn things, let alone three AND friends. :x
Also, very nice shot. Looks very close encounter. -
Super-spiffy. That's ten times the normal amount of spiffy!
I gotta start writing down names for when I get a steady job again... -
... Sweet beans in a basket.
That's pretty rockin', if I must say so. The colors are all used very well, and I think my only quibble is that you could potentially increase the overall visual effect with a different chest bit (not the Vanguard detail, but the part under it) that would flow a bit better. Though, I'm not 100% on that.
Either way, it's VERY nice. -
He wasn't reading anything. Just abusing people!
It's what barbarians do. -

Hey! I call foul.
Barbarians can't read! :3

Exactly. He's freakin' perplexed about all the books.

...Carry on, then. -
Hey! I call foul.
Barbarians can't read! :3
I may or may not enter the contest this time around. >.> Been focusing on levelling here lately, and trying to catch up to my friend who, at the current time, has.. 20 levels on me.
But some good entries so far! -
After messing around for a bit... If you can find a sleeveless jacket top that works for you (Motorcycle 1 and Leather fit my view on it), the Leather Straps chest option works pretty nice (no feathers though. :/). Some of the other stuff I couldn't really fit right in my head, though, but I got something semi-decent..
...But that's the only noteworthy part that stuck out in my head. Everything else is really more fiddling to taste, really. -

Uhh, they're called Indians.

Politically incorrect term based off of an assumption made by a lost explorer, that somehow stuck. >.>
Back on topic.. I never really thought about how to do the whole 'ethnic' Native American thing with particular characters (I lean more towards Asia).. Makes me wonder if theirs plans in the works for specific costume pieces in this area.
I'll have to ponder it a bit, though, using the current stuff.
