To Broken Chains:
GDHRT would like to request an alternate date for our match. Saturday I've got to work after hours, I'll be out from like 7 PM to probably midnight so I will unable to make our scheduled arena match.
Please send me a PM or in game tell so we can schedule another suitable time.

Ever wonder how old one of your characters are?
I know you can figure out the amount of hours you've played and how many times you've logged in, but what if you wanted to find out when you actually created said character?
Is there some mystical mysterious way of finding out this information? Or is it lost in the vortex black whole like parts of the internets? -

You've heard it here folks, Artic is "the best". Hell, Psoma, Exit, Pixel, Psy, Berserk, Elf Stalker, Hinden, Enigma, Deno, Lite, Smeede, Scribe, Droe, and Simon you're all baddos. Go home.
It's obvious why
This isn't arena. -

Quote:I wish I could sig your entire post. Unfortunately I can't so this will have to suffice.the i13 pvp overhaul was a complete PR disaster for the devs. Very similar to NGE in star wars just on a far smaller scale and only affecting a minority of the player base.
The utter breakdown in communication between the devs and the pvp community was shameful. A community rep lost his position through what seemed to me was him sticking up for Castle/Posi and admitting the dev's animosity towards the 'hardcore' pvp community.
And any opportunity that Posi gets questioned on pvp he makes some banal comment about liking the new system then refuses point blank to answer any more questions. There has obviously been a company directive to ignore and avoid anything pvp related. And in light of the fact that people obviously can lose their jobs by engaging the playerbase on pvp related topics they all hold the line.
Its pointless. The devs will never touch pvp again. All we are doing is giving the active pvp haters more opportunity to kick pvp while its down. All the same idiots who for some bizzarre reason castle/posi used as their focus group for pvp changes. "I actively hate pvp, I have never and will never pvp and will vocally attack coh pvp until it is removed from the game." - perfect, this guy is just who we should listen to for pvp changes!
Just look at all the vultures in this thread. Why are they even here? They consistently and monotonously repeat their "have never, will neverrr...." mantra while posting hysterically in pvp threads any opportunity they get.
I dont really care that much for badging. Using their logic I should be campaigning for it to be removed from the game non stop? Trolling every badger thread I can?
You dont like pvp? Fine just go enjoy what u like about CoH. PvP will hardly ever have any effect on your enjoyment of CoH. The pvp hate mob won. PvP'ers lost. Well done. Now try and have a little decency instead of repeatedly kicking someone when they are down. However logical, coherent and polite you are, you are still just trolling.

There's some people you could skip healing and they'll rage quit the entire match.

Quote:Cool story. Was this on Freedumb?I just did a quick tour of the PvP zones. Out of the 37 heroes I saw, 29 were Stalkers. Out of the 30 villains I saw, 27 were Stalkers. A majority of PvP folks use the gankfest classes and always will, no matter what the vocal defenders on the forums say. This game has never been able to balance it out in the slightest, it's been a rock-scissors-paper of cookie cutter builds.
Issue 13 was an attempt to tone that down. Apparently, all it did was increase the Stalker ratio from 60-75% on the villainside to something approaching 95%.
(Also, I saw 1 Tanker.. who was getting shivans to run a TF) -

Quote:Wow Kat, just Wow.Being you seem to get off on publicly challenging me here are your answers.
1. We volunteer to be PvPEC reps. There is no voting. There also is no long line of people waiting to volunteer.
2. Your applications were ignored by me. If I felt for one minute that either one of you were sincere in wanting to run events for the community and would follow the PvPEC rules which includes not causing drama, not trolling people, adhering to the EULA and respecting all other players including other PvPEC reps and including me you wouldn't have been ignored.
3. When both of your volunteered once, not several times as you claimed was the day after being banned by me from PvPEC events at all. As someone pointed out on that thread in question that sorta disqualifies you from participating in the PvPEC now doesn't it?
4. I let you back in to participating on your word that the drama was over and past history was squashed. However from day one your posts have been challenging me and at points totally disrespecting me to say the least. Your tells to me in game have been rude, demanding and simply being a ******** for no reason. Also do not think for one minute the other PvPEC reps that you have threatened, verbally assaulted and have treated badly has went unnoticed either.
5. If it wasn't for your team members who are just here to have fun I would probably put myself out of my own misery and just ban you again. I am trying to be the bigger person here though but to be blunt you are a dikk hairs length away from riding my very last nerve. I know you don't care so keep being passive aggressive and it will be what it is.
6. I decide who joins the PvPEC. I also decide how I am going to run the events that I volunteer my time to run. Don't like it then keep it moving to events that you do like how they are ran, or since you are so community oriented, run some yourself with your rules your way.
7. I don't plan on banning you simply because you are rude or nasty to me. However I will put you and your 234234 accounts on ignore and then when you need to ask me a question that are legitimate you will get no response. It will also mean you get no vote as a Captain on issues. So your choice how you handle this from now on big boy.
Angry post from Critical Kat deals over 9,000 points of internet damage! Insane ultra angry-shutdown-on-the-internets explodes for 230482340382 points of negative e-peen damage.
BTW Kat, this is for you.

Okay I'll bite, this'll be fun
First fallacy. Yes it does. One way or the other people are being competitive and want to win. No one likes losing and some take it more seriously than others. Some will try to win no matter what and losing while it may have gotten them more points, is not something they'd like to do. Take for example the team in question I was talking about. Hell, Psyrene, and GFunny would not want to lose to Bud/Elf stalker's team. It would reflect badly on them and it would allow Bud/Elf stalker to run their mouths and talk **** on the boards or in game or just take a screen shot of the win and parade it around on the forums, sort of like a "Hey guess what Hell? We smashed ya'll!!!!"
Quote:This has to do with the system - sorry you feel abusing the system is warranted (cause that is the only reason to say "take a loss so you get more points".. come on, get off your high horse and listen to some logic (maybe you can't and this falls on death ears, but I don't care) Let me guess you are against any changes being retroactive also? (Funny pairity that would be)
And even when we *did* run three stalkers, our main man Droe screwed the match up and got himself killed, we weren't trying to force ties but we ended up losing the match which got us more points because of the loss and of course Hell's team got more points cause they won.
So please good sir, please refrain from throwing out random false statements on these boards and post facts.
I'm not for or against any retroactive changes to the rules. If there's going to be any "retro" changes, how about we see the submitted changes before I say "yes" or "no" to them.
