All of these are things i have done to annoy my friends, please don't do any on random people however

1.) If you have super speed, spin around them really fast by holding down A and W and then pressing follow.

2.) If they are meelle based, follow them around on a kin with repel or a forcefield guy with repulsion and knock everyone out of the way that they try and attack

3.) Afk chat spam them. Basically once you know they are typing, send them a tell and press enter really quickly, this will then cause a screen of [AFK] messages until one of you gets banned from talking. The best way to do this is to press [comma] [enter] [enter] really quickly, it annoys so many people

4.) talk to them only in "leet". The one i've used that annoys people the most is "1F J00 C4N R34D 7H15 J00 N33D 70 G37 L41D"

5.) for this you'll need a person to help. I'll describe it giving a real example that i did in RV the other night while a friend was PVPing

Person A = You
Person B = Your friend who is helping you
Person C = The one you want to annoy


Anyway so person C is fighting along in RV, and then you come along and find an AV. You (being person A) then taunts this AV to your friend, telling B to get ready, then B TPs you leaving the AV to practially one shot your squishy friend

What i meant to say was the Hey Farmer global account is down until friday

I like it if all heroes are named.

However i think if only the team leader was named, everyone would be fighting and wanting the star, and the TF would never get done

I got it from perfect world.

In that game you could get married, you could carry your partner, hold hands and kiss and stuff.

But then i didn't wanna take it too far in this game.

If we can have a life in regards to Day Jobs, why not a life in regards to this??

All IOs are craftable from recipies into enhancments
Also costume peices, temp powers and respecs

You learn a recipie (only basic IO's) by crafting it so many times, not sure on the amount of times, but its on the net somewhere

If you have learnt the recipie, then you do not need to pay for the recipie, only the crafting costs (eg for a 50 IO its 400kish to buy and 400kish to craft, costing 800k, without buying any salvage... if you have learnt it, you'll only need to pay the one lot of 400k)

The benfits are, its cheaper to make the IO's once you've learnt them

Still Off Topic: Stopped trying, i was annoying too many people both on COH and in real life with me being constantly stressy and snappy. Lasted 3 days though, its a start

I think the way this will work is

The couples who play COH together will probably /sign this

Those who are single or who's partners don't play this will /unsign this as it doesn't appeal to them

Apart from the time played badges (just a much longer version of those already there)

These badges require some form of skill, and nearly all of them require a team. Its not like MA where they can be totally abused.

Theres a rather large difference between someone who has watched someone play the game, probably knows how it works fairly well before they even pick it up, and someone who goes online/into a shop and goes 'Ooo, City of Heroes, MMO...I'll give that a go.'

She didn't, it was more like "i wanna play the game you keep ignoring me to play"
But she'd never seen me play, never watched trailers, didn't know much about it apart from i like playing it.

But seriously the point i was trying to make is, that once she hit level 50, she only knew how to move around and sit at the door. But once she was there, people spent time with her (me, my brother, my dad, my step-mum and in game friends) and taught her a few things, some she learnt by herself, and now if you team with her you'd have no idea she MA-PLed to 50.

It was just because she got the oppertunity to join in teams and make mistakes and learn from them, instead of people avioding her for only having MA badges.

If we take the combined knowledge of everyone posting in this topic, and use it to teach PLed people how to play, we could have quite a few more high level teams/TF's going on with the extra people.

I'd like to appologise to some of the things i've said in this thread, and others recently on the COH forums. I tried to give up smoking and it made me proper stressy

Okay let me give a real example then. On defiant my fiance started playing COH. She wanted to team with me, but i mostly enjoy the high level stuff, so i powerleveled her to 50 and she had a 50 within 6 hours of making her first charactor.

So she's new, and got a 50 straight away... but since then, even when i've not been on, she's learned how to play, and still within her first month she's gotton good. She's been on 5 ITFs, 1 of which she organised by herself and was repped to invince, done synapse and manticore, and she can even solo some AV's now too. Most of that she learned by herself, all she askes sometimes is how to get to different zones (some people much longer playing still ask that)


So would you refuse to team with her because she got a 50 on her first day being PLed in MA, or would you play with her because she may be a new player that PLed, but she still knows what she is doing?

Any significant reward is going to lead to marrying just being something you do at 30th along with the Aura mission.

Tbh reading your post, i can understand why you may not like the suggestion.

The only reason i put the 1.25% modifier is to encourage people to try it, however i'd still be happy and still be willing to marry if their was no benifit (apart from being able to have "Married to X" under my name )

Manticore and Sister Pscyhe got married. Also there have been a few in game marriages so i don't see there being any harm in it.

My next patch if i was working there, and i was uber clever with computers, would be


1: The ability to get Married in game: A mission available to those 30+, after completing the mission you have the option to marry another hero (who has completed it). There will then be some slight benfits if you team with this person

1.1: XP and Inf modifier allowing you to recieve 1.25 of the current inf/xp whilst teamed with that hero
1.2: The ability to set "Married To $Heroname" as the badge title
1.3: A Badge


2: New Badges to collect

2.1: Giant Monster Basher - Killing 20 GMs
2.2: True Hero - 1000 hours of play on that charactor
2.3: Going Alone - 200 hours of solo play
2.4: Backed Up - 200 hours of teaming (2+)
2.5: Fed The World - Defeating Hamindon (something in description about it being jelly)
2.6: Trailist - Completely all Trials
2.7: Undecided - Completeing the respec TF 3 times


3: A new story arc only available once reaching level 50

4: Allowing charactors to have 5 pools instead of 4

5: Increase global friends limit

Where as there is some on Defiant, its quite rare. Union is best for role-play, however i am sure you can find some like-minded people who will play along side you on defiant

You always need a random person on any planned team.

Doing missions on COH you always need someone to pick on!

Although its about the players and i agree with those saying any.

1.) Invul/Energy Tanker (Main Tank)
2.) Spines/Willpower Scrapper
3.) Fire/Kin Controller
4.) Ice/Rad Controller
5.) MA/Regen Scrapper
