Ok so as a stem from another thread that I didn't want to hi-jack....

Whats craftable, and what are the benefits? How do you learn reciepies? etc etc.. Anyone know anything about this please...

All IOs are craftable from recipies into enhancments
Also costume peices, temp powers and respecs

You learn a recipie (only basic IO's) by crafting it so many times, not sure on the amount of times, but its on the net somewhere

If you have learnt the recipie, then you do not need to pay for the recipie, only the crafting costs (eg for a 50 IO its 400kish to buy and 400kish to craft, costing 800k, without buying any salvage... if you have learnt it, you'll only need to pay the one lot of 400k)

The benfits are, its cheaper to make the IO's once you've learnt them

Heyman has already mentioned the basics, so I'm gonna go more specifically into memorization.

If by the term "learning" you're referring to memorizing recipes, then here is a basic view of it from P-Wiki.

"If you complete enough of the right selection of common invention recipes, you will memorize them, and related others. Memorizing a recipe unlocks a set of choices under the Memorized tab. Using a recipe under the memorized tab does not consume a recipe object, so you are not required to have a copy of the recipe in your inventory. "

It can occasionally take a long duration of time to get them, but I've memorized all of the recipes on three toons, so far!

The amount of times required to memorize the recipe is different. It's usually 10 times of crafting it, but that's only "usually"

Eg: the Energy Conservationist badge requires you to craft 9 lvl 10 endurance reductions and endurance mods recipes, while the Charismatic badge requires you to craft 8 level 35 and 8 level 40 mez ehancements (sleep, snare, hold, stun, immbolize and fear) and one additional lvl 35 or 40 recipe to craft.

It's extremely recommended to use paragon wiki to assist you when you're aiming to acquire memorization badges.

The Inventor badge, four of the five crafting badges (one isn't required) and all of the memorization badges (besides 45-50 ones) are all required for the Field Crafter badge.

I just thought I'd let ya know since this is all regarding with the memorization badges. Also, acquiring the Field Crafter badge will give you the Portable Workbench accolade power. And being able to craft recipes at any time and anywhere is extremely useful; it saves you a large amount of time when contrasting it with your usual visit to a Uni.

Also remember that it's also possible to craft in a SuperGroup base provided they have a crafting station.

Empowerment Buffs

You can craft temporary buffs in SG bases if you have the right objects in your base. These objects in turn can be crafted in the base prior to placing them.
