Honestly, I'm just really, really lonely; MMOs are supposed to be social.
Except for @Crashed and @Ran Kailie, I don't really talk to anyone. @Abyssalmoon sometimes talks to me. -
I hate you all! Now I want to (re)do my "Red Psionic" on Virtue. Or maybe Union...?

I've been back nearly a month, now. Been mostly playing alone and not really chatting with anyone.
A friend tells me that supergroups have more or less been replaced by global channels. Truth? -
"Steel Dominion" is the only name I'm sitting on. He is also a lvl 50 SS/EA Brute. Slotted, just no enhancements.

Differences in server culture and community norms (and not wanting to unintentionally come off as some sort of stereotypical "obnoxious American" due to any misunderstanding of same-) is exactly why I haven't said a word to anyone since I started working on a Union character.
I figured lurking for awhile to figure out what was what was preferable to just jumping in and ending up looking like a complete idiot...
Too bad that particular player didn't follow a similar plan. He sounds like a real pain in the rear.

Just kidding. I'm sure all us Virtue-ites will start a new trend. And even if we don't, during the EU night, we'll have the server during the day!! -
I was just commenting to my boyfriend today that, having come from "that other game that is the 900-pound-gorilla of MMOs," I notice now that City doesn't have critters. And here is this critter!

"Best names" are subjective. I've seen plenty of names people have put forward in other threads as their "best names" and my first thought was... "Seriously...? You consider that a great name?" I'm sure people think the same about some of the names I've come up with.
All the best names are not taken, because there is really no such thing as a 'best name'.
Like, actual names that actual comicbook characters would have. -
I'm considering making a shark concept toon. I'd like to do Claws/Dark but I'm not sure if it should be a Scrapper or a Brute.
I'm recently back from a 4-Year hiatus and never played Claws/ on a Brute before. Brutes are Fury monsters, which fits my concept:
Eviscerate (Brute): Melee (Cone), Superior DMG(Lethal), Foe -DEF(All), Taunt
Lethal dmg and the -Def of Eviscerate intrigues me.
However, Scrappers have Critical Hit which can also work for me as they do extra damage with each attack.
So, I'm wondering what the census is on Claws/Dark Brutes vs. Claws/Dark Scrappers? -

Heck even our global channels have been derided in favour of the NA ones even though Defiant is a EU server and someone decided to create a Defiant Events NA side which made one of the oldest global channels on EU to be appended with a EU: Defiant Events EU.

Finding the right name is compounded by the fact that nearly all the best names are already taken, especially if you are on a high population server. It took me nearly a month to come up with my name for my Mind/Psi Dom and now that I have him and the costume, and he's level 12, I'm thinking of re-rolling Blaster and changes the concept to better fit the name!

I know almost all the best costume creators and concept makers on Virtue. Now I must know everyone who is important to know on Union!

I am the only Antares! I wasn't affected, so I assume there was no EU Antares! Still, if I find out who ingame has my Name on Virtue, I'll pay them to take it!

Where is Burst? Burst is like an early Foot Stomp, without the extra +dmg. My KM/EA only reached 22, but Burst was invaluable for keep enemies off their feet in melee. Can't hit you if they're bouncing!

I've always assumed that City subscriber population was substantially smaller than the 900-Pound Gorilla that rules the MMO genre...But much more dedicated. And frankly, I'd rather have it smaller.
When I submit a Support Ticket, I get an answer a heckuva lot faster in City than the other game! And when I send a tweet to Posi he actually tweets me back!
