I agree. It is incredibly hard to find people to duel, and when you do find one, 90% of the time is a purpled dp fire/em blaster.

I'd be game to try Ownage's sugestion of making some kind of "gimp" dueling ladder with none of the top tier builds in it.

Immortal was on JAL heroe roster back in January, but as far as I know he was not on any of the villain ladder rosters, therefore I believe that the 1 week rule applies here. For our heroe roster the 2 week rule would apply. If this is incorrect, somebody pls let me know.

You sound like you have some learning to do young grasshoppa, but don't worry, hopefully you'll find a group that will help you climb the learning curve.

I sugest you save your post above, so that you can laugh at yourself in a year or so, about how green of a n00blet you were when you first started.

It would help if you post a list of all your lvl 50 PvP worthy characters like ill/kin controller, or emp/psi defender, etc.

Best of luck, and welcome to test server PvP. Always good to see new blood coming in.

woah...I did get your email, but rescheduling is out of the question for a team in which almost every player is a member of an organized test server PvP group with totally different practice nights and times.

Face it...the date that was agreed for TPvPL was Tuesday at 10pm eastern. If YOU signed up for that, you are responsible for your attendance. Don't be putting the blame on others for YOUR inability to attend the regular time.

I do rather play the matches and not win by forfeit, but it is up to your team to show up for it at the regular time.

FYI infinity is a totally different beast. You had to invest some time and or money to get there if you were not already on infinity and consisted of mostly dedicated test PVPer's with a different goal.

My goal was to introduce new people to test pvp and yeah that meant taking a risk that a lot of the new sign ups would lose interest or not show. Over all I think we won at that. Some new folks have joined test SG's, at least one new SG plans to join the ladder and people are giving other people build advice, ios, strategies.

I know a lot of people hated the fillers but I had to keep teams together before the league even started. People have left the game and come back, top draft picks have showed for one match and never come back - and a lot of other drama that has gone done across a lot of teams.

bottom line is - it's supposed to be fun. If you can't show up with that in mind. Don't show (and this is directed at all teams not any one team...).

Sorry it's not up to everyone's expectations but IMHO we done pretty well with the goals in mind and the hands we were dealt. I plan on doing a season 2- and yeah it will be different and should fix a lot of the issues we had (including hopefully no need for fillers).

Jimmay...you've done great, and have put a lot of time, and energy putting this together, and for that we all have to thank you. Its not your fault that people are irresponsible and don't keep up with their commitments.

I'm sure a second season would be better, since we would have most of the kinks worked out, plus captains will probably have a better idea of peeps that are unreliable when draft time comes up again.

I was already logged out when this supposed "tie" occurred. It was already convened with Jimmay that we would give your team the 3 points for being there, even though the reality is 2 people showing up don't make a team. As far as I'm concerned, you guys had 3 forfeits, but I'll let Jimmay decide.
