Free fitness pool should be interesting; especially to builds like /WP, /Regen and VEATs. I don't foresee any nerfing just because of the trade-off in slotting (Fitness Pool powers vs. the 1-4 powers chosen in their stead)

PRAETORIA
Tasks
- Fixed a bug with all contacts introduced through Calvin Scott and Provost Marchand where players would have to click on the contact twice before they would give out missions. This affects the following contacts:

- Jessica Flores
- Aaron Walker
- Ricochet
- Hatchet
- Crow
- Interrogator Washington
- Interrogator Kang
- IVy
- Deputy Assistant of Info.
- Mr. G

Fairly accurate (give or take) and very funny. Some of the 'complaints' he made have been stated here numerous times and his take on it gives a good indicator on how word-of-mouth will be when newcomers are discussing CoX with their friends.

Thanks bud, it seems to be a ton of work that goes into this (and all w/o pay); so thanks a thousand times over for your time and efforts.

Early Release? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Capoeira animations for MA (or Tae Bo)

Being able to assign any /emote (or many emotes) to self buff/team buff powers (lol, /em teabag for GodMode activations)

Quote:An option that may not have come up...
For powers that already have multiple animations, an option to have it randomly alternate between BOTH would be pretty sweet. Like the way a Shields character's brawl will either be a shield bash or a kick every other time. On some characters who wind up with very few real attacks (looking at my Super Strength tanker here), it'd help your options feel a lot more diverse if you were mixing up what it looks like you're doing. The only way to do this right now is save different animation setups on identical costumes and switch slots every 30 seconds or so.
This would be a nice twist; instead of getting stuck using an attack chain with X set animations (with change only available at the Tailor), you would get an attack chain with exponentially more animation combinations.
I would advise that it be restricted to like animation sets (randomizing between weaponized and non-weaponized animation sets, for example, wold probably come off as tacky).
[Bullet Time effect for powers that use dodging animations or ripple-shift effects] -
Alternate animations for MM pet summons
Origin themed power animations -
Powers that come out of the face (eyes/mouth) as an alternate to coming out of the hands and vice versa.
Weaponized versions of powers that would normally animate out of the hands (Dark Guns, Electric Cannons, Ice Rifles, Sonic Blasters, etc) and vice versa.
Insectoid swarm animation of all ranged powers.
Custom colors for pool powers.
Tantrum animation for Foot Stomp
Porting many off the CC emotes to self buff powers
Alternate Walk and Ninja Run animations
More custom skins for non-weapon set weapons (ie. Fire/Ice Swords, etc)
Ripple/Echo effect for Super Speed
A different 'gather-then-shoot' animation for non-weapon snipes
More 'Hong Kong cinema' animation sets for Katana, Ninja Blade, Ninjitsu, Martial Arts and Dual Blades (maybe even Claws and Battle Axe)
Slasher flick animations for Battle Axe and other bladed weapon sets (and anything Stalker related)
Colored bullets (tracer rounds)? -

Quote:Thanks.Justice is the next most populous after Freedom and Virtue, if the sorting at login is to be believed. It's consistently near them at the last of the list.
Next most jumps at random. Triumph, strangely, jumps from least to 3rd sometimes.
So, it might be a good idea to try to make it 3 active by going to Justice.
(Is it safe to assume that most of the activity happens at the Blue spectrum of each server?) -
What are the top 4 servers for active population? Freedom, Virtue, _________ and... ?

Quote:*yay*From what I read in the rules for the contest, you don't have to draw well at all to win. All the winners, including the Grand Prize, are drawn randomly. The only things needed to be eligible for the computer is to a) be at least 18, b) live in the lower 48 States somewhere, c) have a ZAM account, and d) submit any kind of hand-drawn picture of one of your characters (no screenies). There's no mention of a panel of judges looking at your artwork, or anything.

My last bit of input for this thread.
There have been some great ideas about what to add to (and do with) existing buildings and landscaping. If there are some of ideas that may fall short of the scope of world map modifications, hopefully, they will find their way into the game as instance mission landscapes and interior maps. -
Quote:In Port Oakes, there's this NPC guy fishing off the docks; Canada Joe. He has a 'green name' just like a Contact would but when you click him, he does nothing...I don't know "Canada Joe". But what you see is not necessarily what other people see, such as the objects summoned by Propel which are created client side and different for everyone. They could have these new contacts become invisible for the person for whom they are "dead", and visible for everyone else.
...the Propel thing could be a possibility. -

Quote:CoX currently has a Day and Gray cycle for the most part... nothing as detailed/contrasted as the vid seems to be; awesome sunrise BTW (also currently not in PC or RI) And I don't remember seeing any building lighting during the Gray shift (at least not on redside).I'm confused by this remark. Paragon City and the Rogue Isles currently have day/night cycles with corresponding building lighting. Could you clarify what, in particular, you saw differently in Praetoria?
If there is building lighting (as in internal building lights streaming out the windows like in the vid); I haven't seen it (primarily playing redside). -
The video was great and strengthens the case for making over Paragon City and the Rogue Isles; even if it is only a zone at a time.
I'm really hoping that the vids depiction of a day/night cycle (with corresponding building/street lighting) is actual game-play stuff (not just cut scene candy) and that it also finds its way into PC and RI.
The zones (especially Nova Praetoria) were awesome; good job (and will now be expecting Praetorian level base upgrades). -
