Base building is starting in (slightly more) earnest now, so in order for it to get anywhere near useful this millenia any help from Rangers (&friends) Villains will come in very handy

However if you trust the Americans there are a couple of builds on the corruptor board over there (would post URL but doesn't seem to work at present)

What's wrong with Night Fall? It's our only cone AOE with proper(ish) damage and stacks well with TT. Seems to hit a fair amount with 1 accuracy (and what do you mean by duration? The defense debuff?).

Know what you mean about poor damage output though - I think it may just be the Dark/ set itself.

How essential do you think stamina is? I've got the two pre-requisites, but don't seem to have endurance issues yet so keep putting it off each time I level (not got Shadowfall yet though).

From someone who got it wrong... remember to take some of your secondaries before getting all the blasts, otherwise you hit 24 desparate for a respec.

Oh, and Tar Patch is your friend.

I'm thinking of dropping hasten in a respec and compensating with an extra redrec or two in each power (on my nrg/nrg blaster). Has anyone tried this and if so did it work?

Another nrg/nrg here (and another Ranger - there's a surprise).

My 2 cents on Energy Torrent - I used it *a lot* at lower levels to keep things out of melee range. However if you manage to work Total Focus and Bonesmasher into your build (both very high damage melee attacks) by lvl 38, anything getting close can be swiftly dealt with (and usually ends up stunned if you don't finish it). Add in Power Boost for extra stun effect and a whole new way to play opens up.

Oh, and no more then 3 slots in health or stamina as the extra one's don't give much benefit.

Got to be honest I really like scourge.

Not totally sure how much it helps damage, but when all the AoE DoT attacks on my Dark/Dark start kicking in with it, all the Scourge floating around the screen really helps that evil feeling

And yes, it is so much better then defiance...

Well, since by definition the Corrosion Rangers members generally all have alts to play with on CoH we sometimes need more friends to go villaining with...

So here's a shout out to see if anyone want to set up a coalition with us in the world of CoV. There's generally at least some of us on, so any VG's out there (particularly if you already have picked up some of The Coalitions alts) who want to form a coalition with Rangers dark side then let me know.

Hey Aero - we have our wires crossed - sometimes a bit of faster levelling is useful for getting out of a dip but in the end the game is the game we love, and that's why we play it, wherever we are (lets be honest dark/dark is hardly uber-build, and that's what I'm having fun with playing Twisted )

Meanwhile - The Corrosions have now got a base!!!

It's a bit spartan, but I got kicked out of builder mode when the servers reset. Come in and tell me what you want me to do with it...

Yeah - I meant with SK otherwise there's no fun to be had...

...although I did always think you levelled slightly faster SK'd to a higher team (I may be wrong here), and I've always thought of that as PLing to some extent.
