I want to walk just because I can't do it already, and after 5 mins of it I imagine I'll be bored of the slow pace and run everywhere again lmao.

Seriously though, from an RP perspective I can see why people have always wanted this but for the work it'll take I doubt we'll see it any time soon.

I have seen tons of threads about people complaining about jack spawn times this year, I didn't make it up, do a search, ask around, people have spent double the time this year compared to last, jack has always been a pain to get but this year it's been a joke for some.

The times are wrong, the badge is bugged, that isn't a delay my very outspoken friend, it's a bug! doesn't need more effort to attain, it needs a fix, did you not understand that part?.

They released something that wasn't working as intended, climb out of the devs [censored] for 5 mins and maybe you will see the light.

As for your rewards.

* Costume drops - These are temp, and most of them bugged, same as last time, remember last years event? or was this your first?
* Inspire drops - tier 1? lmao, I can buy these any time
* Costume slot salvage - I can buy these all year round, or simply log one of my other toons that has them stock piled from the last few years events
* XP - I can get this anywhere, all year
* Inf - See above, I can get more of this elsewhere anytime, all year
* Prestige - See above
* Recipie drops - TFs grant better rewards, not events
* Salvage drops - I can get this all year

The rewards you should have mentioned are the event specific ones, costume piece (has a color bug according to some), 4 new badges (easier to attain with working invasion times), ToT badges (again, one is broken, not delayed, it's bugged) GM monster badges (again, spawn times broken on jack)

So all you did with your post was jump in open your mouth and not actually know what you where talking about, good job!

Not working "quite" as intended? If you bought a CD from a store and you got it home and several tracks wouldn't play, would you take it back to the store and ask for compensation/refund? or would you praise the production company and simply settle for your borked product?

Try seeing it from someone elses point of veiw before you attempt to attack others posts, Next time atleast bring some valid points to the argument, just because you open your mouth, doesn't mean anything interesting will come out.

Listen, because I have a concience I go away from the forum thinking I've upset someone then feel bad for it lol, so let me explain my issues a little more so you know where I'm coming from.

I'm only 27 but I have a busy life, 2 kids, a demanding job, a demanding fiance lol, and very little time time to enjoy this game, to explain further I get to play for one night, every three nights, and during this session I usually get 2-4 hours of play.

So in a two week period I get to play four times, 2-4 hours a time, So for this event it is impossible for me to get every badge on every toon and experience everything I want unless things are working as they should, any delays or bugs hinder me totally and I don't get the experience I pay for, these delays have meant I've spent 2 nights on the same toon trying to get one badge only to find out some days later that it was a waste of time.

Get what I mean? I get little time and I feel it's been wasted and all I got was a "sorry, try again next year".

If it where me, I would have done the follwoing.

Fixed the times on the invasions and jack before people started getting annoyed with it, if it took too long to adjust this I would have made the event last a few days longer to compensate players wasted time.

I would have given everyone who logs in during this event the buster badge if it would take too long to fix.

Bend a few rules to make your paying customers happy, thats good customer service, thats good management.


All I see is mistakes, and apologies, imo thats not good enough, as a paying customer, I expect a working product, If I don't recieve a working product I expect compensation of some sort or a refund, not a "sorry".

I don't mean to go on, I just want people to understand my personal frustration.

ONE badge not being able to be collected properly is half? Let me check my math: 1/15 = .5 ...Nope, it seems fine.

(If you include Jack, then it would be TWO whole badges. 15 of course is the number of Halloween badges.)

If you are refering to the slightly botched Invasion schedule, then, well, you have a bit more of a point... but not much. The event, as far as I can tell, does work, it does appear. Maybe not as often as intended in certain areas, but it does work and you can indeed experience it.

Compared to the last few years I'd say this one was a failiure, and I've attended them all.

I'm not being bitchy and I'm not over reacting, I just think going off the "test", it was not released without actual testing. It seems peoples test results where ignored before release and there is nothing they can do about it.

The event has been almost awesome, one thing I have to say though.

The Buster badge, Spirits just aren't spawning, two full days of farming I got all the badges for this event in the first couple of hours, 2 full days later and I still have no buster badge. Threads about this are all over this forum, I think it's the only issue with the event as a whole.

On a ligheter note, Zombie invasions are full of win!!

((This is an introduction to my main The Plutonium-Blaster, his career started 4 years ago, and thats how long this bio has been gathering dust, I edited it upon CoVs release to add some more game specific villains, I posted it recently elsewhere on the board but I'd like to post it here amongst you roleplayers to see what you think.

This is the begining of the story, if anyone likes it I'll continue the story from now up to the extraction of his darkside and the creation of the Dark-Plutonium (my warshade and pluto double), And also his revenge against the villains that destroyed his human life and created his super one so, read it, let me know what you think ))

Dr. Vincent Rayne was once a nuclear biochemist and atomic physician, after the first Ritki invasions he led a team of scientists into the war zone and by chance came across a strange organism, after many months of testing in an underground lab he discovered that the organism, albeit not living, when using plutonium as a base energy source this organism would consume any atomic structure known to man, becoming one with it and to put it bluntly, It could devour anything.

Working alongside British government officials, he named his find "Rayneite" (pronounced Rain-e-ite) and offered up a new system of disposing of nuclear materials, a completely safe, environment friendly way of disposing of some of the worlds most dangerous substances. Seeing this as a way to save billions in stock piling these substances, word spread fast through the worlds top leading officials and a demonstration was asked for in front of several representatives of the United Nations. This was Vincent’s legacy, an opportunity to change the world for the better, but little did he know that word of this amazing organism had reached key figures in Arachnos, how much would criminal organisations be willing to pay for a substance that could destroy any piece of evidence, any trace of life?

Demonstration day came, 2 minutes before the ceremony begun, Vincent proposed to his colleague and childhood sweetheart Nicola Svanski, she said yes and he was about become one of the worlds greatest scientists, set in stone, his name in history and the woman he loved at his side forever. the presentation begun, huge machinery turned and twisted and opened to reveal a green gas moving freely in a large glass compactor, Vincent explained the process as he poured in the plutonium, the gas reacted becoming a solid yet moving fluid, shapeless and reactive, now for the nuclear materials, just as he poured in the materials the back wall of the room exploded, brick, smoke and bodies flew in all directions, amongst the smoke and the screams appeared several armed figures, led by a monster of a man named Black Scorpion, he was Arachnos, and he was mighty.

Several key U.N. figures where taken out through the hole, as was the team of scientists under Vincent Rayne, including his beloved fiancé, the rest where told to stay, "You will not take her!" Vincent shouted as he charged at black scorpion, "You will not address me little man" black scorpion said as he smacked Vincent to the floor, "But please Dr Rayne, continue with your demonstration" he said, "in fact I think we need a human subject, congratulations, you just upgraded . . . from fodder, to entertainment" and with this he lifted Vincent off the ground with his huge mechanical tail and lashed him across the room and into the compactor.

As Vincent kneeled in the bottom of the compactor, as the lid shut and he saw the silent screams of his beloved, he reached out his arms and gave out a spine chilling scream. Scrambling franticly around for an escape, he noticed something was wrong, the materials had become unstable, the machinery was smoking, on fire, the rayneite had merged with the materials but it was glowing, crackling like a violent spark, a sphere of pure unstable energy, growing, becoming more volatile by the second, the rayenite went nuclear, his skin began to flake off and fall to the ground, the heat and pain was unbearable, the rayneite reached out to him, devouring him from the feet up, next was an eye shattering crack of light and then complete darkness . . . .

British newspapers read of weapons testing underground that caused over 5 miles of land to collapse and be swallowed into the earth, "weapons testing" they said, no one mentioned nuclear weapons, 10 square miles of British countryside destroyed in an instant.

Over the next several weeks there was reports coming in of a ghost in the area, a man could be heard screaming from time to time, or crying, a shadowy corpse looking figure would be seen crawling across the ground and then simply vanish, or walk through a wall.

Light now, blinding as Vincent opened his eyes for the first time, he awoke amongst what he thought was a war zone, he was screaming and he didn't know why, naked, he felt like his whole body was on fire, glowing, he stood up on new legs, he looked down at his perfect shape, he had rebuilt himself, but better, bigger, stronger. When the raynite consumed his atomic structure, it awoken something in his DNA, something super, the nuclear blast should have blown him to ash but it didn't, the raynite had protected him, it had merged with that violent nuclear power and made him into something more than human, he was about to join the ranks of the super humans. He thought of how to find his fiance and take his vengeance against those that did him wrong, the legendary Plutonium-Blaster was about to be born, and this was just the begining.

What time zone are you in? I'm in the u.k. and my play times clash completely with 80% of the servers I play on. My advice would be to make your own teams, and a tip for salvage, all you have to do is make a note of the highest selling salvage on the auctions, examine every mob you fight "target mob, see info" and look at what they drop. Here you can make a list as long as your intestines!, simply try to kill the ones that drop the good stuff, thus building your chance for decent drops. as the money builds up try and pimp your character a little bit, look at the section of the forum that your power sets match and follow the guides in there. ask questions, ask for guides, It'll come, trust me.

That was the long and hard way for salvage seeking. Easier way would be to kill alot of circle of thorns for the salvage they drop, fast money. ^_~

As far as playing crap hours, make your own teams, no matter what time there is always someone somewhere looking for team, always! I did advise upping your difficulty but it looks like you ran into some trouble, understand that some power sets are late bloomers so you are always going to struggle untill all your powers come together, you are a scrapper I believe so all your problems shoould lessen as you level.

Follow the guides, trust me some of the information shared on this forum is golden, we have some extremely smart and exerienced players in this game that don't mind sharing their knowledge.

I'm a casual player and I've been floating around this game for 4 years on and off, take my advice with a pinch of salt, it's based on my personal experiences only, there may be advice out there that is 10 times better than what I just offered, keep looking and don't get disheartend

Up the difficulty on missions, fight tougher mobs, farm the mobs that drop the highest selling salvage, Honestly I had millions on my main in his late twenties purely from farming particular salvage and lucky costume piece drops or rare recipes, even on alts I make now, I have atleast 5 million by level 20 and some of them are really unlucky, took me 4 years of on and off play to get a 50, don't stress! take your time and enjoy it, learn the mobs, the drops, you'll get more out of it in the long run!!!

Experience can't be bought and it is worth a thousand rare IO sets!
